DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson Street and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson Street under I-40 in order to perform cleanup.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 254 (Old Hickory Boulevard) over Otter Creek

  • Thursday June 5 and Friday June 6, 9AM-3PM, There will a lane closure so that shoring at abutment one (1) may be installed.  Flaggers will be utilized.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad & Rivergate Parkway

  • Monday June 9 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound from MM 96 to MM 99 in order for milling to begin at the Long Hollow, Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek bridges.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 31W (Dickerson Road) from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad

  • Sunday June 8 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on US 31W from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad in order to remove plowable markers and install permanent signs.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Microsurfacing on SR 96 from SR 100 to the Davidson-Williamson County Line

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 in order to pave the roadway.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Longitudinal Cable Barrier on I-24 from West of Clay Lick Road to East of Lickton Pike

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 9AM-3PM, (excluding CMA restrictions), There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 eastbound and westbound, between MM 37 and MM 40, for installation of cable barrier.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.
  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 eastbound (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.
  • Friday June 6, 7PM-6AM, The two southbound lanes and turn lane will be closed on SR 6 (Gallatin Pike) at the intersection of Neelys Bend Road and at the intersection of Madison Street to replace crosswalks.  Southbound traffic will be diverted into one northbound lane (left lane).  Northbound traffic will be diverted into the remaining northbound lane.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

  • Friday June 6, 8PM through Monday June 9, 6AM, I-40 westbound will be reduced to one lane, from MM 140 to MM 142, in order to perform bridge repairs.  Troopers will be utilized.
  • Monday June 9 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions from MM 135 to MM 148 in order to perform milling operations.  Troopers will be utilized.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Marshall County Line to North of SR 99

  • Monday June 9 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound for paving operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 8AM-4PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 from Cayer Lane to Raider Lane in order to install barrier rail.
  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Blvd at Trotwood Avenue in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

BEDFORD/RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from West of SR 840 to East of SR 840 and from East of Epps Mill Road to the Coffee County Line

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to pave the roadway, install guardrail and repair concrete ramps near SR 840.  One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Friday June 6, 8PM through Monday June 9, 6AM, The I-24 westbound ramp to SR 840 west will be closed for concrete repair. Detours will be in place.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 24 (US 70N) from the Smith-Wilson County Line to Stallings Road

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 24 eastbound and westbound in order to resurface the roadway.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 6 (US 31E) from SR 258 (New Shackle Island Road) to Saundersville Road

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6, eastbound and westbound, in order to mill the roadway and install traffic loops.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Friday June 6 and Tuesday June 10, 1PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 in both directions for blasting at MM 61.5 near Goose Creek Bypass/Peytonsville Road.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 9AM- 3PM, There will be temporary lane closures at all intersections to complete final items of work.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.
  • Thursday June 5 through Tuesday June 10, 8:30PM–5:30AM, There will be a lane closure at the intersection of Nolensville Road and Concord Road in order to install the new signal structures and vehicle detection loops.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Microsurfacing on SR 246 (Carters Creek Pk) from the Maury County Line to Southall Rd

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 246 in order to pave the roadway.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing I-40 beginning East of SR 26 (US 70) and ending at the Smith County Line

  • Thursday June 5 through Tuesday June 10 (excluding Saturday), 8PM to 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-40 for milling operations.

 

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Monday June 9 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to pave.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Davidson County

  • Monday June 9 through Wednesday June 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed in each direction on Old Hickory Blvd near the Hopewell community in order to repair the RR crossing.

 

Robertson County

  • Thursday June 5 through Friday June 13, 7PM-6AM, There will be various  lane closures in both directions on I-65, from MM 110 to MM 121 at the Tennessee-Kentucky State line, in order to do milling, paving and striping of the roadway. One lane will remain open at all times. (weather dependent)
  • Thursday June 5 through Wednesday June 11, 8PM-6AM,  There will be lane closures in both directions on SR 11 / US 41, from MM 0 at the Robertson-Davidson County line to MM 8.45 at the intersection of Bill Jones Industrial Drive, in order to seal roadway cracks.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Thursday July 31, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
  • Thursday June 5, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 155 (White Bridge Road) near the entrance to Nashville State Community College in order for Star Construction to mill and pave the roadway.
  • Sunday June 8, 8AM-11AM, There will be a rolling roadblock in both directions on SR 155 (Briley Parkway) at the SR 12 (Ashland City Highway) interchange in order for AT&T to overlash aerial fiber optic facilities approximately 1011 feet.

 

Williamson County

  • Thursday June 5, 7PM-6AM, City of Franklin will have lane closures to open cut into the roadway at 210 Lewisburg Ave (SR 431) to install a water main service tap.  
  • Sunday, June 8, 5:30AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65, northbound and southbound, at MM 70 (south of Concord Road) in order for MTEMC to pull conductors across the interstate.

 

Hickman County

  • Monday June 9 through Thursday June 12, 7PM-6AM,  There will be lane closures on SR 229 (Only Road), one mile north of the intersection of SR 50, in order for Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. to open-cut into the roadway to repair natural gas mainline.
