BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
Monday November 23 and Tuesday November 24, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 westbound at MM 190.0 in order to grind the bridge deck. Queue trucks and troopers will be utilized.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

From now through December 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 7AM-5PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 in both directions, between MM 93.6 and MM 110, for pull box installation.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for construction activities. One lane will remain open in each direction. Additionally, Broadmoor Boulevard will be closed to through traffic until further notice in order to perform utility crossings.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 31E (SR 6) at SR 25

Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be intersection lane closures at US 31E and SR 25 for crosswalk pavement marking installation.

 

TROUSDALE COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 260 over Little Goose Creek

From now through July 2016, SR 260 will be closed at the bridge over Little Goose Creek (LM 5.58) for bridge repair work. Detours will be in place.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 46 (Pinewood Road) from South of Moore Road to Green Chapel Road

Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 9AM-3PM, There will a lane closure on SR 46 for joint repair. Flaggers will be utilized.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures on Concord Road for construction operations. Traffic will be flagged as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 9PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, from MM 28 to MM 38, for bridge conduit and pull box installation.
Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 9PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound between MM 65 and MM 66 (near SR 96) and at the McEwen ramp (Exit 67) for conduit installation.
Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 northbound, from MM 76 (between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place) to MM 56 (between Saturn Pkwy and SR 840), for conduit and pull box installation.
Sunday November 22 and Monday November 23, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions at MM 76.8 (between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place) for boring under the interstate. At least two lanes will remain open in each direction.

Davidson County

Thursday November 19 through Wednesday November 25, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for sweeping operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
Thursday November 19 through Monday November 23, 9AM–3PM (excluding weekend), There will be a shoulder closure on SR 155 (Briley Pkwy) northbound near SR 24 (US 70/Lebanon Pike) to install sign and supports. All travel lanes will remain open.

 

Wilson County

Thursday November 19, 8PM-12Midnight, There will be lanes closures on SR 171 (Mt Juliet Road) in both directions between I-40 and Providence Parkway for pavement retracing. One lane will be open in each direction.

From now through Tuesday November 24, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on the follow routes in order for Bechtel/Bear Construction to perform utility work.

  • SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) northbound, between Fesslers Lane and Fairfield Drive
  • SR 31 (8th Ave South) westbound, between Edgehill Ave and Wedgewood Ave

  • SR 1 (Lafayette Street) northbound, between Fairfield Ave and 2nd Ave S
  • SR 1 (Memphis-Bristol Hwy) northbound, between Old Harding Pike and Old Hickory Blvd
  • 1st Ave S, between Malloy and Broadway
  • SR 24 (Broadway), between 1st and 2nd Avenues
  • SR 106 (Hillsboro Pike) southbound, between Overhill Drive and Castleman Drive

From now through Tuesday November 24,  8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 1 (Broadway) at 17th Avenue in order for Metro Water Services to tie-in to existing water and sewer mains with a new 8” main and fire hydrant assembly.
From now through Tuesday November 24, 7PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on Charlotte Pike in both directions, between 11th Ave and 12th Ave, in order for Metro Water Services to installing a 12’ water main.
From now through Tuesday November 24, 8PM–5AM, There will be lane closures along SR 11 (Nolensville Pike) in the 2000 block in order for Metro Water Services to renew approximately 30 water service locations.
From now through Tuesday November 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) eastbound, between 22nd Street and 26th Street in the City of Lakewood, in order for Metro Water Services to line a sewer main.
From now through Tuesday November 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 11 (Dickerson Pike) eastbound, from Pine Ridge Drive to Hart Lane, in order for Metro Water Services to install 8” water main.
From now through Tuesday November 24, 9AM–3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 24 (US 70/Charlotte Avenue) eastbound, between the railroad crossing and 40th Avenue N in order for Metro Water Services to tie-in to an existing water main.
From now through Tuesday November 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 155 (Thompson Lane) westbound near 100 Oaks, from the intersection of Powell Ave to the CSX entrance, in order for Metro Water Services to install new water main.
From now through Tuesday November 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 6 (US 31/Franklin Pike) northbound at the intersection of Caudwell Lane in order for Metro Water Services to unload material for new water main installation.

 

Montgomery and Robertson Counties

From now through November 2015, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 76 eastbound, between Port Royal Road and Harmony Church Road in the city of Adams, in order for Cumberland Electric Membership Corp to place aerial cable at several locations.

 

Miscellaneous Non-TDOT Projects

City of Franklin 

Thursday November 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 106 (Lewisburg Pike) at Old Peytonsville Road for the installation of storm drain. Traffic will be flagged.
