46 Trooper Cadets to Graduate to Become State Troopers

Formal Inspection of Trooper Cadets to be Held Prior to Graduation

NASHVILLE – 46 trooper cadets will earn their badges in a graduation ceremony tomorrow at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church.  Commissioner David W. Purkey of the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security will serve as the keynote speaker at the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) cadet graduation ceremony. 

Prior to graduation, Commissioner David W. Purkey, THP Colonel Tracy Trott and the THP Command Staff will conduct a formal inspection of the trooper cadets at 8:00 a.m. (CST) at the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security Training Center, located at 283 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37214.  Media are welcomed to attend both the formal inspection and cadet graduation ceremony.
