CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to pave set barrier rail and pavement marking installation. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad, Rivergate Pkwy, Long Hollow Pike, E Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek

  • Thursday July 31 and Sunday August 3 through Wednesday August 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 southbound, between MM 96 and MM 99, in order to mill the roadway and put epoxy overlay on the bridge decks.
  • Friday August 1, 8PM through Monday August 4, 6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 northbound, between MM 96 and MM 99, in order to perform bridge repairs. Two lanes will remain open at the CSX Railroad and Rivergate Pkwy bridges and one lane will remain open at the Mansker Creek, E Cedar Street, and Long Hollow Pike bridges.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 254 (Old Hickory Boulevard) over Otter Creek

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekend), There will be a lane closure on SR 254 in order to perform bridge work.  Flaggers will be utilized.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

  • Thursday July 31 through Friday August 1 and Sunday August 3 through Wednesday August 6, 8PM-6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 135 to MM 148, in order to perform milling and paving operations.  Troopers will be utilized.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, (excluding Sunday), 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and installation of concrete barrier rail.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Concrete Pavement Repair on Various Interstates and State Routes

  • Wednesday July 30 through Thursday July 31 and Monday August 4 through Wednesday August 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane shifts on the ramps of Saturn Parkway and I-65 to replace concrete.  Traffic will be maintained.
  • Saturday August 2, 3 AM through Monday August 4, 6 AM, There will be alternating lane shifts on the ramps of Saturn Parkway and I-65 to replace concrete.  Traffic will be maintained.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Marshall County Line to North of SR 99

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound for paving operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 8AM-4PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 from Cayer Lane to Raider Lane in order to install barrier rail.
  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Blvd at Trotwood Avenue in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for underground utility crossings work.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 231 (SR 10) from SR 96 to SR 268 (W Thompson Lane)

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 231 (SR 10) in order to complete paving operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

SUMNER AND WILSON COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday July 31 and Friday August 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures with intermittent, temporary stoppage of traffic (approximately 15 minutes each) for off-loading and setting of pre-cast concrete beams.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 1PM (excluding weekend), There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 61.5 for blasting.
  • Thursday July 31, 8PM-12AM, There will be a right lane closure on I-65 northbound at MM 61 in order to remove portable barrier rail.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on I-65 Ramps to SR 253 (Concord Rd)

  • From now through December 2014, I-65 northbound will be reduced from 4 lanes to 3 lanes near Concord Road for ramp repairs. A lane shift will also be in place on the northbound and southbound off-ramps.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench and bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing I-40 from East of SR 26 (US 70) to the Smith County Line

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to install permanent striping and cleanup.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Davidson County

  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be rolling roadblocks using an attenuator truck along the inside lanes of I-24, I-65, and I-40 in Davidson County to spray herbicide along the median barrier wall.
  • Thursday July 31 through Wednesday August 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for drain cleaning operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Monday August 4 through Thursday August 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on Briley Pkwy eastbound at County Hospital Road in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Monday August 4 through Thursday August 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on Vietnam Veterans Blvd westbound at Mansker Creek in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open at all times.

 

Rutherford County

  • Thursday August 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 96, between Veterans Pkwy and SR 102 (Almaville Road) to replace a 24” cross drain.  One lane will be open at all times. Flaggers will be utilized.

 

Wilson County

  • Wednesday August 6 through Thursday August 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 109 southbound, between MM 13 and MM 14, for paving. Flaggers will be utilized.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • Thursday July 31 and Friday August 1, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures at Charlotte Pike and 31st Avenue in order for Metro Water and Sewer to connect to an existing water line.  One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
  • From now through Friday October 31,7PM–6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
