Tennessee Highway Patrol Seizes Drugs Bound For West Tennessee

JACKSON, TENN. --- January 23, 2020, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, working in conjunction with the Tennessee 24th Judicial District Drug Task Force, initiated a traffic stop on a commercial vehicle traveling in Madison County, Tennessee.

The traffic stop ultimately resulted in the seizure of 20 kilograms of a substance suspected to be methamphetamine. The substance was destined for rural West Tennessee.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
