DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, drainage, and paving on I-40 EB at the interchange of I-440

  • Monday October 24 and Wednesday October 26, 12PM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 in both directions for blasting.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 6 Bridges at I-440/I-65 Interchange over US31 (SR 6, Franklin Pike)

  • From now through May 2017, There will be lane shifts on I-440 and I-65 at the 440/65 junction to perform deck repairs, expansion joint repairs, and approach slab repairs.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Repair on I-65 from Trinity Lane to Cumberland River Bridge

  • Nightly (excluding Friday and Saturday), 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions from the Trinity Lane bridge to the Cumberland River bridge and Spring Street bridge for resurfacing operations.

                                             

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) from US 70 to I-40 eastbound ramp

  • Nightly (excluding Friday and Saturday), 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 45 from US 70 (SR 24) to North of the I-40 eastbound ramp in Nashville in both directions for milling, traffic signal loops, and casting adjustments. One lane will remain open.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Concrete Ramp Repair from McGavock Pike to SR 155 (Briley Parkway)

  • Thursday, October 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on the ramp from McGavock Pike to SR 155 (Briley Parkway) for concrete sawing and removal.  One lane will remain open. 
  • Sunday, October 23, 8PM through Wednesday, October 26, 5AM, There will be lane closures on the ramp from McGavock Pike to SR 155 (Briley Parkway) for concrete removal and replacement. Drivers should expect delays on the ramp and consider using the Opry Mills exit (Exit 11) to access Opryland Hotel if needed.  

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 155 between Glastonbury Dr and Karen Dr

  • Daily (excluding Friday and Saturday), 7AM-4PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 155 from Glastonbury Drive to Karen Drive for milling and paving.

 

DICKSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 (US 70) from Valleywood to Corlew Drive

  • Daily, 8AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 1 from Valleywood Drive to Corlew Drive in for milling and paving operations.

 

HICKMAN COUNTY, Construction of Truck Climbing Lane on I-40 WB at MM 161

  • Monday October 24 through Tuesday, November 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 westbound from MM 159-162 to place barrier rail.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • From now through December 2016, SR 10 has been reduced to one lane for construction activities. Temporary signals control traffic flow. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.  

 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, ITS Expansion

  • Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions at MM 101 to install guardrail.  

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, On-Call Signing on I-24

  • Monday October 24 and Tuesday, October 25 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures I-24 eastbound at MM 73 for replacing signs. At least two lanes will remain open at all times.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Storm Drain Inspections on I-24

  • Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21, 10AM-1PM, There will be lane closures on I-24 westbound for daytime storm drain inspections.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Performance-based maintenance on I-24

  • Monday, October 24 through Friday, October 28, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound for asphalt repair. One lane will remain open.

 

RUTHERFORD, WILSON, WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, I-840 Striping

  • Daily (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-840 between exit 28 and exit 72 for restriping markings in the gore area. One lane will remain open. Ramp lanes will be narrowed but will remain open.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 266 from Nolan Drive to SR 102

  • Monday October 24 through Wednesday, October 26, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 266 (Sam Ridley Pkwy) for scoring and pavement marking operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 266 from SR 840 to US 231

  • Monday October 24 through Wednesday, October 26, 8:30AM-3:30PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 266 (Jefferson Pike) for a Scoring and Pavement Marking operations.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek

  • From now through January 2017, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 109 at the intersection of Old SR 109

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 for construction operations. At least one lane will remain open.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, On-Call Signing on I-65 and I-840

  • Thursday October 20 and Monday October 24, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound at MM 58 for replacing signs. At least one lane will remain open.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher) from US 31 (SR 6) (LM 0.00) to SR 96 (LM 3.20) in Franklin

  • Nightly (excluding Friday and Saturday), 8PM-5AM, There will be periodic nighttime road closures on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher) from US 31 (SR 6) to SR 96 for milling, paving, and traffic loop installation. Signed detours will be in place.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 96 from Cannon County line to Dekalb County Line

  • Friday, October 21, 8PM, through Monday, October 24, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 for bridge deck repair operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction.  Traffic will be controlled with a temporary signal.
  • Tuesday, October 25 and Wednesday October 26, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 for Scoring & Pavement Marking operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction. 

 

Maintenance

 

Davidson County

  • Tuesday, October 25, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 eastbound between MM 35 and MM 37 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

Rutherford County

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-840 for median crossover removal and grading.  The inside lanes, in both directions, may be affected during grading operations.

 

Smith County

  • Wednesday, October 26, 9AM-12PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 24 at LM 14 for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open.

 

Sumner County

  • Tuesday, October 25, 9AM-12PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 386 for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open.

***Drivers should also be aware of a superload that is scheduled to travel I-24 eastbound through Tennessee on Thursday, October 20. The load is expected to take up two travel lanes. Get more information here.
