DYER COUNTY, SR-3:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Biffle Road to South of State Route 105. State Route 3 speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal. A signal system will be utilized. Speed limit has been reduced to 30 MPH. On January 5, 2015, State Route 104 over Jones Creek at was reduced to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-182:  State Route 182, bridge over Coon Creek is CLOSED. Detour route is posted.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday January 14 through Wednesday
January 21:
  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are open. The shoulders are closed on State Route 222.There will be possible lane closures for the duration of this project.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-193:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line to State Route 194.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-196:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from (US-64) State Route 15 to the junction of State Route 196 and Hickory Withe Road.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222:  A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line. State Route 385 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction. The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection. State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64):  A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at State Route 76 and I-40 at the weigh station.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-88:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Edith-Nankipoo Road to State Route 210. Detour route will be posted.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley. There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MCNAIRY COUNTY-SR-57:  A bridge replacement project will cause a reduction in lanes in both directions on State Route 57. Traffic is reduced to one lane, with a temporary signal, for duration of the project.

OBION COUNTY, SR-431:  Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the North Fork Obion River bridge to US-51 (State Route 3).

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:
Wednesday January 14
through Wednesday February 4: A lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound Exit 1 (to Riverside Drive and Front Street). Please note that the EXIT will remain open. It will just be a one-lane exit for a short duration and traffic exiting at this location can still go to either Riverside Drive or Front Street.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9:
Wednesday January 14 through Wednesday January 21:
Traffic on the Hernando DeSoto Bridge over the Mississippi River will continue to be reduced to two narrow lanes in both directions for over a mile through the work zone. Westbound traffic will be in two narrow lanes on the north side of the bridge. Eastbound traffic will be in two narrow lanes on the south side of the bridge. The work zone will be in the center of the bridge. Motorists are advised to slow down to 45 miles per hour through the shift.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River:
Wednesday January 14, 9:00 a. m.-10:00 a. m. & 12:00 p. m.-1:00 p. m.:
I-40 eastbound (MM 0.0 to MM 0.3) on the Mississippi River Bridge extending eastbound approximately a ¼ mile, 2 lane will possibly remain open, one lane will be closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday January 14 through Wednesday January 21:
I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. Currently there is paving in the median on I-40 east and west of the bridge. There are barrier rail placed on the westbound entrance ramps to I-40 but not impeding traffic. There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 05, there are transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road shifting from two lanes to one lane.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:

Sunday January 18 through Thursday January 22, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: Two left or two right lanes of eastbound and westbound I-240 will be CLOSED for the installation of final striping, painting of median glare screen and installation of pavement markers. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:

Summer Avenue: The right lane east and westbound is CLOSED in both directions, beginning just west of the existing I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue to allow for construction access.

Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Sam Cooper WB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange.

I-240:  There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange.  One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.

I-40 WB: The outside shoulder is closed from Sycamore View to the Wolf River Bridge for construction access.

Thursday January 15 & Friday January 16 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Saturday January 17 from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Monday January 19 - Wednesday January 21, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.

  • Summer Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction, beginning near the red light at White Station Road and extending to the red light at the existing Summer Avenue entrance ramps, for pouring the concrete bridge deck for the I-40 westbound bridge over Summer Avenue.

There will be temporary closures on sections of the interstate system. The closures are necessary as crews will be installing 20 additional beams on the new I-40 westbound flyover, in addition to restriping sections of I-240 West (southbound).

Saturday, January 17 at 6:30 a.m. through Sunday, January 18, at 5:30 p.m.
There will be CLOSURES at the following locations:

  • The left lane of I-240 East (northbound) at the I-40/I-240 interchange
  • Exit 12B on I-240 East (northbound)

Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18, 6:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m.
Two lanes will be closed intermittently across I-240 West (southbound) to allow crews to restripe pavement markings.

  • I-240 West (southbound) just south of the I-40/I-240 interchange extending to Walnut Grove (Exit 13),

Exit 13 will remain open

LOOK AHEAD:
Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25, 6:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m.

There will be a closure at the following for crews to install portable barrier rail for a shoulder closure:

  • The right lane of I-240 West (southbound) just south of I-40/I-240 interchange extending to Walnut Grove (Exit 13)

LOOK AHEAD:
Saturday, January 24 6:30 a.m. through Sunday, January 25 at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, January 31 6:30 a.m. through Sunday, February 1 at 5:30 p.m.

There will be CLOSURES at the following locations:

  • I-240 East (northbound) beginning at Exit 12C (northbound I-240 exit to go I-40 eastbound)
  • I-240 East (northbound) at Exit 12B to go westbound Sam Cooper
  • Sam Cooper westbound Exit 10B to go I-240 East (northbound)

All work is weather dependent.  Should inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances prevent this work from occurring as scheduled, it will be rescheduled. SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1 (US-51): Wednesday January 14 through Wednesday January 21: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61): bridge repair project on State Route14 over I-55 and on South Parkway West over I-55.

Wednesday January 14 through Wednesday February 4: The northbound and southbound shoulders are closed for expansion joint repairs.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61): installation of cantilever signs on State Route 14

Monday January 19 through Thursday January 23, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: The southbound shoulder will be closed at Raleigh-Millington/Austin Peay “On” ramp to southbound State Route 14 to install footing and supports.

Monday January 19 through Thursday January 23, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: The southbound right lane/shoulder will be closed at Raleigh-Millington/Austin Peay “On” ramp to southbound State Route 14 to install footing and supports.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72): Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:
Wednesday January 14
through Wednesday January 21: There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits to Stout Road. The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Loosahatchie River. Traffic is reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane; a twelve (12’) lane will be maintained in each direction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

Wednesday January 14 through Wednesday January 21: Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Memphis-Arlington Road & Hall Creek. A traffic shift will cause traffic to move on both east and westbound bridges.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair and Concrete Barrier Rail Wednesday January 14 through Wednesday January 21: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4 Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint: Wednesday January 14 through Wednesday January 21: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday January 14
through Wednesday January 21, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis. Weather Permitting.
