DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad, Rivergate Pkwy, Long Hollow Pike, E Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65, northbound and southbound, between MM 96 and MM 99 in order to seal joints on the ramps.
  • Friday July 11, 8PM through Monday July 14, 6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65, northbound and southbound, between MM 96 and MM 99, at CSX Railroad and Rivergate Pkwy, in order to perform deck repairs and replace the median barrier wall.  At least two lanes will remain open in each direction. 

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 254 (Old Hickory Boulevard) over Otter Creek

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 9AM-3PM, There will a lane closure on SR 254 in order to perform bridge work.  Flaggers will be utilized.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 31W (Dickerson Road) from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on US 31W from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad in order to install guardrail and shoulder stone.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Sign Replacement on SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) at Cartwright Street

  • Thursday July 10 through Saturday July 12, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on SR 174 from Cartwright Street to 400’ west of the intersection to install a sign.  One lane will remain open.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24, eastbound and westbound, and on SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.
  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 eastbound (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

  • Thursday July 10 through Friday July 11 and Sunday July 13 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 135 to MM 148, in order to perform milling and paving operations.  Troopers will be utilized.
  • Saturday July 12, 5AM through Sunday July 13, 6PM, I-40 westbound will be reduced to one lane, from MM 140 to MM 142 in order to perform bridge repair operations.  Troopers will be utilized.

 

MACON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 52 from Old Highway 52 to Brattontown Circle

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 7AM-4PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 52, eastbound and westbound, for paving operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Marshall County Line to North of SR 99

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65, northbound and southbound, for paving operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8AM-4PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 from Cayer Lane to Raider Lane in order to install barrier rail.
  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Blvd at Trotwood Avenue in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday July 10 and Monday July 14 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 231 (SR 10) from SR 96 to SR 268 (W Thompson Lane)

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 231 in order to complete cold planning, signalization and paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 6 (US 31E) from SR 258 (New Shackle Island Road) to Saundersville Road

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6, eastbound and westbound, in order to install guardrail.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday July 10, 8PM-12Midnight, There will be a lane closure on I-65 northbound between MM 61.5 and MM 62 to grind and restripe ramps at Goose Creek Bypass.
  • Monday July 14 through Wednesday July 16, 1PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 61.5 for blasting.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing I-40 from East of SR 26 (US 70) to the Smith County Line

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-40, eastbound and westbound, for milling and paving operations.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Friday July 11, 8PM through Monday July 14, 6AM, There will be alternating lane shifts on the ramps of I-65 and Cool Springs Blvd. (Exit 68, northbound and southbound) and on the ramps from SR 840 westbound to I-65 northbound and southbound to replace concrete.  Traffic will be maintained.

  • Thursday July 10, 8PM through Friday July 11, 5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65, northbound and southbound, at the Harpeth River and SR 106, for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open.

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday July 10, 8PM-5AM, The left lane of I-24 westbound will be closed between MM 49 (Shelby Ave) and MM 46 (65/40 split) to remove debris from the drains.  Two lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be rolling roadblocks using an attenuator truck along the inside lanes of I-24, I-65, and I-40 in Davidson County to spray herbicide along the median barrier wall.

  • Thursday July 10, 8PM-10PM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound, from MM 205.2 to MM 205.7, just before the I-440 split, in order to obtain cores from the inside shoulder.  Two lanes will remain open.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Thursday July 31, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
  • From now through Friday July 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) eastbound at 32nd Street in the City of Lakewood in order for Metro Water & Sewer to installing a new sewer main and manhole.
  • From now through Thursday July 10, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 155 (White Bridge Road) near the entrance to Nashville State Community College in order for Star Construction to mill and resurface across the roadway.
  • From now through Thursday July 31, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closure in the 4000 block of SR 106 (Hillsboro Pike) in Green Hills in order for Jarrett Builders to install an 8” water main, 6” and 8” sewer mains, 2 public fire hydrants, and storm drainage.
