Saving Tennessee’s Beautiful Landscapes Subject for May Nature @ Noontime Program

NASHVILLE --- Christie Peterson, from the Tennessee Parks and Greenways Foundation, will be the featured speaker for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s May Nature @ Noontime.

The program will be held on Thursday, May 7 from noon-1 p.m. at the TWRA’s Region II Ray Bell Building located in the Ellington Agriculture Complex.

Christie Peterson is the Land Conservation Coordinator for the Tennessee Parks and Greenways Foundation (TennGreen). Her main responsibilities include land acquisitions, land donations, and private land conservation through conservation easements. Her program will focus on “Working to save some of Tennessee’s beautiful landscapes.”

Hosted by the Information and Education Division, Nature @ Noontime is held the first Thursday of each month. TWRA Nature @ Noontime presentations are about natural resources related topics and last about 30-45 minutes, allowing time for discussion during the allotted lunch hour.
