BENTON COUNTY - I-40 Truck Climbing Lane
LOOK AHEAD: Friday, December 16, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, December 19, 6:00 a. m.
: There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound inside lane from west of SR 191 to west of the Tennessee River (LM 5.90 to LM 8.0) for paving and installation of temporary pavement markings.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424: Construction of a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge on SR 424 over Roan Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64); Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the 5 lane section to near Tomlin Road.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64); Bridge Repair project on SR 15 over Howell Creek will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-420: Miscellaneous safety improvements from Luck Madden Road log mile 2.12 to SR 186 log mile 4.57.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: Bridge Repair project on SR 100 over overflow at log mile 7.58
Tuesday, May 31 through May 31, 2017, a signal system is being utilized. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.  Watch for flagmen.

Restrictions: On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, a signal system was put into place. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on SR 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-Bridge over I-40 at Hawkins Lane: Bridge Repair project over I-40 at Hawkins Lane log mile 0.47 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-Bridge over I-40 at SR-19 (Exit 60): Bridge Repair project at log mile 16.62 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Watch for flagmen.
Saturday, December 10, 7:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m.: There will be temporary intermittent lane closures on I-40 east and westbound, inside or outside lane, for full depth bridge repair on Mercer Rd. SR 19 overhead bridge at Exit 60.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140: Bridge Repair project on SR 140 over Mill Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: Bridge Repair project on SR 21 over Reelfoot Spillway will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.​
Restrictions: On Tuesday, July 19, through Wednesday, November 30, a signal system is being utilized. Traffic is reduced to one 9’ 9” lane in each direction.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21:  The construction of a concrete I-Beam bridge on SR 21 over Branch Creek LM 1.20, including grading, drainage, and paving.  Beginning Monday September 12, 2016, SR 21 was closed to thru traffic until approximately September 30, 2017.  Detour route posted.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3: Intersection improvement at Industrial Drive. The Southbound inside lane is closed. A taper using barrier rail will begin at the intersection at Industrial Drive log mile 11.35 and extend south to log mile 11.00. The speed limit has been reduced to 45MPH.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-18: Construction of a concrete box bridge on SR 18 over Meridian Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. A temporary signal will be utilized.
Restrictions: Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Construction of 2 concrete I-beam bridges, grading, drainage and paving. Beginning Friday April 15, 2016 through Sunday, May 31, 2017: There will be lane a closure on State Route 197, just east of Beech Bluff Rd. over branch.
Restrictions: Beginning Monday October 24, through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: Traffic has been reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-117: Bridge Repair project on SR 117 over Snake Creek.​
Beginning Tuesday, June 14, a signal system is being utilized. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.  Watch for flagmen.​
Restrictions: Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from 0.2 mile south of US 51 (SR 3) to 0.2 mile south of US 45W (SR 5). Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH.

OBION COUNTY, SR-215 (US-45E): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from (US-45E) SR 43 to the Kentucky State line, including bridge deck repair.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, December 7 through Wednesday, December 14: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. There are lane shifts east and westbound on I-40.  Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions south and northbound on Canada Road.

*On Wednesday, October 12 at 9:00 p. m. the Canada Road to I-40 east ramp was CLOSED and will remain closed until approximately December 2016.

Tuesday, December 13 through Thursday, December 15, 8:00 p. m.-4:00 a. m.
: I-40 Westbound lanes will be CLOSED and a detour up and over Canada Rd. via the ramps for placement of bridge beams.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40:
Monday, December 12 and Tuesday, December 13; 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 east and westbound outside lane between MM 21.0 and 43.0, for patching potholes.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:
Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)
Summer Ave. Exit: The Summer Ave. Exit from I-40 Westbound will remain CLOSED until completion of Wolf River Bridge. Motorist must exit off I-40 Westbound at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.
Summer Avenue: The outside westbound lane will be CLOSED.

Wednesday, December 7 through Tuesday, December 13 from 8:00 p. m.–6:00 a. m.:

INTERMITTENT lane closures of I-240 east and westbound, I-40 east and westbound, and Sam Cooper east and westbound starting at the beginnings of the project extending to the ends of the project to allow for construction activities.

CLOSE the eastbound Sam Cooper Blvd. ramp to go westbound I-40 to allow for guardrail installation. A ramp detour will be in place.

Saturday, December 10, 6:00 a. m.–12:00 p. m.:

CLOSE the three (3) right lanes of westbound I-40 beginning at the Sycamore View Rd. interchange extending to the west side of the Wolf River bridge to allow for installation of overhead signage.  There will be a twenty (20) minute closure with a rolling road block when sign structure is lifted into place.

* Sunday, December 11, 6:00 a. m.-12:00 p. m. and Monday, December 12, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m will serve as a backup dates.

Saturday, December 10, 6:00 a. m.-8:00 p. m.:

CLOSE the left lane on ramp from I-240 eastbound to I-40 eastbound for bridge repairs.

* Sunday, December 11, 6:00 a. m.-8:00 p. m. will serve as a backup date.

Monday, December 5 through Thursday, December 8, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures of I-55 southbound outside lane, bridge over the Mississippi River for routine bridge inspection.  Weather Permitting.
Monday, December 12 through Thursday, December 15, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures of I-55 northbound outside lane, bridge over the Mississippi River for routine bridge inspection.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:
Saturday, December 10, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures southbound on I-55 at LM-9.8 to repair washed out area. The right lane will be closed and two will remain open at all times.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Bridge repair over Gulf Stream Road, the CSXT R/R & US-70 (SR 1) Speed limit has been reduced Tuesday, May 31 through Thursday, December 15: There will be lane closures north and southbound on the outside lane on SR-385 over Gulf Stream Road LM 8.98 to work on bridge deck and approach slabs.
Restrictions: Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Bridge repair on SR-385 over I-240 will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385
Sunday, December 11, 6:30 a. m.-2:00 p. m.: There will be “rolling roadblocks” in 30 minute intervals closing east and westbound lanes on SR 385 at LM 0.6, just east of the I-240 interchange, to accommodate maintenance on existing overhead wire line crossings, while MLG&W crews transfer existing overhead conductors crossing from existing poles to new poles.  Please note, there are three (3) separate electrical conductors crossing SR 385; consequently, we may have up to three (3) separate closures to accommodate transferring the existing conductors to the new poles.  Weather Permitting.
