BENTON COUNTY, I-40: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Decatur County line to west of State Route 191.

Sunday, August 30 through Thursday, September 3, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.
There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from mile marker 126 to mile marker 133, for milling, paving operations and joint work. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-69:  Miscellaneous safety improvements on State Route 69A from Reynoldsburg Road to Cedar Grove Road will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, with flagmen, for the installation of guardrail, striping, and snowplowable marker installation.

CARROLL COUNTY:  Miscellaneous safety improvements on various local roads which include Buena Vista Road, Old Trezevant Road/Rimmer Road, Rowland Mill Road, McLemoresville Road/Old Stage Road, Terry Road, & Hinkledale Road, will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-76:  Construction of turn lanes on State Route 76 at the intersection of Hospital Drive in McKenzie including grading, drainage, and paving.
Monday July 13, 2015 through Thursday, October 1, 2015, there will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-69: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Concord Road to US-412 (State Route 20).

DYER COUNTY, I-155: Bridge Repair on I-155 over the Mississippi River
Thursday, July 23, 2015 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-155 over the Mississippi River Bridge, for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 14’ 10.5” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  State Route 104, bridge over the Obion River is Open. However, there will be possible temporary lane closures on State Route 104 and State Route 182 over Coon Creek, for the duration of this project. Watch for flagmen.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222:  A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with SR-385 to the Mississippi State line. The project intersects with US 72 (SR-86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection. State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction and construction of the concrete ramps. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64):  A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on State Route 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR-15) in Savannah. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-142: Miscellaneous safety improvements from State Route 57 to the Mississippi State Line will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-203: Miscellaneous safety improvements from State Route 226 to Choate Creek Road will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-203: Miscellaneous safety improvements from Choate Creek Road to Nichols Branch will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

HENDERSON COUNTY, I-40: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of State Route 104 to west of State Route 22.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-22: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Chester County line to south of State Route 22A (Cook Street).

HENRY COUNTY:  Miscellaneous safety improvements on various local roads which include Old Paris-Murray Road, Shady Grove Road, Reynoldsburg Road, Palestine Road, Van Dyke Road, Macedonia Road, & Old McKenzie Highway will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-69A: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Benton County line to north of Mays Bridge Road.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-76 (US-79): Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Service Master Drive to West Antioch Road. One lane will remain open in each direction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley. There will be possible temporary lane closures daily. Watch for flagmen.

MADISON COUNTY, I-40: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Lower Brownsville Road to west of US-412 (State Route 20).
Sunday, August 30 through Thursday, September 3, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from mile marker 74 to mile marker 79, paving operations. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-20: There will be temporary lane closures between LM 2.75 and LM 2.00 Westbound for the application of High Friction Surface Treatment.  One lane will remain open.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-22: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-64 (State Route 15) to the Chester County line.

MCNAIRY COUNTY SR-57:  A bridge replacement project will cause a reduction in lanes in both directions on State Route 57 over Cypress Creek. Traffic is reduced to one lane, with a temporary signal, for duration of the project.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-142: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Albert Robinson Road to the Hardin County line.

The outside (right) lane of I-40 Eastbound over the Mississippi River is closed for repair work.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, August 26 through Wednesday, September 2:
I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. There are lane shifts east and westbound on I-40. On December 5, 2014, there were transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road shifting from two lanes to one lane.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:
Wednesday, August 26 through Wednesday, September 2: 
There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:
Summer Avenue:
The right westbound lane is CLOSED, beginning just west of the existing I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue to allow for construction access.
Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.
Sam Cooper WB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange.
I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.
I-40 WB: The outside shoulder is closed from Sycamore View to the Wolf River Bridge for construction access.
I-240 EB ramp is reduced to ONE lane and wide loads over 18’ are prohibited.

Saturday, August 29 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • The outside lane of I-240 east from Walnut Grove to the I-40/240 junction will be CLOSED for removal of pavement marking and new striping.

*Sunday, August 30 will serve as backup date.

Saturday, August 29 from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • CLOSE the inner most lane of I-40E / I-240W south of the Covington Pike interchange extending to the I-40/240 junction to allow for the removal of traffic control devices and traffic swap to the NEW I-40 east to Nashville exit flyover, exit 12C.

NOTE: I-40 East, existing split will be closed as well as access to I-40 East from White Station.

*Sunday, August 30 will serve as backup date.

Saturday, August 29 from 6:00 a.m. to NOON

  • CLOSE the outside, Sycamore View Road exit lane of I-40 east from the Wolf River to the Sycamore View Road interchange, Exit 12 to allow for the removal of existing overhead signs. The exit will remain OPEN.

*Sunday, August 30 will serve as backup date.

Sunday, August 30 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • CLOSE I-240 east to Nashville Exit 12C beginning north of the Walnut Grove Road interchange extending to the I-40/240 junction to allow for the relocating of traffic control devices, restriping and opening of a second I-40 east exit lane. The Covington Pike interchange will serve as the detour route.
  • Saturday, September 19 or Sunday the 20th will serve as backup date.

LOOK AHEAD:

Saturday, September 12 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • Close the inner most lane of I-40E/I-240W south of the Covington Pike interchange extending to the I-40/240 junction to allow for the removal of traffic control devices. *Sunday, September 13 will serve as backup date.

Saturday, September 12 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • CLOSE the outside lane of I-40 west beginning west of the Sycamore View, Exit 12 extending to the I-40/240 junction to allow for the grinding, striping and relocation of the traffic control devices for the opening of the NEW I-40 westbound flyover to Little Rock, Exit 10B

*Sunday, September 13 will serve as backup date.

Saturday, September 12 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

  • CLOSE the inside lane of I-240 east beginning north of the westbound Sam Cooper Blvd, Exit 12B extending to the merger of the NEW I-40 westbound flyover to Little Rock, Exit 10B.(This will be for the new I-40 westbound flyover traffic to have a dedicated lane departing the bridge).

*Sunday, September 13 will serve as backup date.

SHELBY COUNTY I-55 @ Crump

Monday, August 31 through Wednesday, September 2, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be a temporary (inside) lane closure southbound I-55 from near Crump Boulevard to South of Wisconsin Avenue for soil borings.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Night time resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Kentucky Street to State Route 4.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Night time resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-51 (State Route 3) to US-70 (State Route 1).

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. April 27, 2015 through May 11, 2016, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a. m. there will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until May 2016.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Miscellaneous safety improvements including resurfacing on State Route 14 from State Route 204 to the Tipton County line and miscellaneous safety improvements on State Route 14 from State Route 384 to State Route 59 will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions, from State Route 277 (Trezevant Street) to the I-40 ramp, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Bridge Repair on State Route 14 over overflows log mile 26.28, 26.58 & 26.74, Loosahatchie River log mile 26.90 and overflow log mile 27.25. There will be temporary lane closures, for the duration of the project. Beginning Friday July 10, 2015, there is be a lane width restriction 11’6” between log mile 26.25 and 27.25, which is approximately 3 miles Southwest of State Route 385/State Route 14 intersection in northeast Shelby County. Temporary signal is being utilized. Beginning Friday, August 21, 2015, traffic will be switched to the northbound side of the bridge.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. 

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on State Route 175 (Byhalia Road) from south of Shelby Post Road to south of State Route 385 will cause possible lane closure.

SHELBY COUNTY, Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:

Wednesday, August 26 through Wednesday, September 2: There will be possible intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits (LM-1.65) to Stout Road (LM-2.40).

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-205: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions, from State Route 57 to south of US 64 (State Route 15). One lane will remain open in each direction.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Loosahatchie River. Traffic is reduced to one north and one southbound lane; a twelve (12’) lane will be maintained in each direction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Memphis-Arlington Road & Hall Creek. A traffic shift will cause traffic to move on both east and westbound bridges.

Traffic was moved over last week for Phase 2 Construction. Memphis-Arlington Road and eastbound lane of Hall Creek bridge have been dug out for expansion joints.  They have begun the composite fiber encasement.  Wrap on beams on the Loosahatchie River Bridges and delineators on the parapet rails.  Deck joints have been sealed.  Grooving will begin this week along with texture coat to finish.

TDOT REGION 4 Miscellaneous Safety Improvements Using High Friction Surface Treatment on Various State Routes

Friday, August 28, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, August 31, 6:00 a. m.: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on State Route 385 in Shelby County between log mile 0.75 and log mile 1.50 at Ridgeway Road. At least one lane will remain open at all times. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Monday, August 31 through Thursday, September 3, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures eastbound and westbound on State Route 57 in Shelby County between log mile 7.75 and log mile 9.00 Poplar Ave. at I-240. At least one lane will remain open at all times. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

  • SR-57, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound LM 9.64 (Memphis City Limits) to LM 22.12 (Fayette County Line), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-86, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound LM 0.00 (Fayette County Line) to LM 3.29 (SR-57), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-175, Shelby County, eastbound and westbound LM 16.04 (Memphis City Limits) to LM 25.71 (SR-57), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-176, Shelby County, northbound & southbound LM 0.00 (MS State Line) to LM 1.44 (Memphis City Limits), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-300, Shelby County, eastbound and westbound LM 0.00 (SR-3) to LM 1.46 (I-40).

  • SR-385, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound LM 0.00 to LM 15.50, one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound LM 0.00 to LM 23.68, one lane will remain open.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, August 26
through Wednesday, September 2, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis. Weather Permitting.

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Wednesday, August 26 through Wednesday, September 2: Bridge Repair on State Route 54 over Hatchie River at log mile 9.60. A signal system will be utilized. On July 6, 2015, State Route 54 over Hatchie River, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 2” lane restriction.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 217 to the ramp from State Route 431.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-43: This is to advise of a ramp closure for 45E/22 Dresden/South Fulton, beginning Friday night, August 28, 2015 at 8:00 p. m. through Monday morning, August 31, 2015 at 6:00 a.m., including Saturday (day/night), August 29th and Sunday (day/night), August 30th. Work will consist of the ramp removal and replacement of damaged concrete areas during both the day and night time hours. The ramp will be closed with traffic to use alternate routes. For this ramp, take 216 South to SR-43 to South Milan/Jackson and 45E North to South Fulton. Message boards will be utilized.

Also, 2 short term stationary lane closures at the following locations:

  • Right lane closure @ SR43 N/Hwy 372 going toward Martin, TN. LM 14.0 to LM 0.0 @ Hwy 372.
  • Right lane closure @ Skyhawk Parkway going toward Hwy 22 to Dresden LM 14.5 to LM 15.5.

WEAKLEY COUNTY:  Miscellaneous safety improvements on various local roads which include Old State Route 22, Ralston Road, Parkers Levee Road, Three Point Road, & Shades Bridge Road will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily.
