BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
  • Thursday May 21, 12AM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions in order to pour a diaphragm.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 at Charlotte Avenue, Johnston Avenue, Clinton Street, and Herman Street

  • From now through September 2015, 7AM-5PM, There will be a lane closure on 12th Avenue northbound, including the sidewalk and bike lane, to allow worker access to the median of I-40. 

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, and Paving of I-40 West Exit Ramp at Church Street

  • Thursday May 21, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 in both directions near MM 209 in order to remove portable barrier wall and portable impact attenuators.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike

  • Thursday May 21, 9PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound at Old Hickory Blvd (SR 45) in Madison in order to set barrier rail.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday, May 27, 9AM–3PM (excluding holiday weekend),There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pole installation, electrical service work, fiber optic cabling installation, and conduit installation/proving/repairs.
  • Thursday, May 21 through Wednesday, May 27, 8PM–6AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be a lane closure on I-24 eastbound at the following locations to allow for standing of CCTV poles.
    • Exit 64 Waldron Road
    • MM 66 to MM 67 (near Sam Ridley Pkwy)
    • Exit 80 SR 99/ New Salem Road
    • Exit 84A Joe B Jackson Pkwy

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Removal & Replacement of HOV Signing & Thermoplastic Markings on Various Interstates

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be a shoulder closure on I-24, including on-ramps, from the Davidson County line to SR 231 (Shelbyville Hwy) for HOV sign installation.

 

LEWIS COUNTY, Repair of Roadway Slope on SR 99

  • From now through May 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane on SR 99 westbound near Natchez Trace (LM 22-22.5) in order to perform slope work.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 7AM-5PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations and utility relocation.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Pavement Repair on I-65 from South of Honey Run Creek to North of Highland Road

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 8PM-6AM (excluding holiday weekend),  There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions, from MM 114 to MM 117, in order to underdrain installation, milling, and paving.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound from MM 97 to MM 99 and northbound from MM 97 to MM 102 for trenching and conduit installation.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday May 21, 11PM-6AM, and Wednesday May 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Broad Street (SR 1), College Street, and Burton Street for potential underground utility crossings. One lane will remain open in each direction. NOTE: Broadmor Blvd is closed to through traffic until further notice, as utility work continues.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-24 from East of SR 840 to Stones River Bridge

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 8PM-6AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions, from MM 75 to MM 79, in order to mill and pave the roadway. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 8PM-6AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be lane closures on Medical center Parkway at the I-24 interchange in order to remove and replace handicap ramps. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on SR 258 (New Shackle Island Road) at Intersection of Stop Thirty Road and Old Shackle Island Road

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend),  There will be a temporary, intermittent lane closure on New Shackle Road at Stop Thirty Road to allow trucks hauling material to enter the roadway. Flaggers will be used.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 31E (SR 6) at SR 25

  • From now through June 2015, SR 25 (Red River Road) southbound will be closed from Blythe Avenue to US 31E (SR 6) in Gallatin for construction of new turn lane and installation of storm drains. Detours are in place.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Extension of Concrete Box Bridge on SR 109

  • From now through June 2015, Traffic will be reduced from two (2) lanes to one (1) lane on SR 109 northbound (S Broadway) at Jackson Road in Portland for concrete box bridge work. One lane will remain open. Message boards are in place.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), Traffic will be flagged during construction operations as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 from MM 30 to MM 34 for trenching and conduit installation.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 9AM-3PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 8PM-5AM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Davidson County

  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 8PM-5AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be mobile operations in various locations for sweeping operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29, 7PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway (SR 155) in both directions, between Ashland City Highway (SR 12) and Centennial Blvd in order for milling and paving. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday May 21 through Wednesday May 27, 8PM–6AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures on all interstates in middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis.

 

TDOT Region 3 Survey

Davidson County

  • Wednesday May 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on the I-440 eastbound exit ramp to I-24 East for survey work. All lanes of traffic will remain open.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • Wednesday May 27 through Friday May 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR-6 (Gallatin Road) westbound at the bridge over Mansker Creek in order for Piedmont Gas to install two-part coating to pipeline, replace support hangers, and install new dielectric shields around hangers.
