State Employee Reps Election Results

From May 6-24, 2019, state employees had the opportunity to elect their representatives on boards that oversee their insurance benefits and retirement.

Benefits Administration, the division of Finance & Administration that oversees the State Group Insurance Program, asked state employees to elect two state employee representatives to serve three-year terms on the State Insurance Committee.

Here are the certified results from the Department of Treasury for the election of two state employee representatives for the term July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022. The election was handled electronically through ElectionsOnline.com. The top two vote-getters are:

  • Vicki Burton – Department of Children’s Services
  • Michelle Consiglio-Young – Administrative Office of the Courts

3,946 state employees cast ballots, up 26 percent from 2016.
