Temporary Closures Planned for I-40/I-240 Interchange Project

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will have temporary closures on sections of the interstate system this week as crews continue to work on the new east and westbound flyover ramps. This work is part of the I-40/I-240 interchange improvement project.

Saturday, July 18 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The following will be CLOSED for crews to safely work underneath the bridge:

I-40 westbound ramp to Little Rock

The work is weather dependent. Should inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances prevent this work from occurring as scheduled, it will be rescheduled. Truck traffic should use SR 385 as an alternate route.
