BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 at Charlotte Avenue, Johnston Avenue, Clinton Street, and Herman Street

  • From now through September 2015, 7AM-5PM, There will be a lane closure on 12th Avenue northbound, including the sidewalk and bike lane, to allow worker access to the median of I-40. 

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike

  • From Monday June 8 through Friday July 31, Ewing Drive will be closed from Hillhurst Drive to Richmond Hills Drive for bridge construction. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Tuesday June 16 through Wednesday, June 17, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pole installation, electrical service work, fiber optic cabling installation, conduit installation/proving/repairs, and staging of overhead sign structures.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Removal & Replacement of HOV Signing & Thermoplastic Markings on Various Interstates

  • Tuesday June 16 through Wednesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24, including on-ramps, from the Davidson County line to SR 231 (Shelbyville Hwy) for HOV sign installation.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday June 11 through Wednesday June 17, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations and utility relocation.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on SR 237 over I-24 (Exit 8)

  • Saturday June 13, 7AM-5PM, and Sunday June 14, 7AM to 12 Noon, There will be a lane closure on I-24 westbound at MM 8.0 for bridge construction, including installation of metal deck panels on SR 237.  The alternate truck lane will also be closed at this location.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Pavement Repair on I-65 from South of Honey Run Creek to North of Highland Road

  • Wednesday June 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 northbound, from MM 114 to MM 117, for paving operations.
  • Sunday June 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 southbound, from MM 114 to MM 117, for paving operations.
  • Monday June 15 through Wednesday June 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions, from MM 114 to MM 117, for paving operations.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday June 11 through Wednesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound from MM 97 to MM 104 and northbound from MM 97 to MM 104 for trenching and conduit installation.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday June 11 through Wednesday June 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Broad Street (SR 1), College Street, and Burton Street for potential underground utility crossings. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Intersection Improvements on SR 96 at Market Place

  • Thursday June 11 through Wednesday June 17, 8PM–6AM (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 near the Market Place intersection in order to pave the roadway and install loops. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-24 from East of SR 840 to Stones River Bridge

  • Monday June 15 through Wednesday June 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions, from MM 74 to MM 79, in order to pave the roadway and install signal loops. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on SR 25 at Intersection of Upper Ferry Road, Myer Street, and SR 53 (Gordonsville Highway)

  • Thursday June 11 through Wednesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 25 near the Upper Ferry Road/Myer Street/Gordonsville Hwy intersection in Carthage in order to install wood pole for the advanced radar detection system.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on SR 258 (New Shackle Island Road) at Intersection of Stop Thirty Road and Old Shackle Island Road

  • Thursday June 11 through Wednesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be a temporary, intermittent lane closure on New Shackle Road at Stop Thirty Road to allow trucks hauling material to enter the roadway. Flaggers will be utilized.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 31E (SR 6) from North of SR 52 to the Kentucky State line  

  • Monday June 15 through Friday June 19, 7AM-5PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6 in both directions, from north of SR 52 in Westmoreland to the Kentucky State line, for milling operations.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Maury County line to North of SR 840  

  • Sunday June 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 northbound from MM 53 to MM 59.5 for milling operations. At least one lane will remain open at all times.
  • Tuesday June 16 and Wednesday June 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound from MM 59.5 to MM 53 for milling operations. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday June 11 through Wednesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during construction operations as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday June 11 through Wednesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 from MM 30 to MM 34 for trenching and conduit installation.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 109 from North of SR 24 to the Cumberland River Bridge  

  • Tuesday June 16 through Friday June 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 for milling and paving operations.

  • Tuesday June 16 through Wednesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Tuesday June 16 through Wednesday June 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:

  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

  • Thursday June 11 through Wednesday June 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for sweeping operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday June 11, 9AM-3PM AND 7PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway (SR 155) in both directions, between Ashland City Highway (SR 12) and Centennial Blvd, in order for milling and paving. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Monday June 15 through Wednesday June 17, 7PM-5AM,  There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway (SR 155) in both directions, between Ashland City Highway (SR 12) and Centennial Blvd, in order for milling and paving. One lane will remain open in each direction.

  • Tuesday June 16 through Wednesday June 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Korean Veteran’s Blvd over the Cumberland River for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

TDOT Region 3 Survey

Davidson County

  • Thursday June 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on the I-440 eastbound exit ramp to I-24 East for survey work. All lanes will remain open.

Davidson County

  • From now through Monday August 31, 7PM–6AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) northbound, from 26th Street to Hadley Ave in the Lakewood community in order for Cumberland Valley Construction to install 16” transmission water line.
  • From now through Friday June 12, 9AM–3PM, There will be lane closure on SR 11 (Nolensville Road) northbound, in the 2100, 2600, and 3000 block, in order for Piedmont Gas to retire three service lines.
  • From now through Friday June 12, 9AM–3PM, There will be a lane closure on Highway 100 westbound, in the 8200 block near Chaffin’s Dinner Theatre, in order for NES to perform maintenance repair.
  • Monday June 15 through Saturday June 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 11 (Nolensville Road), near Walsh Avenue, in order for Bechtel Infrastructure-Google Fiber to bore under the roadway.
  • Monday June 15 through Saturday June 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road), between Fesslers Lane and Expressway Park Drive, in order for Bechtel Infrastructure-Google Fiber to perform boring and potholing operations.
  • Monday June 15 through Saturday June 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 24 (Charlotte Avenue), between American Road and 10th Avenue North, in order for Bechtel Infrastructure-Google Fiber to perform boring and potholing operations.
  • Monday June 15 through Saturday June 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 31 (8th Avenue South) westbound, between Palmer Place and Olympic Ave, in order for Bechtel Infrastructure-Google Fiber to perform staging vehicles, dumping spoils, boring, and potholing operations.

City of Brentwood / Stansell Electric

  • ThursdayJune 11 through Wednesday June 17, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6 (Franklin Road), from South of Chadwick Drive to Executive Center Drive in Brentwood, to install drilled shaft foundations.
