Middle Tennessee Weekly Construction Lane Closures June 30-July 6, 2016

Road construction won’t slow motorists across Tennessee over the July 4th holiday.  The Tennessee Department of Transportation will suspend all construction-related lane closures on interstates and state routes beginning at midnight on Thursday, June 30th through 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5th to provide maximum roadway capacity for holiday travelers. CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
  • From now through Friday July 1 and Wednesday July 6 through Friday July 8, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound for bridge work.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Snowplowable pavement marker relensing, various locations - mobile operation

  • Thursday June 30, Tuesday July 5, and Wednesday July 6, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-6AM
    • SR 12 in both directions from Wynnewood Dr to Montgomery Co line

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 6 Bridges at I-440/I-65 Interchange over US31 (SR 6, Franklin Pike)

  • From now through July 2016, There will be lane shifts on ramps from I-440 eastbound to I-65 northbound and I-440 westbound to I-65 southbound to perform deck repairs, expansion joint repairs, and approach slab repairs. Restricted to 11ft lane widths.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 155 (Briley Parkway) from McGavock Pike Ramp to I-65

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway in both directions for milling and paving from the McGavock Pike Ramp to I-65.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON, ROBERTSON and SUMNER COUNTIES, ITS Expansion on I-65

  • Thursday June 30 through Wednesday July 6 (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), 8PM-5AM,There will be alternating lane closures in both directions between MM 110 and 98 to stand CCTV poles.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Snowplowable pavement marker relensing, various locations – mobile operation

  • Thursday June 30, Tuesday July 5, and Wednesday July 6, 8PM-6AM
    • I-65 in both directions from I-40 to Trinity Lane (MM 87)
    • SR 155 (Briley Parkway) in both directions at I-24
    • SR 174 in both directions from US 31W to Two Mile Parkway
    • SR 24 in both directions from Monaco Drive to Andrew Jackson Parkway
    • SR 45 in both directions from Andrew Jackson Way to I-40
    • SR 106 in both directions from Williamson Co line to Harding Place

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Daily, 7AM-5PM (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 from Goose Creek to SR 52 for storm drain installation.

MACON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 261 from Antioch Rd to KY State Line

  • Daily excluding Sundays, 6AM-6PM (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions),, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 261 for resurfacing operations.

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from North of SR 99 (US 412) to Williamson Co Line

  • Nightly excluding Sundays, 8PM-6AM (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions from MM 53 (Saturn Parkway) to MM 46 (SR 99) for resurfacing operations.

MAURY COUNTY, Construction of Turn Lanes on US 412 (SR 99) at the intersection of Patterson Drive

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be lane closure for widening operations on US 412.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing I-24 from Stones River Bridge (MM 78.5) to East of the Bridge over CSX Railroad (MM 82)

  • Nightly,8PM-5AM (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions between Stones River Bridge (MM 78) and CSX Railroad (MM 82) for milling and paving. One lane will remain open in each direction.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Snowplowable pavement marker relensing, various locations - mobile operation

  • Thursday June 30, Tuesday July 5, and Wednesday July 6
    • SR 1 in both directions from Murray-Kittrell Rd to Cannon Co line
    • SR 266 in both directions from Gils St to SR 10/US231
    • SR 840 in both directions from MM 45 to MM 65

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on SIA Route Serving Nissan North America

  • From now through August 2016, Singer Road, from North Broad Street to the Nissan North America entrance, will be closed to through traffic.  This closure will remain in place until the project has been completed or until 8/31/16.  Local business access within the project limits will be provided.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek

  • From now through November 2016, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from Concord road to Davidson Co Line

  • Nightly (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions from south of Concord Rd (MM 70) to the Davidson County Line (MM 74) for resurfacing. At least two lanes will remain open each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 431 from Maury Co Line to Critze Lane

  • Daily, 8AM-4PM (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be lane closures on US 431 for resurfacing.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on US 31 (SR 6)

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM and Nightly 6PM-5AM (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be a moving lane closure for installation of stripes, snowplowable markers and markings on US 31 from SR 248 to SR 397. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Repair of the Bridges on SR 840 over Boston-Theta Road and Sycamore Creek

  • From now through August 31, 2016, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions on the bridges over Boston-Theta Rd (LM 13) to perform bridge repair operations.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 266 from SR 265 to Moriah Drive

  • Starting Tuesday July 5 and continuing daily 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions of SR 266 from SR 265 to Moriah Drive.

  • Tuesday July 5, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 24 at George L David Blvd for waterline work. One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Tuesday July 5 and Wednesday July 6, 10AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks for blasting on I-65 between Long Hollow Pike and Vietnam Veterans Blvd.
  • Tuesday July 5 through Wednesday July 12, 10AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks for blasting on I-65 between MM 66 and 67 (McEwen Drive area)
  • From now through Tuesday, July 22 (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), 5:50AM – 6:30AM, There will be rolling road blocks on Charlotte Ave between 11th Ave and 10th Ave for blasting.
  • From now through Wednesday July 6, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM (excluding holiday lane closure restrictions), There will be a lane closure of the right lane on state route 254 between Benzing Rd and Brentridge Drive for the construction of a turn lane.

 

Sumner County

  • Tuesday July 5 and Wednesday July 6, 9AM-3PM, SR 25 will be closed at MM 17.5 for CSX to remove a railroad crossing. Detours will be in place.
  • Tuesday July 5 and Wednesday July 6, 9AM-3PM, SR 25 will be closed at MM 14.5 for CSX to repair railroad crossings. Detours will be in place.
