BENTON COUNTY, I-40: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Decatur County line to west of State Route 191.

Sunday, May 31 through Thursday, June 4, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 east and westbound mile marker 126 to 133 for milling, paving operations and joint work. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-69:  Miscellaneous safety improvements on State Route 69A from Reynoldsburg Road to Cedar Grove Road will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, with flagmen, for the installation of guardrail.

CHESTER and MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-5: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the McNairy County line south of Russon Drive through Chester County to the Madison County line.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal. A signal system is being utilized. Speed limit has been reduced to 30 MPH. On January 5, 2015, State Route 104 over Jones Creek, traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  State Route 104, bridge over the Obion River is CLOSED. Detour route will be posted.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday, May 28 through Wednesday, June 3:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are open. The shoulders are closed on State Route 222.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222:  A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line. State Route 385 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction. The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection. State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-125:  Miscellaneous safety improvements between Maxwell Road and Baker Hill Lane will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, with flagmen, for installation of high friction treatment to the asphalt roadway.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64):  A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-142:  Miscellaneous safety improvements from State Route 57 to the Mississippi State Line will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at State Route 76 and I-40 at the weigh station.

Tuesday, May 26 through Thursday May 28, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 east and westbound and also inside/outside shoulders from mile marker 49 to 51 for installation of thermoplastic. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Tuesday, May 26 through Thursday May 28, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound at Exit 56 from mile marker 55 to 57 for installation of thermoplastic. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, May 28, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 westbound at mile marker 52 for installation of thermoplastic. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Sunday, May 31, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 westbound mile marker 49-51 for repairing asphalt at various locations. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

HENDERSON COUNTY, I-40: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of State Route 104 to west of State Route 22.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-20: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from east of Thomas Rd. to west of State Route 114.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley. There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MADISON COUNTY, I-40: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, fromwest of Lower Brownsville Road to west of US-412 (State Route 20).
Sunday, May 31 through Wednesday, June 3, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 east and westbound mile marker 74 to 79 for milling, paving operations and joint work. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

MCNAIRY COUNTY-SR-57:  A bridge replacement project will cause a reduction in lanes in both directions on State Route 57 over Cypress Creek. Traffic is reduced to one lane, with a temporary signal, for duration of the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:
Wednesday, May 27
through Wednesday, June 3: A lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound Exit 1 to Riverside Drive and Front Street. The EXIT will remain open. It will only be a one-lane exit for a short duration and traffic exiting at this location can still go to either Riverside Drive or Front Street.

Wednesday, May 27 through Wednesday, June 3: A lane will be closed on the I-40 westbound entrance ramp from Front Street. The ON RAMP will remain open for a single lane westbound access to the bridge. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, May 27
through Wednesday, June 3:
I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. Currently there is dirt work, cross drains, head walls, laying and backfilling storm sewer pipes and water lines, driving piling, retaining wall work, erosion and traffic control maintenance. There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. On December 5, 2014, there were transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road shifting from two lanes to one lane.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:
Wednesday, May 27
through Wednesday, June 03: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:

Summer Avenue: The right westbound lane is CLOSED, beginning just west of the existing I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue to allow for construction access.

Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Sam Cooper WB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange.

I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.

I-40 WB: The outside shoulder is closed from Sycamore View to the Wolf River Bridge for construction access.

Wednesday May 27 through Friday May 29 and Sunday May 31 through Tuesday June 2, each night from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

  • I-240 westbound between Sam Cooper Boulevard and Walnut Grove Road will have 2 lanes closed for construction activities.

Thursday May 28, Friday May 29 and Monday June 1 through Wednesday June 3, each week day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Covington Pike will be down to one lane in each direction at I-40 for bridge work.

Saturday May 30 and Sunday May 31 from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • I-40 westbound ramp to Little Rock will be closed for a deck pour on the new I-40 eastbound flyover. Detour will be signed for Walnut Grove Exit.

Sunday May 31 through Tuesday June 2 from 8 :00 p.m. to 6 :00 a.m. are back up dates.

Thursday May 28, Friday May 29, Monday June 1 through Wednesday June 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Ramp at I-240 EB to Sam Cooper will be closed for deck pour on the new I-40 westbound flyover. Detour will be signed for Covington Pike Interchange. These serve as back up dates for a scheduled closure occurring on Wednesday May 27.

Saturday May 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

  • I-40 left lane will be closed in each direction at Covington Pike for Overhead Sign Foundations.

The work is weather dependent. Should inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances prevent this work from occurring as scheduled, it will be rescheduled.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. April 27, 2015 through May 11, 2016, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a. m. there will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until May 2016.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Miscellaneous safety improvements including resurfacing on State Route 14 from State Route 204 to the Tipton County line and miscellaneous safety improvements on State Route 14 from State Route 384 to State Route 59 will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72): Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:
Wednesday, May 27 through
Wednesday, June 03: There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits to Stout Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Loosahatchie River. Traffic is reduced to one north and one southbound lane; a twelve (12’) lane will be maintained in each direction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Memphis-Arlington Road & Hall Creek. A traffic shift will cause traffic to move on both east and westbound bridges.

There will be temporary lane closures on State Route 385 eastbound left lane from log mile 9.5 to log mile 7.3 & westbound from log mile 6.2 to log mile 8.3 in order to drive piling and expansion joint repair on the 4 bridges located at log mile 7.2 left and right (Hall Creek) & log mile 8.5 left and right (Memphis-Arlington Road). There will be closures beginning April 13, 2015 thru completion of construction on the both lanes of the bridges on State Route 385 over Hall Creek and Memphis-Arlington Road eastbound and westbound lanes. Beginning April 21, there will be lane closures on the eastbound lane of State Route 385 on the Memphis-Arlington bridge until completion of the project.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair and Concrete Barrier Rail Wednesday, May 27 through Wednesday, June 3: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4 Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint Wednesday, May 27 through Wednesday, June 3: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4 Longitudinal Joint Stabilization
Sunday, June 7 through Thursday June 11, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:
There will be temporary lane closures in Shelby County on I-240 east and westbound from east of I-55  to Horn Lake Road, Ramp 8B, for application of jointbond for longitudinal joint stabilization. One lane will remain open. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

TDOT REGION 4 Miscellaneous Safety Improvements Using High Friction Surface Treatment on Various State Routes

Friday, May 29, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, June 1, 6:00 a. m.: There will be lane closures east and westbound on State Route 385 in Shelby County at Byhalia Road. One lane will remain open at all times.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, May 27 Through Wednesday, June 3, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m
: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis. Weather Permitting.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-59: Miscellaneous safety improvements will cause “rolling roadblocks” from State Route 178 log mile 8.66 to State Route 3 log mile18.99.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22:  Monday, May 11 through Friday, July 31: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 217 to the ramp from State Route 431.
