CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424: Construction of a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge on SR 424 over Roan Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

DYER COUNTY, I-155:    Wednesday, October 5 through Wednesday, October 12: There will be temporary lane closures east and westbound for bridge repairs.  Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64); Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the 5 lane section to near Tomlin Road.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-43 (US-45E): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from north of Cades/Atwood Road to the Weakley County line including bridge deck repair.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-77: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Dyer County line to SR-5 (US-45W).

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-185: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US 45W (SR 5) to the 90 degree turn.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: Bridge Repair project on SR 100 over overflow at log mile 7.58​
Tuesday, May 31 through May 31, 2017: There will be lane closures in both directions on SR 100, for duration of the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.  Watch for flagmen.​
Restrictions: On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, a signal system was put into place. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on SR 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

LOOK AHEAD: Thursday, October 13, 6:30 p. m. through Friday, October 14, 6:30 a. m.: Main St. at the intersection of SR 128 westbound to Guinn St. will be closed for the installation of a water main. Weather Permitting.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-Bridge over I-40 at Hawkins Lane: Bridge Repair project over I-40 at Hawkins Lane will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.​
Restrictions: Beginning Thursday, October 20 through Wednesday, May 31, 2017, a signal system will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’3” lane restriction.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-Bridge over I-40 at SR-19 (Exit 60): Bridge Repair project at log mile 16.62 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions: On Tuesday, July 5 through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ 3” lane restriction.

Friday, October 7, 8PM through Monday, October 10, 6AM: There will be temporary intermittent lane closures for I-40 east and westbound, inside or outside lane, for full depth bridge repair on Mercer Road SR-19 overhead bridge at Exit 60.

Monday, October 10 through Thursday, October 13, 8PM-6AM: There will be temporary intermittent lane closures for I-40 east and westbound, inside or outside lane, for full depth bridge repair on Mercer Road SR-19 overhead bridge at Exit 60.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-76: Wednesday, August 3 through Friday, September 30.  Resurfacing work will cause possible lane closures in both directions daily from log mile 9.7 (Near Sunny Hill Rd.) to log mile 12.76 (SR 1 Brownsville Bypass).

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: Safety Improvements: Temporary one-lane closures in both directions from Smith Road to the Kentucky State Line.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140: Bridge Repair project on SR 140 over Mill Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.​
Restrictions:  Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on SR 218 from SR 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (SR 54). On Friday May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: Bridge Repair project on SR 21 over Reelfoot Spillway will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions: On Tuesday, July 19, through Wednesday, November 30, a signal system is being utilized. Traffic is reduced to one 9’ 9” lane in each direction.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21:  The construction of a concrete I-Beam bridge on SR 21 over Branch Creek (L.M. 1.20), including grading, drainage, and paving.  Beginning Monday September 12, 2016,  SR 21 was closed to thru traffic until approximately September 30, 2017. Detour route posted.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3: Friday July 29 through Friday, October 28: Intersection improvement at Industrial Drive. Northbound outside lane will be closed. A taper using barrier rail will begin at log mile 11.00 and extend to the intersection at Industria. Speed limit has been reduced to 45MPH.
Restrictions: This will leave the inside northbound lane open with a 12’ lane restriction.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3 Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from New Wilson Road to SR 88 ramp.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-19 Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from near ARP-Central Road  to near Volunteer Drive.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-18: Construction of a concrete box bridge on SR 18 over Meridian Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. A temporary signal will be utilized.
Restrictions: Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 north of I-40 to south of Channing Way Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from just North of I-40 (LM 3.35) to South of Channing Way (LM 4.44). At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Friday, October 7, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, October 10, 6:00 a. m.: The ramp from I-40 westbound to northbound SR-186 (Exit 80B) and the ramp from southbound SR-186 to westbound I-40 will be closed for epoxy overlay on the bridges over Vann Drive.  Only one (1) ramp will be closed at any given time.  THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Friday, October 7, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, October 10, 6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures north and southbound from just north of I-40 (LM 3.35) to south of Channing Way (LM 4.44) for epoxy overlay on the bridge over Vann Drive.  One lane will remain open at all times.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Construction of 2 concrete I-beam bridges, grading, drainage and paving. Beginning Friday April 15, 2016 through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: There will be lane a closure on State Route 197, just east of Beech Bluff Rd. over branch.
Restrictions: Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-15: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US 64 (SR 15) from the end of the 4 lane section log mile 22.79 to the Hardin County Line log mile 26.06.N

MCNAIRY COUNTY. SR-117: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 142 to US 64 (SR 15).

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-117: Bridge Repair project on SR 117 over Snake Creek.
Tuesday, May 31 through May 31, 2017: There will be lane closures in both directions on SR 117 Beginning Tuesday, June 14, a signal system will be utilized. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.  Watch for flagmen.
Restrictions: Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-3 US-51): Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Walker Tanner Road log mile 16.02 to SR 431 log mile 17.83.

OBION COUNTY, SR-215 (US-45E): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from (US-45E) SR 43 log mile 0.00 to the Kentucky State line log mile 2.07, including bridge deck repair.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing on from west of Sycamore View (L.M. 15.54) to west of Davies Plantation Road (LM-22.98)

  • Wednesday, October 5, through Thursday, October 6, 8PM-5AM: I-40 westbound from LM 15.54 to LM 22.98 will have nightly lane closures for thermoplastic pavement striping.
  • Saturday, October 8, 6:30AM-7PM: Germantown Road to I-40 west will be CLOSED for concrete joint sealing. *Detour to HWY 64 entrance ramp.
  • Saturday, October 8, 6:30AM-7PM: I-40 westbound to southbound Germantown Road “Off” ramp will be CLOSED for joint sealing. *This ramp will not close until the completion of work and reopening at Appling Road Exit ramp.
  • Saturday, October 8, 6:30AM-7PM: I-40 west to Appling Road and Appling Road to I-40 west will be CLOSED while shoulders are paved.
  • Sunday, October 9, 6:30AM-12PM: I-40 westbound to Germantown Road north will be CLOSED for sealing of shoulder joint.
  • Sunday, October 9, 12:30PM-7PM: I-40 westbound to Appling Road “Off” ramp will be CLOSED for sealing of shoulder joint.
  • Sunday, October 9, through Tuesday, October 11, 8PM-5AM: I-40 westbound from LM - 15.54 to LM - 22.98 will have nightly lane closures for thermoplastic pavement striping.

LOOK AHEAD:

  • Friday, October 14, 8PM, through Monday, October 17, 5AM: I-40 east and westbound will have INTERMITTENT closures of ramps for touchup work and final sealing. *Closures should last less than 30 minutes at each ramp to complete work.
  • Saturday, October 15, through Sunday, October 16, 6AM-7PM: I-40 eastbound to Appling Road “On” ramp will be CLOSED for joint sealant.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, October 5 through Wednesday, October 12: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts east and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions south and northbound on Canada Road.

LOOK AHEAD:
Wednesday, October 5 through December 2016: I-40 eastbound from Canada Road “On” ramp will be CLOSED.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 beginning north of SR-385 and extending to north of Walnut Grove Road  Wednesday, October 5 through Wednesday, October 12: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:

Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)

I-240: There are inside shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of southbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.

I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)

I-40 EB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E (new flyover) 1 lane Sam Cooper)

I-240 EB ramp has 1 lane open.

I-240 EB to I-40 WB has the left lane closed.

Summer Ave. Exit:  The Summer Ave. exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of Wolf River Bridge.  Motorist must exit off I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.

Covington Pike is one lane in each direction at the I-40 Interchange.

Summer Avenue - The outside eastbound lane will be CLOSED.

Wednesday, October 5 through Friday, October 7, 9:00 a. m.–3:00 p. m.: I-240 west will have the outside deceleration lane CLOSED beginning at Summer Avenue extending to the Sam Cooper overpass for overhead sign construction.  Ramps will remain open during this closure.

* Saturday, October 8 and Monday, October 10, 9AM-3PM will serve as backup dates.

Wednesday, October 5, 8:00 p. m.–6:00 a. m.: I-240 east to I-40 west will be CLOSED beginning at the Greenline Bridge for construction activities. Traffic must exit I-40 east. A detour will be posted. ALL ramps in between the Greenline Bridge and White Station will be closed.  Ramp detours will be posted.

* Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m. will serve as backup dates.

Thursday, October 6, 9:00 p. m.–6:00 a. m.: I-240 east to I-40 east (Nashville exit) will be CLOSED for construction activities.  A detour will be posted.

*Friday, October 7, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m. will serve as backup dates.

Friday, October 7, 8:00 p. m.–6:00 a. m.: I-240 east to I-40 west will be CLOSED beginning at the Greenline Bridge for construction activities. Traffic must exit I-40 east. A detour will be posted. ALL ramps in between the Greenline Bridge and White Station will be closed.  Ramp detours will be posted.

*Saturday, October 8, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m. and Monday October 10, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m. will serve as backup dates.

Saturday, October 8 through Wednesday, October 12, 8:00 p. m.–6:00 a. m.: I-240 east to I-40 west will be CLOSED beginning at the Greenline Bridge for construction activities including final surface paving. Traffic must exit I-40 east.  A detour will be posted. ALL ramps in between the Greenline Bridge and White Station will be CLOSED.  This closure includes the I-40 west flyover.

Saturday, October 8, 6:00 a. m.–8:00 p. m.: CLOSE the northbound Covington Pike ramp to eastbound I-40 to allow for ramp reconstruction activities.  A detour will be posted.

* Sunday, October 9 and Saturday, October 15, 6:00 a. m.-8:00 p. m. will serve as backup dates.

Saturday, October 8, 6:00 a. m.–12:00 p. m.: I-40 west and east will have the outside lanes CLOSED INTERMITTENTLY from Sycamore View to the Wolf River Bridge for utility pole replacement.

* Sunday, October 9 and Saturday, October 15, 6:00 a. m.-12:00 p. m. will serve as backup dates.

LOOK AHEAD:
Friday, October 14, 8:00 p. m through Monday, October 17, 6:00 a. m.–:
I-240 east to I-40 west will be CLOSED at the Greenline Bridge, followed by eastbound I-40, to allow for the epoxy overlay on the Green Line Bridge.  Detours will be posted.

*These two closures will not be simultaneously.

Wednesday, October 12 through Wednesday 19, 8:00 p. m–6:00 a. m.–: INTERMITTENT lane closures of east and westbound I-40 from the Wolf River to Sycamore View, to allow for removal of barrier rail, lane realignment, and final surface paving.

Wednesday, October 12, 8:00 p. m–6:00 a. m.: CLOSE eastbound Sam Cooper Blvd. to allow for the removal of barrier rail.  A detour will be posted.

INTERMITTENT lane closures of all interstate routes within the I-40/240 project limits including Sam Cooper Blvd., for the purpose of milling and/or paving, weekdays from 8PM-6AM and weekends from Friday 8:00 p. m through Monday 6:00 a. m

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line to Woodlawn Avenue

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4 (US-78):
Monday, October 3 through Friday, October 7, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be a temporary lane closure southbound SR 4 (US 78) from 300’ north of intersection of SR 4 (US 78) and SR 175 (East Shelby Drive) to East Holmes Road for soil borings.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road has been CLOSED to thru traffic until October 2016. Beginning Tuesday, October 11 through Tuesday October 18 (excluding Sunday), 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures to move barrier rail.  Traffic control will be handled with a flagman.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Bridge repair over Gulf Stream Road, the CSXT R/R & US-70 (SR 1) Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. Exit from SR 385 northbound to SR 1 (Hwy 70) is closed until approximately October, 31, 2016.
Restrictions:
Saturday, June 18 through Wednesday, November 30, there is an 11’ width restriction at log mile 8.98 to 9.23.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair

Wednesday, October 5 through Thursday, October 13, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m. (excluding Friday & Saturday nights): There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, east & westbound (MM 1.0 to MM 32.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-240, Shelby County, east & westbound, southbound & northbound (MM 1.0 to MM 30.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-55, Shelby County, north & southbound (MM 1.0 to MM 12.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, north & southbound, eastbound & westbound (MM 2.0 to MM 49.0), one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4 Retracing of Pavement Marking with Spray Thermo Plastic Wednesday, October 5 through Wednesday, October 12: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4 On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair  Wednesday, October 5 through Wednesday, October 12: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, October 5 through Wednesday, October 12, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.  Weather Permitting.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-3: Wednesday, May 11 through Sunday, October 31: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line log mile 0.00 to Woodlawn Avenue log mile 9.60.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: Bridge Repair project on SR 22 at the Old Salem Road and Terrell Road will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-43: Concrete repair work will cause the SR 43E “On” ramp to be partially CLOSED between mm 14.5 and 15.0.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-124: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, Stafford Store Road log mile 6.36 to the Carroll county line log mile 15.77
