BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
  • Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3 AND Saturday May 9 and Sunday May 10, 5AM-5PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 in both directions at MM 190.0 in order to place bridge beams. Operation will occur in 30 minute intervals. Troopers will be utilized. (weather dependent)

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-24 (Silliman Evans Bridge) over the Cumberland River

  • Friday May 1, 8PM through Monday May 4, 5AM, There will be two lanes closed on I-24 eastbound at MM 50 (Silliman Evans Bridge) for repair work. Two lanes will remain open. The Shelby Ave ramp to I-24 eastbound will also be closed.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike

  • Thursday April 30, 9PM-12AM, There will be a lane closure on the ramp from I-65 North to I-24 West in order to restripe the roadway and shift traffic to left side of ramp.
  • Friday May 1, 9PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on the ramp from Vietnam Veterans Blvd (SR 386) to I-65 southbound to allow for the installation of noise wall panels.
  • Monday May 4 through Friday May 8, 9PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on the ramp from Vietnam Veterans Blvd (SR 386) to I-65 southbound to allow for the installation of noise wall panels.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday, May 6, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pole installation, electrical service work, fiber optic cabling installation, and conduit installation/proving/repairs.
  • Thursday April 30, 8PM- 6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 in both directions near MM 65 (between Waldron Road and Sam Ridley Pkwy) and near MM 77 (between Medical Center Pkwy and Hwy 96) in order to remove portable barrier wall and portable impact attenuators.
  • Friday May 1, 8PM through Monday May 4, 5AM, There will be a single lane closure on I-24 eastbound near MM 65 (between Waldron Road and Sam Ridley Pkwy) in order to work on proposed overhead sign structure footing in median barrier wall. 
  • Friday May 1, 8PM through Saturday May 2, 12PM, There will be a double lane closure on I-24 westbound near MM 65 (between Waldron Road and Sam Ridley Pkwy) in order to excavate for proposed overhead sign structure footing in median barrier wall.
  • Saturday May 2, 12PM through Monday May 4, 5AM, There will be a single lane closure on I-24 westbound near MM 65 (between Waldron Road and Sam Ridley Pkwy) in order to pour the proposed overhead sign structure footing in median barrier wall.
  • Monday May 4, through Tuesday May 5, 8PM- 6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 in both directions near MM 65 (between Waldron Road and Sam Ridley Pkwy) in order to work on median barrier wall footing.
  • Wednesday May 6, through Thursday May 7, 8PM- 6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 in both directions near MM 58 (between Haywood Lane and Bell Road) and near MM 65 (between Waldron Road and Sam Ridley Pkwy) in order to remove portable barrier wall and portable impact attenuators.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Removal & Replacement of HOV Signing & Thermoplastic Markings on Various Interstates

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekend), There will be a shoulder closure on I-24, including on-ramps, from the Davidson County line to SR 231 (Shelbyville Hwy) for HOV sign installation.
  • Saturday May 2, 7AM-5PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 in both directions from Briley Pkwy (SR 155) to Old Hickory Blvd (SR 171) to install HOV mainline signage.

 

LEWIS COUNTY, Repair of Roadway Slope on SR 99

  • From now through May 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane on SR 99 westbound near Natchez Trace (LM 22-22.5) in order to perform slope work.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations and utility relocation.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, OGFC Pavement Repair from South of Honey Run Creek to North of Highland Road

  • Thursday April 30 through Friday May 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions, between MM 114 and MM 117, for milling operations and full-depth pavement repair.
  • Saturday May 2, 6AM-2PM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 northbound, from MM 114 to MM 117, in order to install underdrain.
  • Sunday May 3 through Tuesday May 5, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions, between MM 114 to MM 117, for milling operations and full-depth pavement repair.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound from MM 97 to MM 99 and northbound from MM 101 to MM 102 for trenching and conduit installation.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, and Burton Street for underground utility crossings.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-24 from East of SR 840 to Stones River Bridge

  • Sunday May 3 through Wednesday May 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions, from MM 75 to MM 79, in order to mill the roadway. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. 

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Signal Installation on US 31 E (SR 6/Main Street) at SR 25 (River Road)

  • Wednesday April 29 through Wednesday May 6, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on US 31E (SR 6/Main Street) and Red River Road (SR 25) in Gallatin for installation of traffic signal conduits.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Extension of Concrete Box Bridge on SR 109

  • From now through June 2015, Traffic will be reduced from two (2) lanes to one (1) lane on SR 109 northbound (S Broadway) at Jackson Road in Portland for concrete box bridge work. One lane will remain open. Message boards are in place.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during construction operations as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 1 PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 in both directions between MM 61 and MM 63 for blasting.
  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures on Goose Creek Bypass to prepare for sidewalk placement behind the curb. Flaggers will be utilized.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 from MM 30 to MM 34 for trenching and conduit installation.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Davidson County

  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for sweeping operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday April 30 through Wednesday May 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound between MM 201 (US 70/Charlotte Pike) and MM 204 (SR 155/Briley Parkway) for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 155 (Briley Parkway) westbound, between MM 24.0 (Cumberland River Bridge) and MM 26.0 (Centennial Blvd), for milling and paving. One lane will remain open. Message boards and state troopers will be utilized.
  • Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 155 (Briley Parkway) in both directions, between MM 22.6 (SR 12) and MM 26.4 (James Ave overpass), for milling and paving. One lane will remain open. Message boards and state troopers will be utilized.
  • Sunday May 3 through Thursday May 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 in both directions, between Demonbruen Ave and Jefferson Street, for drain cleaning. Two lanes will remain open.
  • Tuesday May 5 through Wednesday May 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure I-40 eastbound near MM 223 for shoulder work. Three lanes will remain open.

 

Williamson County

  • From now through Thursday April 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 96 westbound, near the intersection of Royal Oaks Blvd, in order to install a new curb inlet drain for stormwater.

Davidson County

  • Thursday April 30 through Tuesday May 5, 9AM–3PM, (excluding weekend), There will be lane closure on SR-6 (Main Street) westbound at the bridge over Mansker Creek near the Davidson-Summer County Line in order for Piedmont Gas to install two-part coating to pipeline, replace support hangers, and install new Dielectric shields around each hanger.
  • Sunday May 3, 6AM–8AM, There will be two rolling stop blocks on SR 155 (Briley Parkway) at MM 4.37 (Murfreesboro Pike/Exit 4) in order for XO Communications to over lash an existing strand.
  • Tuesday May 5 through Thursday May 7, 7PM–6AM, (excluding weekend), There will be a lane closure on SR 155 (White Bridge Pike) in both directions, north of Lenox Ave, in order for SAK Construction to access to manholes and repair a sewer line.
  • From now through Thursday April 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 6 (Gallatin Ave) northbound at Douglas Ave in order for NES to replace two poles and conductors.
  • From now through Monday May 11, 7PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 431 (21st Ave South) northbound, from Westwood Ave North to Beechwood Ave, in order for Middle Tennessee Infrastructure Co to install 12” water main and one Fire Hydrant Assembly.
