DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson Street and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson Street under I-40 in order to perform cleanup.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 254 (Old Hickory Boulevard) over Otter Creek

  • Thursday June 12 through Friday June 20, 9AM-3PM, There will a lane closure on SR 254 in order to perform bridge work.  Flaggers will be utilized.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 31W (Dickerson Road) from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on US 31W from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad in order to install guardrail and shoulder stone.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 100 from SR 96 to the Davidson County Line

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be lane closures on SR 100 from LM 6.85 to LM 11.26 in order to mill the roadway.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Microsurfacing on SR 96 from SR 100 to the Davidson-Williamson County Line

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 in order to pave the roadway.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Longitudinal Cable Barrier on I-24 from West of Clay Lick Road to East of Lickton Pike

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound between MM 37 and MM 40 for installation of cable barrier.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Monday June 16 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24, eastbound and westbound, and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.
  • Monday June 16 through Wednesday June 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 eastbound (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

  • Friday June 13, 8PM through Monday June 16, 6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane, eastbound only, from MM 141 to MM 143, in order to perform bridge repairs.  Troopers will be utilized.
  • Thursday June 12 and Sunday June 15 through Wednesday June 18, 8PM-6AM, I-40 reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 135 to MM 148, in order to perform milling operations.  Troopers will be utilized.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Marshall County Line to North of SR 99

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-65, northbound and southbound, for paving operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8AM-4PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 from Cayer Lane to Raider Lane in order to install barrier rail.
  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Boulevard at Trotwood Avenue in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

BEDFORD/RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from West of SR 840 to East of SR 840 and from East of Epps Mill Road to the Coffee County Line

  • Monday June 16 through Wednesday June 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24, eastbound and westbound, in order to pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 24 (US 70N) from the Smith-Wilson County Line to Stallings Road

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 24, eastbound and westbound, in order to resurface the roadway.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 6 (US 31E) from SR 258 (New Shackle Island Road) to Saundersville Road

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6, eastbound and westbound, in order to pave the roadway.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 1PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 in both directions for blasting at mile marker 61.5 (Goose Creek Bypass/Peytonsville Road).

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM- 3PM, There will be temporary lane closures at all intersections to complete final items of work.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench and bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.
  • Thursday June 12 through Tuesday June 17, 8PM–6AM, There will be a lane closure at the intersection of Nolensville Road and Concord Road in order to install the new signal structures and vehicle detection loops.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Microsurfacing on SR 246 (Carters Creek Pk) from the Maury County Line to Southall Rd

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 246 in order to pave the roadway.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing I-40 beginning East of SR 26 (US 70) and ending at the Smith County Line

  • Thursday June 12 through Tuesday June 17 (excluding Saturday and Sunday), 8PM to 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40, eastbound and westbound, for milling operations.

 

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40, eastbound and westbound, in order to pave.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson

  • I-65, Williamson

 

Rutherford County

  • Monday June 16 and Tuesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be reduced lane width on SR 840 on Exit 55 ramps (Murfreesboro/Smyrna exit) to repair bridge approaches.

 

Williamson County

  • Monday June 16 and Tuesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840, eastbound and westbound, at the bridge over SR 11 (MM 41.5, Exit 42) to repair bridge approaches.
  • Wednesday June 18 through Friday June 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65, northbound and southbound, at the bridge over Church Street (MM 74.2) to repair bridge approaches.  Two lanes will remain open.

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Maury County

  • Monday June 16 through Wednesday June 18, 8AM-3PM, There will be a lane closed on SR 247, from LM 0.0 to LM 5.73, for cleanup of drift with track-hoe.

 

Robertson County

  • Thursday June 12 through Friday June 20, 7PM-6AM, (excluding Sunday), There will be various  lane closures in both directions on I-65 in Robertson County in order to do milling, paving and striping from MM 110.00 to MM 121.47 at the Tennessee-Kentucky State line. One lane will remain open at all times. (weather dependent).
  • Thursday June 12 through Wednesday June 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures in both directions on SR 49 from LM 7.9 to LM 9.5 in order to seal roadway cracks.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Thursday July 31, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane in order for Piedmont Natural Gas Co. to open cut and install a 6” gas main.

 

Hickman County

  • Thursday June 12, 7PM-6AM, Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. will open-cut into roadway to repair natural gas mainline on SR 229 (Only Road), one mile north of the intersection with SR 50.

 

Williamson County

  • Thursday June 12 and Friday June 13, 9AM-3PM, Piedmont Natural Gas Co. will open-cut install 12” main across Liberty Church Road alongside SR 253 (Concord Road).

 

Miscellaneous

Atmos Energy

  • Thursday June 12, 8PM–5AM, There will be lane closures at 1182 West Main in Franklin for Atmos Energy to install a gas line.

 

City of Franklin

  • Thursday June 12 and Friday June 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 106 at Hillsboro Road for the City of Franklin to install a water service.
  • Thursday June 12, 8PM-5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on Main Street (SR 246 at 11th Avenue) for waterline work.  One lane will remain open at all times.

 

City of Smyrna

  • Thursday June 12 through Sunday June 15, Various daytime road and trail closures in the Sam Ridley Parkway area to accommodate the planned event of the Great Tennessee Air Show.
