Executive Director of Nashville’s Urban Green Lab Is Nature @ Noontime Presenter

NASHVILLE --- Jennifer Tlumak, Executive Director of the Urban Green Lab in Nashville, will be the guest presenter for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s September Nature at Noontime. The program will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4 from noon-1 p.m. at the TWRA Region II Ray Bell Building.

A Nashville native, Jennifer’s experience includes work as an energy efficient analyst at the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C., as a climate change research fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. She has also worked with nonprofit organizations focused on justice, health and environment. She currently serves as a commissioner for the Nashville Greenways Commission. She also serves on the boards of the League of Women Voters of Nashville and Greenways for Nashville.

Hosted by the Information and Education Division, Nature @ Noontime is held the first Thursday of each month with the exception of July. TWRA Nature @ Noontime presentations are about natural resources related topics and last about 30-45 minutes, allowing time for discussion during the allotted lunch hour.
