DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 6 Bridges at I-440/I-65 Interchange over US31 (SR 6, Franklin Pike)

  • From now through May 2017, There will be lane shifts on I-440 and I-65 at the 440/65 junction to perform deck repairs, expansion joint repairs, and approach slab repairs.
  • Saturday, December 3, 5AM, through Sunday, December 4, 10PM, There will be a lane closure on I-440 eastbound. At least one lane will remain open.  
  • Sunday, December 4, 5AM-10AM, There will be a ramp closure on I-440 eastbound to I-65 northbound and I-440 westbound to I-65 southbound.           

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Relensing of snowplowable pavement markers on I-24

  • Monday, December 5 through Wednesday December 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations on I-24 in Davidson county to replace snowplowable marker lenses from at MM 46-47.

                               

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Relensing of snowplowable pavement markers on SR-386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd)

  • Monday, December 5 through Wednesday December 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations in Davidson County to replace snowplowable marker lenses from MM 0-2 in SR 386.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • From now through December 2016, SR 10 has been reduced to one lane for construction activities. Temporary signals control traffic flow. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.  

 

MAURY COUNTY, Intersection Improvement at the intersection of SR 50 and SR 245

  • Daily through January 2017, There will be lane closures on SR 245 at the intersection of SR 50 for intersection improvements.

 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Relensing of snowplowable pavement markers on I-65

  • Monday, December 5 through Wednesday December 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations in Robertson County to replace snowplowable marker lenses from MM 0-7.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Relensing of snowplowable pavement markers on I-24

  • Monday, December 5 through Wednesday December 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations in Rutherford County to replace snowplowable marker lenses from MM 0-11.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Relensing of snowplowable pavement markers on I-840

  • Monday, December 5 through Wednesday December 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations in Rutherford County to replace snowplowable marker lenses from MM 10-20.5.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24 eastbound

  • Thursday, December 1 through Tuesday, December 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be an inside shoulder closure on I-24 eastbound for median barrier wall repair. Traffic will not be affected.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek

  • From now through January 2017, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, ITS Expansion on I-65

  • Nightly, 9PM-6AM (excluding weekends), There will be a lane closure on I-65 at MM 101 in both directions to install guardrail.  One lane will remain open.                       

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 109 at the intersection of Old SR 109

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 for construction operations. At least one lane will remain open.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, On-call sign installation on I-840

  • Monday December 5 through Wednesday December 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-840 westbound for sign shifting from MM 9 to 15. At least one lane will remain open.

 

 

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.  Information in this report is provided to the Department of Transportation by the contractors.  Most work is weather dependent and subject to change due to inclement weather.
