Middle Tennessee Weekly Construction Lane Closures November 17-23, 2016

Holiday lane closure restrictions start Wednesday, November 23 at noon and run through Monday, November 28 at 6 a.m.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Overhead Sign Structure on SR 155

  • Sunday November 20, 6AM-12PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 155 to install a new overhead sign structure near Centennial Blvd. There will also be a short term rolling roadblock westbound on SR 155 to swing the new overhead sign structure truss. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 6 Bridges at I-440/I-65 Interchange over US31 (SR 6, Franklin Pike)

  • From now through May 2017, There will be lane shifts on I-440 and I-65 at the 440/65 junction to perform deck repairs, expansion joint repairs, and approach slab repairs.

                                             

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 155 between Glastonbury Dr. (L.M. 5.84) to Karen Dr. (L.M. 6.01)

  • Friday, November 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 155 from Glastonbury Drive to Karen Drive for the placement of an extruded panel sign on a cantilever. One lane will remain open to traffic.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • From now through December 2016, SR 10 has been reduced to one lane for construction activities. Temporary signals control traffic flow. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.  

 

MAURY COUNTY, Intersection Improvement at the intersection of SR 50 and SR 245

  • From now through January 2017, There will be lane closures on SR 245 at the intersection of SR 50 (James Campbell Blvd.) for grading and drainage work.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek

  • From now through January 2017, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

 

SMITH COUNTY, On-call Concrete Repair on SR 53 to SR 24

  • Thursday, November 17 through Tuesday November 22, 8AM-3PM, Wednesday November 12, 8AM-Noon, There will be a traffic shift on the on-ramps to allow for saw cutting of the concrete. The ramps will remain open to traffic.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, ITS Expansion on I-65

  • Nightly, 9PM-6AM (excluding weekends and holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be a lane closure on I-65 at MM 101 in both directions to install guardrail.  One lane will remain open.                       

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 109 at the intersection of Old SR 109

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM (excluding weekends and holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 for construction operations. At least one lane will remain open.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Performance-based maintenance work on I-65

  • Monday November 21 and Tuesday November 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound as well as the southbound off ramp at Moores Lane for storm drain cleaning. Three travel lanes will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Repair from I-40 eastbound to SR 26 (Exit 239A) & from SR 26 to I-40 westbound

  • Thursday November 17 through Tuesday November 22, 8AM-3PM and Wednesday, November 23, 8AM-Noon, There will be a traffic shift on I-40 on the ramps at MM 239 to allow for saw cutting of the concrete. The ramps will remain open to traffic.

 

WILSON COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair From I-40 eastbound to South Hartmann Dr. (Exit 236) & South Hartmann to I-40 westbound

  • Thursday November 17 through Tuesday November 22, 8AM-3PM and Wednesday, November 23, 8AM-Noon, There will be a traffic shift on both the eastbound off ramp and the westbound on ramp to allow for saw cutting and replacing concrete. The ramps will remain open to traffic.

  • Thursday, November 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-24 eastbound at MM 47 to MM 50 (near Nissan Stadium) for milling and paving. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

  • Sunday, November 20, 6AM-10AM, There will be rolling road blocks on Briley Parkway at Ashland City Highway to pull fiber optics across Briley Parkway.
  • Sunday November 20, 6AM-10AM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-440 at Bransford Ave for Comcast.
