BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through Saturday October 11, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
  • Monday September 8,  9PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound, from MM 189 to MM 191, in order to repair a pothole on the bridge deck. Troopers will be utilized.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad, Rivergate Pkwy, Long Hollow Pike, E Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek

  • Thursday September 4 and Monday September 8 through Wednesday September 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be lanes closures on I-65 southbound from MM 96 to MM 99 so that joint repairs, guardrail repairs, and milling may be done.
  • Friday September 5, 8PM through Monday September 8, 6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 northbound from MM 96 to MM 99 so that bridge repairs may be done. 
  • Tuesday September 9 through Wednesday September 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 northbound from MM 96 to MM 99 so that milling may be done.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 254 (Old Hickory Boulevard) over Otter Creek

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 254 in order to perform bridge work.  Flaggers will be utilized.

 

Look Ahead:

  • Friday September 12, 8PM through Monday September 15, 6AM, Old Hickory Boulevard will be closed between Chickering Road and Hillsboro Road in order to replace the bridge over Otter Creek.  Detours will be in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Interchange Lighting on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) at the Junction of Conference Drive

  • From now through Wednesday December 31, 7AM-4PM, There will be shoulder closures on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) at Conference Drive for installation of lighting.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 8PM-6AM, (including weekend), I-40 will be reduced to one lane in in both directions, from MM 135 to MM 148, in order to install bridge joints, striping and general cleanup. Troopers will be utilized.
  • Friday September 5, 8PM through Monday September 8, 6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 140 to MM 142, in order to perform bridge repairs.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations and utility relocation.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 50 from SR 99/James Campbell Blvd to the TS Railroad

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 50 for concrete work and milling operations.

 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on SR 25 over Honey Run Creek

  • Thursday September 4, 9AM-5PM, There will be lane closures on SR 25 in both directions over Honey Run Creek for removal of barrier rail.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench and bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday September 4 and Friday September 5, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 in both directions between MM 60.5 and MM 63 for milling and paving.

 

Look Ahead:

  • Friday September 19, 8PM through Monday September 22, 5AM, I-65 will be closed in each direction at MM 61.0 (SR 248/Peytonsville Road/Goose Creek Bypass) in order to take down and remove the existing bridge.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70 (SR 24) from Hartman Drive to Reed Street

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 24 for milling and paving.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 265 (Central Pike) from Davidson County Line to SR 171 (Mt Juliet Road)

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 8:30PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 265 for milling and paving operations.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Saturday September 6, 2AM-11PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 westbound at MM 60.6 (near SR 266 / West Jefferson Pike in Smyrna) to repair bridge ends.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Cheatham County

  • Tuesday September 9 through Thursday September 11, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound, from MM 187 to MM 190, in order to repair a pothole in the bridge deck.

 

Davidson County

  • Thursday September 4 through Wednesday September 10, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for drain cleaning operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday September 4, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures at the end of the SR 155 (White Bridge Road) on-ramp to I-40 eastbound for pavement repair.  One lane on the ramp will remain open at all times.

 

Hickman County

  • Tuesday September 9, 8PM-3AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound, between MM 150.7 and MM 152, in order to mill and pave the roadway.
  • September 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 46 southbound at MM 2.9 for milling & paving.

 

TDOT Traffic:

Bedford County

  • Wednesday September 10, 9AM-3PM, SR 64 will be closed for maintenance of the CSX Railroad crossing near SR 269 in Wartrace. Maintenance includes replacement of ties and surface track. Detours will be in place.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • Thursday September 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on SR 11 (Dickerson Pike) southbound at 620 North 1st Street in order to open-cut 6’x4’ to renew ¾” gas line.
  • Thursday September 4 through Friday September 12, 9AM–3PM, There will be shoulder work and temporary lane closures on SR 100, from Collins Road to Hester Beasley Road, in order for NES to perform oiling and switch maintenance and replace parts.
  • Thursday September 4 through Friday September 12, 9AM–3PM, There will be shoulder work and temporary lane closures on SR 11 (Dickerson Road), from Jefferson Street to Ridgetop, in order for NES to perform oiling and switch maintenance and replace parts.
  • Sunday September 7 through Tuesday September 30, 7PM–6AM, There will be lane closures in the 4000 block of SR 106 (Hillsboro Pike) in Green Hills in order for Jarrett Builders to install 8” water main, 10” & 8” sewer main, and two public fire hydrants.
  • Monday September 8 through Tuesday September 30, 7PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure in the 2000 block of SR 106 (Broadway) in order for NES to remove overhead aerial cable to be converted to underground due to construction.
  • Monday September 8, 9AM–3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 (Franklin Pike) at the Caldwell Lane intersection in order for Metro Water & Sewer to finish repairs on a water main & cleanup the work site.
  • From now through Friday September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder work and temporary lane closures on SR 112 (Clarksville Pike), from Westport Drive to Creasy Drive, in order for NES to perform oiling and switch maintenance.
  • From now through Friday October 31, 7PM–6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road), from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane, in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
