Per TDOT Specifications, there will be no temporary lane closures permitted on interstates or state routes beginning at noon on Friday, May 27 through 6am Tuesday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day Holiday

CHESTER COUNTY, SR-22A: Safety Improvements: Guardrail Terminal Installation There will be temporary one-lane closures northbound and southbound beginning at State Route 100 log mile 11.9 to the Chester County Line log mile 14.95.

DYER COUNTY, I-155: Bridge Repair project on I-155 over the Mississippi River​
Thursday, July 23, 2015 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-155 over the Mississippi River Bridge, for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 14’ 10.5” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 6.5.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 11.7 and log mile 24.68.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 12.36.

DYER COUNTY, SR-78: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 13.58.

DYER COUNTY, SR-211: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 4.0 and log mile 8.87.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222: A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

Sunday, June 5, 7:00 a. m.-8:00 a. m.: I-40 at mile marker 42 will be shutdown eastbound & westbound for approximately 5 minutes at 2 different times to pull cable across I-40.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-15: : Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures between Fayette/Hardeman County line and Walton Road.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures from W. Main St. log mile 0.00 to E. Main St. log mile 1.68.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-22: There will be temporary lane closures northbound on State Route 22 between mile marker 6.05 and 6.50 for guardrail repair.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations on State Route 57 in Counce to bore multiple crossing in preparation of crossing signal installations

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on State Route 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR-15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

Tuesday, May 24, through Friday, May 27 AND Tuesday, May 31 through Friday, June 4: There will be temporary one-lane closures northbound and southbound for the entire length of the project on State Route 128, from State Route 226 (Airport Road) log mile 6.54 to south of One Stop Drive log mile 8.70.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140: Bridge Repair project on State Route 140 over Mill Creek at log mile 23.03 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday  May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: Bridge Repair project on State Route 21 over Reelfoot Spillway at log mile 7.61 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3: Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures from the TDOT Lauderdale Maintenance shop log mile 5.04 to log mile 9.13.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-88: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 180 log mile 19.04 to the Crockett County line log mile 22.93.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5: Monday, February 29 through Sunday, May 29, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures NB (right lane) and SB (right lane) on State Route 5 near the railroad bridge at Three Way to build a gas line. Two lanes will remain open in both directions.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-18: Construction of a concrete box bridge on State Route 18 over Meridian Creek log mile 4.70 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. A temporary signal will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-20 : Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Liberty/Claybrook Road log mile 20.10 to the Henderson County line log mile 22.02.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-152 : Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from near Hartmus Road log mile 7.70 to US-412 (State Route 20) log mile 8.63.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Construction of 2 concrete I-beam bridges, grading, drainage and paving Beginning Friday April 15, 2016 through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: There will be lane a closure on State Route 197, just east of Beech Bluff Rd. over branch at log miles 8.56-8.7 for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-3: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 30.42.

OBION COUNTY, SR-5: There will be a night time ”rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 15.58.

OBION COUNTY, SR-22: There will be a “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 26.80.

OBION COUNTY, SR-89: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Dyer County line log mile 0.00 to the Gibson County line log mile 8.48.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing on from west of Sycamore View (L.M. 15.54) to west of Davies Plantation Road (LM-22.98)

Tuesday, May 31, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: I-40 east and westbound will have nightly lane closures from Davies Plantation (log mile 22.98) to Sycamore View (log mile 15.54) for installation of traffic counter loops eastbound, and milling/paving operations westbound.

*Sunday, June 5, through Thursday, June 9, will serve as backup dates.

LOOK AHEAD

Friday, June 3, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, June 6, 5:00 a. m.: I-40 East “On” ramp from Germantown Parkway will be CLOSED for full depth saw cutting of joints and concrete replacement. Right Lane of Northbound Germantown Road adjacent to the Eastbound “On” Ramp to I-40 will be intermittently closed for concrete repair.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, May 25 through Wednesday, June 1: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 05, 2014, there are transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:

Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)

I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.

I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)

I-40 EB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E (new flyover) 1 lane Sam Cooper

I-240 EB ramp has 1 lane open.

I-240 EB to I-40 WB has the left lane closed.

Summer Ave. Exit:  The Summer Ave. exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of Wolf River Bridge.  Motorist must exit off I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.

Covington Pike is one lane in each direction at the I-40 Interchange.

Summer Ave. exit (Exit 12A) from I-40W will temporarily close until June 30, 2016.

Tuesday, May 24 & Wednesday, May 25, 8:00 a. m.-4:30 p. m.: The outside right two lanes of I-40 Westbound over the Mississippi River Bridge will be closed in order to repair lights on the bridge. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, May 26 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. & Friday, May 27, 9:00 a. m.-NOON.: The outside right two lanes of I-40 Eastbound over the Mississippi River Bridge will be closed in order to repair lights on the bridge. Weather Permitting.

Tuesday, May 31, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: Possible Intermittent Ramp Closures on I- 240 Northbound and Southbound will have nightly lane closures from I-40 Junction (log mile 0.00) near Jackson Avenue Exit 32 to I-240/I-55 Junction (Log mile 5.70) Near Elvis Presley Blvd. Ramps included are Norris Road, South Parkway, Lamar Avenue, Union Avenue and Madison Avenue.

Wednesday, June 1 through Friday, June 3, (Saturday, June 4 back-update) 8:00 p. m.-5:00

a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures I-240 eastbound from Park Avenue overpass to approximately 25 feet North of I-240 eastbound Poplar Avenue West overpass.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Kentucky Street to State Route 4. The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on State Route 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-51 (State Route 3) to US-70 (State Route 1). The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Bridge Repair on State Route 14 over overflows log mile 26.28, 26.58 & 26.74, Loosahatchie River log mile 26.90 and overflow log mile 27.25 will result in lane shifts every day. Beginning Monday, February 22, 9:00 a. m. until Thursday, June 30, there will be a temporary signal utilized with a 11’ 6” width restriction at log mile 26.74.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until July 2016.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures from the ramp at I-40 log mile 20.04 to north of State Route 204 log mile 23.51.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72): Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project to completed punch list items.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on State Route 175 (Byhalia Road) from south of Shelby Post Road to south of State Route 385 will cause possible lane closure.
Monday, May 16: Traffic shifts will be implemented for the motoring public traveling southbound on Byhalia Road and eastbound on Shelby East.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Bridge repair over Gulf Stream Road (log mile 8.98 L&R), the CSXT R/R (log mile-9.10 L&R), & US-70 (State Route1) (log mile 9.23 L&R)

Tuesday, May 31 through Monday, August 8, 2016: There will be lane closures northbound and southbound, outside lane on State Route 385 (I-269) over Gulf Stream Road log mile 8.98 to work on bridge deck and approach slabs, for duration of the project.

  • I-40, Henderson County, eastbound & westbound (MM 101.0 to MM 106.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-104, Henderson County, eastbound (MM 11.0 to M.M. 13.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Madison County, eastbound & westbound (MM 80.0 to MM 87.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-186, Madison County, southbound (MM 0.0 to MM 1.0), one lane will remain open.

  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound & southbound (MM 1.0 to MM 12.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, northbound & southbound, eastbound & westbound (MM 1.0 to MM 49.0), one lane will remain open.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-3: Wednesday, May 11 through Sunday, July 31, 2016: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line log mile 0.00 to Woodlawn Avenue log mile 9.60.

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Bridge Repair on State Route 54 over Hatchie River at log mile 9.60. A signal system will be utilized. On July 6, 2015, State Route 54 over Hatchie River, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 2” lane restriction. Eastbound lane is now closed to traffic for expansion joint repair and installation of steel reinforcements.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: Bridge Repair project on State Route 22 at the Old Salem Road log mile 22.76 and Terrell Road log mile 28.85 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.
