BENTON COUNTY, SR-191 over I-40:
Wednesday July 2
through Wednesday July 9:  There could be possible intermittent lane closures on State Route 191 for bridge repair work.

Monday July 2 through Wednesday July 9, 8:00 p. m-6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 133.0, for the installation of pavement markings.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-105:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Gibson County line to State Route 190.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over an overflow and the Big Sandy River.  Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over the Rutherford Fork Obion River and overflows.  Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 9.5’ lane restriction.

Tuesday July 8 through Thursday July 10State Route 424 bridge over the Obion River Overflow will be CLOSED to traffic.  Detour route will be posted.

CHESTER COUNTY, SR-22:  Bridge Repair on State Route 22 over Dry Creek at the intersection of Willis Road.  A signal system is active with lights flashing yellow.  Roadway is opened to traffic.

CROCKETT/GIBSON COUNTY, SR-188:  Construction of five (5) concrete box beam bridges on State Route 188 at the Crockett/Gibson County line.  The roadway is CLOSED with a detour route posted.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412):  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Wilkinstown Road/Bear Creek Road to State Route 69.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-202:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 69 to State Route 114.

DYER COUNTY, I-155Bridge repair (2) over overflow right & left.  Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9:  There are no scheduled closures.

Monday July 7:  There will be lane closures in both directions on I-155, for installation of concrete barrier rail.  There will also be an 11’ width restriction in both directions.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal.  A signal system will be utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are CLOSED.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-59:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 194 to State Route 76.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line.  The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection.  State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median.  Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zone and also crossing the roadway.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-104:  A widening project from west of State Route 188 to Milligan Lane and Gumwoods Road will result in temporary lane closures each day.  All traffic is traveling on the westbound lanes.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 18 over Cypress Creek.  Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9:  There will be lane closures north and southbound with a temporary signal in place.  One lane will remain open, in each direction.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57:  Miscellaneous safety improvements at the intersection of State Route 57 & State Route 142 will result in temporary lane closures each day.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction for the West Tennessee Solar Farm and Welcome Center, including removal of Albright Road bridge.  Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9:  There are no scheduled closures.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at the intersection of State Route 76 & I-40 at the weigh station Wednesday July 2, 8:00 p. m.-3:00 a.m.:  There will be a temporary lane closure westbound I-40 (MM 48.0 to MM 51.0), for removal/replacement of stripping.  HELP Truck will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  SR-180:  LOOK AHEAD Beginning Tuesday July 15:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 19 to the Lauderdale County line.

HENDERSON COUNTY,  I-40:  Resurfacing from west of State Route 22 to west of State Route 114 will result in temporary lane closures each day.

Monday July 7 through Thursday July 10, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be lane closures east & westbound I-40 between mile marker 108.0-116.0.  One lane will remain open. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

HENDERSON COUNTY, (SR-104, SR-200, SR-22, SR-114 & SR-104):
Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closures on various State Routes, for installation of miscellaneous safety improvements.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  There are lane shifts throughout the project.  State Route 22 is closed from intersection of State Route 212 and Vaughn Road North to Cates Landing Road. Detour 3.5 miles on Vaughn Road to State Route 22 Cates Landing Road.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-19:  Miscellaneous safety improvements from east of Eastland Avenue to the Haywood County line will result in temporary lane closures each day.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley.  There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MADISON COUNTY, US-70 (SR-1):  A bridge repair project over Gilmers Creek.
Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9:  There will be lane closures in both the eastbound and westbound directions on State Route 1, with a temporary signal, for duration of the project.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 11’ lane restriction.  Signal was activated January 22, 2014

On March 14, 2014, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 3” lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5:  A bridge repair project over Middle Fork Forked Deer River.  Motorists should use caution while traveling through construction zone.

MADISON COUNTY, (SR-152, SR-186, SR-43, SR-5, SR-20, SR-1, SR-223 & SR-198):
Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closures on various State Routes, for installation of miscellaneous safety improvements.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:
Wednesday July 2
through Wednesday July 9:  The left inside shoulder of the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street, will be closed for about six months.  The exit ramp from Westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive has been narrowed to 14 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.  The right shoulder of the entrance ramp from Riverside Drive to I-40 Eastbound has been narrowed to 12 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.

Beginning Thursday, May 15: The exit ramp from Westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive has been narrowed to 14 feet (the right shoulder and a small portion of the lane). “Wide loads” are restricted from using this.  Beginning Tuesday May 20:  The eastbound exit ramp from I-40 Eastbound to Riverside Drive will be CLOSED for approximately three months.  This is the first exit on Eastbound I-40 after crossing the Mississippi River.  The exit to Front Street will remain open; it is only the exit to Riverside Drive that will be closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9:
Wednesday July 2
through Wednesday July 9:  The inside Westbound lane the inside Eastbound lane will remain CLOSED. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.  Lane closures on the I-40 bridge will be required until approximately December 15, 2014.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Memphis Smartway Transportation (ITS) I-40 beginning at SR-177 (Germantown Road) in Shelby County extending to Braden Road Overpass in Fayette County: Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 from west of Davies Plantation Road LM-22.98 to the Fayette County line log mile 30.60:
Monday July 7 through Thursday July 10, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closure eastbound and westbound between US-64/Exit 18 and the Shelby/Fayette County line (MM 19.0 to MM 28.0), for paving operations.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.: Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9:  A widening project on I-240 will cause temporary lane closures. Traffic has been moved to temporary ramps at the Walnut Grove interchange.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements Wednesday July 2 through Wednesday July 9:  Modification of the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Beginning Monday February 10:  The right lane of eastbound Summer Avenue was CLOSED, beginning just west of the existing I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue, for the installation of portable barrier rail to allow for construction of Abutment 1/Wall 12.  This will be a permanent lane closure.

Beginning Saturday March 22:  The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound was CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.  The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound was CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.  Westbound Sam Cooper Boulevard traffic should utilize the inside lane of I-40.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  The I-55 Welcome Center is CLOSED due to construction of a new facility.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61):  A replacement of the bridge over Illinois Central Railroad from South Parkway to McLemore Avenue.  Roadway is CLOSED, a detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:
Wednesday July 2
There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits (log mile 1.65) to Stout Road (log mile 2.40).  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385:  Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Loosahatchie River left & right.  Traffic will be reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane; a twelve (12’) lane will be maintained in each direction.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair  Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8:00 p. m-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged guardrail.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 1C.0 to MM 2.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-240, Shelby County, westbound (MM 23.0 to MM 25.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound (MM 5.5 to MM 6.5)), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-4/Lamar Avenue, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (MM 3.0 to MM 4.0), one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair:
Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: 
There will be nighttime lane closures at the following locations,  for concrete pavement repair.  These will not be simultaneous closures.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound (MM 4.35 to MM 2.80), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound & eastbound entrance ramp from SR-300, one lane will remain open.
  • SR-3 (US-51), Shelby County, entrance ramp to SR-300, one lane will remain open.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the ramp from State Route 431 to north of the ramp from State Route 43.
