BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through June 2016, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike and Noise Walls on I-65

  • Thursday April 14, Friday April 15, Monday April 18 through Wednesday April 20, 9PM – 5AM, There will be lane closures of multiple lanes on I-65 in both directions from MM 87 (Trinity Lane) to MM 90 (Dickerson Road) to allow for permanent striping and snowplow marker installation. There will be at least two lanes open at all times in each direction. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Slope Stabilization & Construction of a Graded Solid Rock Buttress On I-65 Northbound

  • Saturday April 16, 5AM-7PM, There will be lane closures on I-65 northbound from MM 91 (north of Briley Parkway) to MM 92 (Old Hickory Blvd) to allow for hauling off of material.  Four lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair At Various Locations

  • Thursday April 14 & Friday April 15, 8PM–6AM, The I-24 eastbound ramp to Briley Parkway eastbound (MM54) will be closed to allow for saw cutting of deteriorated concrete. There will also be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway eastbound from MM 20 to MM 21 (between Clarksville Pike and Whites Creek Pike) to allow for saw cutting. There will be one lane open at all times.
  • Saturday April 16, 3AM through Monday April 18, 6AM, The I-24 eastbound ramp to Briley Parkway eastbound (MM54) will be closed to allow for saw cutting of deteriorated concrete. A detour will be in place for traffic heading to Briley Parkway eastbound. There will be one lane open on Briley Parkway at all times.
  • Monday April 18 through Wednesday April 20, 8PM–6AM, There will be alternating lane closures of the I-24 ramps in both directions to Briley Parkway in both directions to allow for saw cutting of deteriorated concrete. There will be one lane open at all times.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing On I-65 From The Cumberland River Bridge To Trinity Lane, Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday April 14, 8PM–5AM, There will be a lane closure of the two left lanes on I-65 northbound from MM 87 (Trinity Lane) bridge to allow for lane shifting. Two lanes will remain open.
  • Friday April 15, 8PM through Monday April 18, 5AM, There will be lane closures of the three right lanes on I-65 northbound at MM 87 (Trinity Lane bridge) to allow for bridge deck repair and removal of traffic control devices.  The ramp from Trinity Lane to I-65 northbound will be closed and there will be temporary lane closures of both directions of Trinity Lane to allow for bridge deck repair demolition and forming work. Two lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 6 Bridges at I-440/I-65 Interchange over US31 (SR 6, Franklin Pike)

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane shifts on ramps from I-440 eastbound to I-65 northbound and I-440 westbound to I-65 southbound to perform deck repairs, expansion joint repairs, and approach slab repairs. Restricted to 12ft lane widths.

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 in both directions between MM 94 (north of Vietnam Veterans Blvd) and MM 110 (north of White House) for proofing, wire pulling and CCTV foundations.
  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9PM -6AM (Excluding Weekends), There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions between MM 98 and MM103 (between Bethel Road and Millersville), for the installation of CCTV and guardrail.  One lane of traffic to remain open at all times.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Removal and Replacement of HOV Signing and Thermoplastic Markings on I-65

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 northbound starting at MM 74 (Old Hickory Boulevard) to MM 80 (I-440) and I-65 ramps starting at MM 90 (Briley Parkway) to MM 95 (Vietnam Veterans) to install HOV signs.
  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a left shoulder closure on I-65 in both directions at MM 80 (Just south of I-440) to install HOV signage.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of an overhead sign structure on I-24 Westbound

  • Thursday April 14 through Friday April 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 westbound at MM 43 (Briley Parkway) to prep site for overhead structure installation.
  • Saturday April 16, 9PM-5AM, There will be a partial ramp closure from I-24 westbound onto Briley Parkway and a right lane closure on I-24 westbound at MM 43 (Briley Parkway) to set up equipment to swing overhead structure, inside left lane will remain open to flowing traffic. There will be a rolling roadblock (approx. 10 minutes) to swing the overhead structure.
  • Sunday April 17, 9PM-5AM (alternate date), There will be a partial ramp closure from I-24 westbound onto Briley Parkway and right lane closure on I-24 westbound at MM 43 (Briley Parkway) to set up equipment to swing overhead structure, inside left lane will remain open to flowing traffic. There will be a rolling roadblock (approx. 10 minutes) to swing the overhead structure.

HICKMAN AND HUMPHREYS COUNTIES, Interchange Improvements on I-40 at SR 50

  • From now through November 2016, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in Humphreys/Hickman County at MM 147.5 to 148.5 in order to extend the I-40 ramps at SR 50.

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on SR 237 over I-24 (Exit 8)

  • Saturday, April 16, 7AM through 2PM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 eastbound at MM 8 (Exit 8 to SR 237) for bridge construction.  Motorists can expect some minor delays and should allow additional travel time, or seek an alternate route if all possible.  Law Enforcement and contractor personnel will be monitoring and directing motorists as needed to keep traffic flowing. 

ROBERTSON and SUMNER COUNTIES, Construction of new interchange on I-65 at S.R. 10

  • Thursday April 14 (weather permitting) and Friday April 15, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions at MM 121 (near KY state line) for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.
  • Monday April 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be a rolling road block along I-65 in both directions for pulling lines across the interstate.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing I-24 from Stones River Bridge (MM 78.5) to East of the Bridge over CSX Railroad (MM 82)

  • Friday April 15, 8PM through Monday April 18, 5AM, There will be partial lane closures on the I-24 westbound on ramp at MM 81 (from Hwy 231, Church Street onto I-24 WB) for removal and replacement of concrete pavement.  One lane will remain open to traffic.  One of the northbound turning lanes on Church Street (US 231) to I-24 westbound will also be closed. This partial closure will remain in place until concrete reaches specified strength.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on SIA Route Serving Nissan North America

  • From now through August 2016, Singer Road, from North Broad Street to the Nissan North America entrance, will be closed to through traffic.  This closure will remain in place until the project has been completed or until 8/31/16.  Local business access within the project limits will be provided.
  • Friday April 15, 6:30AM to 7PM, Northbound North Broad Street shoulder will be closed at Singer Road, for work on overhead power lines.  This closure will remain in place for Friday, April 15 only.  Additionally, a rolling road block will be required for North Broad Street to allow new lines to be pulled across travel lanes.

RUTHERFORD and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65, SR 840

  • Thursday April 14 through Friday April 15, and Monday April 18 through Tuesday April 19, 7PM-5AM, There will be lane closures at various locations on SR 840 in both directions to allow for milling. There will be one lane open at all times in both directions.
  • Thursday April 14 & Friday April 15, Monday April 18 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM – 3PM, There will be lane closures at various locations on SR 840 in both directions to allow for paving. There will be one lane open at all times in both directions.
  • Monday April 15, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions between MM 66 (McEwen) and MM 71 (Concord Rd) for drain cleaning.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek

  • From now through November 2016, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on US 70N/SR 24 over Caney Fork River

  • From now through July 2016, The US 70N/SR 24 bridge over the Caney Fork River will be closed for construction. A signed detour is in place.

TROUSDALE COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 260 over Little Goose Creek

  • From now through July 2016, SR 260 will be closed at the bridge over Little Goose Creek (LM 5.58) for bridge repair work. Detours will be in place.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM, Concord Road between Sunset Road and Nolensville Road will be reduced to one lane periodically for construction operations.  Traffic will be flagged at these times.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends) , There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 in both directions from the MM 28 (US 31) to MM 35 (Cool Springs Road) for bridge conduit installation and pull boxes.
  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends) , There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound from MM 76 (between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place) through MM 56 (Between SR 840 and Peytonsville Road) to install conduit and pull boxes.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 31 (SR 6) at Miles Johnson Parkway in Spring Hill

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a temporary lane closure on State Route 6/US31 at Miles Johnson Parkway.  Traffic will be affected in the northbound lanes and then the southbound lanes while crews pull wire and stand signals upright.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will periodic lane closures on Peytonsville Road and Goose Creek Bypass between Long Lane and Lewisburg Pike to install traffic loops.
  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 8PM to 5AM, (Excluding Weekends) There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions between MM 59 (SR 840) and MM 63 (north of Peytonsville Rd) for milling and paving operations. Two lanes will remain open.
  • Sunday April 17, 8PM to 5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 southbound between MM 59 and MM 63 for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Repair of the Bridges on SR 840 over Boston-Theta Road and Sycamore Creek

  • From now through August 31, 2016, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions on the bridges over Boston-Theta Rd (LM 13) to perform bridge repair operations.

Davidson County

  • Thursday April 14 through Wednesday April 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for sweeping operations.  This will affect the shoulders, ramps, and inside/outside lanes.
  • From now through Friday, April 15, 9AM–3PM, There will be a lane closure on Hillwood Blvd near Highway 70 South by the railroad bridge for Core Drilling. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 14, 8PM–2AM OR Tuesday April 19, 8PM-2AM (weather permitting), There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound from MM 205.8 to 46th Avenue for milling and paving. Two lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday April 14, 8PM–2AM OR Tuesday April 19, 8PM-2AM (weather permitting), There will be lane closures on I-440 westbound near I-40 junction for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

Dickson County

  • Saturday April 16, 5AM-11PM (weather permitting), There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 163 (SR 48) for First Response Environmental Group to remove diesel fuel impacted soil from the right side and median and then remediate the project site.

Giles County

  • Monday, April 18 and Tuesday, April 19, 8AM – 5PM, There will be an inside lane and shoulder closure on I-65 in both directions from MM 3 to MM 5 in order to construct an emergency median opening at the 4.3 mile marker.  One lane will remain open in both directions.

Wilson County

  • Thursday, April 14 through Friday April 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures I-40 eastbound at MM 226 for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

  • From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM, (Excluding weekends), SR-24 (Lebanon Pike) Lane closures for NES to Replace existing poles and transfer service to new poles. North and south bound lanes around intersection of Danyacrest Drive.
  • Tuesday April 19 through Friday May 20, 9AM-3PM, NES needs lane closures to remove and replace multiple utility poles along the south side of SR-255 (Harding Pike) at intersection of Antioch Pike.
  • From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM, (Excluding weekends), There will be lane closures in both directions on SR-254 (OHB) for NES to replace existing poles and transfer service to new poles. From Brentwood Commons Way to East of Oaks Drive.
  • From now through Friday April 22, (Excluding Weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR-11 (Dickerson Pike) Metro Water and Sewer placing 2-4” water services and attaching to an existing 6” water main around Evanston Avenue between Cleavend Street and Auction Way. 
  • From now through Friday April 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd from 26th St to 22nd St. in the City of Lakewood. Metro Water and Sewer/SBW Constructors to lining the sewer main on OHB.
  • Monday April 18 through Monday May 2 , 11PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 11 (Dickerson Pike) northbound for NES to transfer services from existing pole to new.
  • From now through Friday April 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Broadway St. (SR-1) between 1st and 2nd Ave. to set vehicle to excavation sidewalk.
  • From now through Friday April 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Broadway St. (SR-1) between 3rd Ave and 4th Ave on north side for excavation of sidewalk.
  • From now through Friday April 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Broadway St. (SR-1) between 8th Ave and 9th Ave, north side of roadway in front of Manuel Store to trench to NES manhole in Broadway Right turn lane.

Rutherford County

  • From now through Saturday April 30, 9AM to 5PM, There will be a temporary right lane closure on SR 1 westbound to facilitate the construction of a new right turn lane. One lane will remain open. Lane closures will be only as needed when work is adjacent to travel lane.
  • From now through Saturday April 30, 9AM to 5PM, There will be temporary left lane closures in both on SR 1 to facilitate the construction of a new left turn lane in the median. One lane will remain open each direction. Eastbound lane closures will not be in place after 4pm weekdays.  Lane closures will be only as needed when work is adjacent to travel lane.
