BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Overhead Sign on I-65 South at Fern Street

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be a left shoulder closure on I-65 southbound just past the Fern Street overpass to drill for overhead sign.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Pedestrian Crosswalk Bridge Repair over I-40 near 2nd Avenue

  • Friday January 23, 9PM through Monday January 26, 5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 in both directions, between MM 210 and MM 211, for work on the pedestrian bridge.  Two lanes will remain open westbound and one lane will remain open eastbound. The entrance ramp to I-40 from 2nd Avenue will be closed. Detour signs will be in place.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pull box installation and conduit proving/repairs.

 

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS Expansion Project

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 203 (near Briley Pkwy, White Bridge Road exit) to install a CCTV lowering device and camera.
  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 203 (near Briley Pkwy, White Bridge Road exit) to install a CCTV lowering device and camera.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Removal & Replacement of HOV Signing & Thermoplastic Markings on Various Interstates

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on all I-24 on-ramps from SR 255 (Harding Place) to SR 231 (Shelbyville Hwy).
  • Saturday January 31, 7AM-5PM, There will be a shoulder closure on all I-24 on-ramps from SR 255 (Harding Place) to SR 231 (Shelbyville Hwy).

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations and utility relocation.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on US 41A (SR 112) from McAdoo Creek Road to East of SR 76

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 41A near Sango Road for conduit installation.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during construction operations as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 1PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 in both directions, between MM 61 and MM 63, for blasting.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Widening of I-40 from East of SR 109 to East of SR 840

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-4PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in order to execute soil borings in the median between the two lanes of traffic.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday January 22, 8PM-12AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound, between MM 69.3 and MM 69.7, and on Exit 69 (Moores Lane) in Williamson County for attenuator work and drain cleaning along the wall, between the ramp and main line. Three lanes will remain open on I-65 and one lane will remain open on the exit ramp.

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Davidson County

  • Thursday January 22 through Wednesday January 28, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for drain cleaning operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

 

Wilson County

  • Wednesday January 21 through Friday January 23, 9AM-3PM, The will be a lane closure on I-40 in both directions, from the Davidson County line to MM 235 (SR 840 exit) for barrier wall cleaning.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Thursday January 29, 7PM to 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures across SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) at Cobblestone Creek Drive in order for Walland Services to open-cut approximately 21’ for an 8” water main.
  • From now through Friday March 20, 7PM to 6AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd), from 32nd Street to 26th Street, in the City of Lakewood in order for SBW Constructors to install new sewer services.
  • Monday January 26 through Friday February 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closure on US 431 (SR 106/Hillsboro Pike) from Burton Hill Blvd to Stanford Drive in order for NES to do maintenance work oiling, operating switches, and replacing parts.

 

Miscellaneous Non-TDOT Projects

HCA 

  • From now through Wednesday April 29, 2015, 6AM, 10AM and/or 2PM, The on-ramp to I-40 westbound from Charlotte Avenue (downtown) will be closed for 5-10 minutes for blasting operations in the area. This will occur weekly, Tuesdays through Saturdays.

 

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.  Information in this report is provided to the Department of Transportation by the contractors.  Most work is weather dependent and subject to change due to inclement weather.
