Middle Tennessee Weekly Construction Lane Closure July 16-22, 2015
BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)
From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.
CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River
From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 at Charlotte Avenue, Johnston Avenue, Clinton Street, and Herman Street
From now through September 2015, 7AM-5PM, There will be a lane closure on 12th Avenue northbound, including the sidewalk and bike lane, to allow worker access to the median of I-40.
From now through Monday August 17, There will be a lane closure on Jo Johnston Avenue eastbound, between 11th Avenue and George L Davis Blvd. The westbound lane will remain open. All lanes of Jo Johnston under I-40, between George L David Blvd and Frontage Road, will be closed for bridge repairs. Detours are in place.
Thursday July 16 through Friday July 24, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between Herman Street and Charlotte Avenue, so that concrete barrier can be set and demolition may be performed.
LOOK AHEAD:
Friday July 24, 8PM through Monday July 27, 6AM, All lanes of I-40 along the “South Loop” of downtown Nashville will be closed, from the I-40/I-65 split west of downtown to the I-40/I-65 split south of downtown, for bridge repairs. Detours will be in place.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike
From now through Friday July 31, Ewing Drive will be closed from Hillhurst Drive to Richmond Hills Drive for bridge construction. Detours are in place.
Sunday July 19, 9PM-5AM, There will be a closure on I-65 southbound at MM 90 (Briley Pkwy) to allow for the installation of portable barrier wall and portable attenuator for the new overhead sign footing.
DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pole installation, electrical service work, fiber optic cabling installation, conduit installation/proving/repairs, and staging of overhead sign structures.

Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24, including on-ramps, from the Davidson County line to SR 231 (Shelbyville Hwy) for HOV sign installation.
MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.
MACON COUNTY, Resurfacing of SR 141 from SR 52 to the Trousdale County line
Monday July 20 through Wednesday July 22, 6AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 141 for degrassing and prepping roadway for paving.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, and Paving on SR 112 (US 41A/Madison Street)
Sunday July 19, 7PM through Wednesday July 22, 4PM, SR 112 eastbound will be reduced to one lane for utility relocation construction in front of Clarksville Gas & Water Department.
MONTGOMERY AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Retracing of Pavement Markings on Various Routes
Sunday July 19 through Wednesday July 22 8PM-6AM, There will be moving lane closures on I-24 in both directions, from MM 0 to MM 11 in Montgomery County, for striping operations.
Sunday July 19 through Wednesday July 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be moving lane closures on SR 1 (LM 12 to LM 18) and SR 102 (LM 0 to LM 7) in Rutherford County for striping operations.
ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Pavement Repair on I-65 from South of Honey Run Creek to North of Highland Road
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions, from MM 114 to MM 117, for final pavement markings and cleanup operations.
ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound, from MM 97 to MM 110, and I-65 northbound, from MM 93.77 to MM 108, for trenching and conduit installation.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Old Fort Pkwy (SR 96) and College Street for potential underground utility crossings. One lane will remain open in each direction.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 840 from near I-24 to West Fork Stone River Bridge
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, approximately from MM 53 to MM 55, in order to mill and pave the roadway. One lane will remain open in each direction.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-24 from East of SR 840 to Stones River Bridge
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions, from MM 74 to MM 79, in order to epoxy overlay bridges. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Ramp Improvements at Interchange of I-24 East and Exit 81A (US 231/SR 10/Church Street)
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 8PM-5AM, Traffic will be shifted on US 231 southbound to set barrier rail and allow for demolition and replacement of the existing concrete shoulder and ramp.
SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on SR 258 (New Shackle Island Road) at Intersection of Stop Thirty Road and Old Shackle Island Road
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be a temporary, intermittent lane closure on New Shackle Road at Stop Thirty Road to allow trucks hauling material to enter the roadway. Flaggers will be utilized.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Maury County line to North of SR 840
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be a lane closure on I-65 in both directions, from MM 53 to MM 59.5, for milling and paving operations. At least one lane will remain open at all times.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 96 from Arno Road to Cox Road
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 96 from Arno Road (LM 14.66) to Cox Road (LM 20.6) for milling operations. Traffic will be flagged and uniformed officers will be utilized.

Thursday July 16th, 7PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway (SR 155) in both directions, between I-24 (Exit 18) and Clarksville Highway (US 41A/ SR 112), in order to pave the roadway.
Tuesday July 21 and Wednesday July 22, 8PM-3AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions at MM 87 on the bridge over Trinity Lane for deck survey. Two lanes will remain open.
Hickman County
Thursday July 16, 7PM, through Friday July 17, 5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 162 for milling and paving operations. Troopers will be utilized.
Smith County
Monday July 20 through Friday July 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between MM 263 and MM 268, for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open in each direction.
Williamson County
Monday July 20 through Friday July 24, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions, between MM 72.4 and MM 72.6, north of the Concord Road exit, to repair pavement at the bridge over railroad.

From now through Monday August 31, 7PM–6AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) northbound, from 26th Street to Hadley Ave in the Lakewood community, in order for Cumberland Valley Construction to install 16” transmission water line.
From now through Saturday August 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) northbound, between Fesslers Lane and Fairfield Drive, in order for Bechtel Infrastructure-Google Fiber to perform boring and potholing operations.
From now through Saturday August 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 31 (8th Ave South) westbound, between Edgehill Ave and Wedgewood Ave, in order to perform boring and potholing operations.

Sumner County
Sunday July 19, 6AM-8AM, There will be a rolling roadblock on I-65 in both directions between MM 108 and MM 109 in order for Comcast to lash fiber optic cable onto existing cable.

City of Brentwood / Stansell Electric
Thursday July 16 through Wednesday July 22, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6 (Franklin Road), from South of Chadwick Drive to Executive Center Drive in Brentwood, to install drilled shaft foundations.
