ANDERSON COUNTY, SR 61 between the Roane County Line (Log Mile 0) and Midway Drive (Log Mile 2.7): Motorists should be alert for lane closures through this project as crews construct turn lanes in this area.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129/SR 115 between US 411 and the Monroe County Line: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures daily with flagging personnel directing traffic during daylight hours through this resurfacing project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129 Alcoa Highway at Topside Road: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts through this intersection improvement project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129/SR 115 South between Topside Road and Lakeview Way: On Monday, April 11, 2016 through Thursday, April 14, 2016, motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews construct turn lane extensions.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129 Bridge over Nine Mile Creek at Log Mile 3.15: US 129 is reduced to one lane around the clock in this area and controlled by a temporary traffic signal as crews begin bridge repairs.  The bridge is reduced to a single 9 foot travel lane.  Traffic in excess of the 9 feet maximum width should follow signed detour route. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions, be prepared to stop and use extreme caution in this area.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North at Mile Marker 142: One lane of I-75 North has been re-opened through the rockslide area at Mile Marker 142 as of Thursday, March 24, 2016.  Wide loads in excess of 14 feet in width should follow US 25W at Exit 134 to LaFollette to SR 63 East to US 25E through the Cumberland Gap Tunnel in Harrogate back to I-75 at Exit 29 in Corbin, Kentucky.  Class 1 cargo is prohibited through the tunnel.  Motorists should expect delays through this area

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 135 and 140: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, narrowed lanes, closed shoulders and use caution as crews construct truck climbing lanes through this area. 

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South near Mile Marker 141: Motorists should use caution through this bridge repair project.

COCKE/JEFFERSON COUNTY, US 411/SR 35 at US 25W:  Motorists should be alert for a new traffic patterns and lane shifts through this project.  Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times through this construction project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 113 Intersection at Fish Hatchery Road and Chucky River Road: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures during daylight hours through this intersection improvement project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution through this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 160 at Merchants Greene: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts near this intersection. Motorists should expect possible rolling roadblocks and short duration traffic stops as crews perform bridge construction. Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and use extreme caution in this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, SR 34 North between Knox County Line and Boone Street:: On Monday, April 11, 2016, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures in this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. as crews perform roadway maintenance.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, SR 92 between Muddy Creek Road and Kinder Lane: On Tuesday, April 12, 2016, SR 92 will be closed and traffic detoured between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.as crews perform drainage tile replacement in this area. Motorists will be detoured using SR 363 and US 25/70 during this time.  Motorists should allow for extra travel time and use extreme caution in this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, SR 92 between US 411/SR35 and Dickey Road: On Wednesday, April 13, 2016, SR 92 will be closed and traffic detoured between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.as crews perform drainage tile replacement in this area. Motorists will be detoured using SR 363 and US 25/70 during this time.  Motorists should allow for extra travel time and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West between I-640 (Exit 385) and Papermill Drive (Exit 383): Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures nightly on Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.  Local traffic should consider using alternate routes during this time.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West near Mile Marker 390: On Monday, April 11, 2016, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform roadway maintenance.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 West near Mile Marker 405: On Tuesday, April 12, 2016 through Thursday, April 14, 2016, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform roadway maintenance.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 62 (Oak Ridge Hwy. /Western Ave.) between Schaad Road and I-640: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures throughout this widening project.  Motorists traveling in this area should be alert for workers and equipment present and be alert for changing traffic conditions and use caution through this area. KNOX COUNTY, SR 33 Maynardville Highway between Temple Acres Drive and the Union County Line:  Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times as work continues through this widening project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, traffic shifts and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 33 Maynardville Highway between Afton Drive and Emory Road:  Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures and lane shifts at various times as work continues through this construction project.  The crossover to Andersonville Pike between SR 33 northbound and southbound is closed as crews continue grade work in this area.  Traffic on SR 33 northbound wishing to access Andersonville Pike should follow detour signs to the intersection of SR 33 and Emory. Motorists should be alert for workers present, traffic shifts and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, US 441/SR 33/71 Henley Street near Clinch Avenue in Downtown Knoxville: KUB and its contractor will be performing work in Henley Street near Clinch Avenue. This work, part of the ongoing Downtown Century II Utilities Upgrade Project, will span between the I-275/I-40 on ramp at the northern end and W. Hill Avenue at the southern end. Work will first begin in the Henley Street/Clinch Avenue intersection, including necessary work between the intersection and the I-275/I-40 on ramp, before moving south. Work will be done in phases, and will not impact all of Henley Street at one time. Active construction with lane closures will occur overnight between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, with prep-work activities and lane closures taking place only when necessary between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this utility project.  This work has an expected completion date of midsummer 2016. KNOX COUNTY, SR 71 Chapman Highway between Gov. John Sevier Highway and the Sevier County Line: On Monday, April 11, 2016 through Friday, April 15, 2016, motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as crews perform roadside maintenance.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, reduce speed and use extreme caution through this area.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 131 and SR 331 at Harbison Crossroads: Motorists should be alert for new traffic patterns and lane shifts through this project.  Motorists should expect possible temporary lane closures at various times with flag persons directing traffic as work continues in this area.  Motorists should expect potential delays traveling through this area. 

LOUDON COUNTY, US 321/SR 73 between SR 2 and City Park Drive: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures and lane shifts at various times through this project. Motorists should be alert for changing conditions, workers present, construction equipment and use extreme caution through this area. LOUDON COUNTY, SR 444 at US 321/SR 73: Motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform construction activities near this location.  Motorists should be alert for slowed traffic and use extreme caution in this area.

MORGAN COUNTY, SR 116 Bridge over Stockstill Creek between Main Street and Cemetery Road in Petros:  SR 116 in this area is reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal as crews begin bridge repairs.  Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and use extreme caution in this area. 

MORGAN/ROANE COUNTY, US27/SR29 between Whetstone Road and SR 61:  Motorists should be alert for closed shoulders and possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times throughout this construction project. Motorists should be alert for reduced speeds and use extreme caution in this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 350 and 352: Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Exit 350 (Midtown) and Exit 352 (Kingston) as crews begin bridge repairs.  Traffic loads in excess of twelve feet (12’) in width are restricted through this area and must follow the designated detour route around this section of I-40.  The I-40 East Wide Load Detour Route

is take Exit 350 (Midtown), turn right onto Pine Ridge Road, then take a left onto US 70, then a left onto SR 58, and enter I-40 at Exit 352 (Kingston).  The I-40 West Wide Load Detour Route is take Exit 352 (Kingston), turn left onto SR 58, then take a right onto US 70, then a right onto Pine Ridge Road, and enter I-40 at Exit 350 (Midtown).  Motorists should expect potential long delays during peak travel times and use extreme caution while traveling through this area.  This project is estimated to be completed on or before May 26, 2016.

SEVIER COUNTY, SR 66 in Sevierville SR 139 (Douglas Dam Rd.) and SR 338 W (Boyd’s Creek Hwy):  On Monday, April 11, 2016 and Tuesday, April 12, 2016, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure northbound between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews construct sidewalks in this area. SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-81 at SR 394 (Exit 69): Motorists should be alert for construction activities on the exit and entrances ramps in this area as crews perform work at the SR 394 interchange. Motorists should be alert for workers present, changing conditions and use extreme caution in this area.

UNION COUNTY, SR 33 Bridge over Clinch River (Norris Lake): Traffic on State Route 33 has been shifted onto the newly constructed bridge over the Clinch River (Norris Lake).  Motorists should be alert for temporary traffic shifts and narrowed lanes approaching and exiting the bridge in both directions.  On Monday, April 11, 2016 through Friday, April 15, 2016, motorists should be alert for a temporary lane closure between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. as crews install poles in this area. Motorists should remain alert for workers present as crews complete this bridge construction project.  Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, SR 34 between Knob Creek Dock Road and Shady Lane: On Monday, April 11, 2016, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform expansion joint repairs on the Watauga River Bridge.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, SR 36 between Corum Road and Spurgeon Island Road: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures through this area at various times as crews complete items in this construction project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.
