BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

From now through December 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 at Charlotte Avenue, Johnston Avenue, Clinton Street, and Herman Street

From now through Monday October 26, 8PM-6AM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between Clinton Avenue and Charlotte Avenue, for bridge replacement prep, barrier wall operations, milling operations, and bridge work. One lane will remain open.
Friday October 9, 8PM through Monday October 12, 6AM, All lanes of I-40 along the Nashville downtown loop will be closed, from the I-40/I-65 split west of downtown to the I-40/I-65 split south of downtown, for bridge repairs. Detours will be in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike

Thursday October 7, 9PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on the ramp from SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) onto I-65 South to erect light poles.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 100 from the Williamson County line to Temple Road

Monday October 12 through Wednesday October 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 100 for resurfacing. Traffic will be flagged.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24, from MM 58 (Haywood Lane) to MM 85 (Joe B Jackson Pkwy), in order to perform integration testing.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 7AM-5PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 northbound at MM 93.6 for trenching, boring and conduit installation.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Construction of New Interchange on I-65 at SR 109 and US 31W

Sunday October 11, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions near MM 119 in order to set barrier walls.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 and SR 1 for construction activities. One lane will remain open in each direction. Additionally, Broadmoor Boulevard will be closed to through traffic until further notice in order to perform utility crossings.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Ramp Improvements at Interchange of I-24 East and Exit 81A (US 231/SR 10/Church Street)

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 231 (Church Street) southbound to allow for shoulder and ramp work, placement of barrier rail, and shifting the traffic alignment. At least one lane will remain open.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 96 from Veterans Pkwy to the Williamson County line

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14 (excluding weekends), 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 in both directions for guardrail and paving operations. Traffic will be flagged.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70N (SR 24) from Profitt Street to Arnold Lane

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 7AM-5PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on US 70N (Lebanon Hwy) for paving operations.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 52 from Jackson Road to East of Harper Road

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 9AM-3PM (excluding Saturday & Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 52 in Portland for paving operations.
Saturday October 10, 6AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 52 for paving operations.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures on Concord Road for construction operations. Traffic will be flagged as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 9PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, from MM 28 to MM 35, for bridge conduit installation.
Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 eastbound at MM 30 (SR 431) for bridge conduit installation.
Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 northbound at MM 76 (between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place) and MM 67 (near McEwen Drive) for conduit and pull box installation.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Drainage and Pavement Repair on I-40 East at Mile Marker 226

Thursday October 8 and Friday October 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on I-40 eastbound near MM 226 for trench drain installation and paving operations.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Interchange Lighting at I-40 and SR 171 (Mt Juliet Road)  

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in order to install underground conduit, pull boxes, and pole foundations. All lanes will remain open.
Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 8PM–6AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions at Exit 226, including the I-40 westbound on-ramp from Mt Juliet Road, in order to install high mast poles and foundations and to install under-bridge lighting. At least one lane will remain open in each direction on the interstate and on-ramp.
Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 8PM–6AM, There will be lane closures on the I-40 eastbound off-ramps to Exit 226B and 226C in order to install under-bridge lighting. At least one ramp lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 70 (SR 24) at Blair Lane

Thursday October 8 through Wednesday October 14, 8AM-5PM, There will be lane closures on US 70 (W Main Street) in both directions at the intersection of Blair Lane in Lebanon for signal installation work.

Tuesday October 13 through Wednesday October 14, 7AM-5PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on Central Pike between Mt Juliet and Lebanon for paving operations.

Wednesday October 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Stewarts Ferry Pike over I-40 for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

Tuesday October 13 through Wednesday October 14, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closure on Epps Mill Road over I-24 for milling and paving operations. Traffic will be flagged.

Thursday October 8 through Monday October 12, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be shoulder closures on I-40 westbound, from MM 256.1 to MM 255.8 in Smith County, in order to install signs. All travel lanes will remain open.
Thursday October 8 through Monday October 12, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be shoulder closures on I-40 off-ramps to Exit 254 (SR 141/Alexandria) in Smith County in order to install signs.  All travel lanes will remain open.

 

Wilson County

Thursday October 8 through Monday October 12, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be shoulder closures on I-40 eastbound, from MM 252.6 to MM 252.9 in Wilson County, in order to install signs. All travel lanes will remain open.

From now through Thursday October 16, 8PM–5AM, There will be lane closures along SR 11 (Nolensville Pike) in the 2000 block in order for Metro Water Services to renew approximately 30 water service locations.
Monday October 12 through Friday October 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) eastbound, between 22nd Street and 26th Street in the City of Lakewood, in order for Metro Water Services to line a sewer main.
Monday October 12 through Friday October 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 11 (Dickerson Pike) eastbound, from Pine Ridge Drive to Hart Lane, in order for Metro Water Services to install 8” water main.

 

Montgomery and Robertson Counties

From now through November 2015, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 76 eastbound, between Port Royal Road and Harmony Church Road in the city of Adams, in order for Cumberland Electric Membership Corp to place aerial cable at several locations.

 

Williamson County

Saturday October 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 106 (Lewisburg Pike) at Donelson Creek Pkwy (Sullivan Farms Community) in order for the City of Franklin to tie-in to existing water main. One lane will remain open.

From now through Friday October 9, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be lane closures on SR 106 (Hillsboro Road), from south of Black Horse Pkwy to Poteat Place, for drilling and blasting work.
