CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through August 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
  • Wednesday August 24 through Wednesday August 31, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane of traffic closed on I-40 at MM 190 in both directions for milling and paving operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 6 Bridges at I-440/I-65 Interchange over US31 (SR 6, Franklin Pike)

  • From now through October 2016, There will be lane shifts on ramps from I-440 eastbound to I-65 northbound and I-440 westbound to I-65 southbound to perform deck repairs, expansion joint repairs, and approach slab repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from Armory Drive to 8th Avenue Bridge (I-65/I-40 Junction)

  • Nightly excluding Saturday, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures and temporary ramp closures on I-65 in both directions from south of Armory Drive (MM 79) to the bridge over 8th Avenue South (MM 82), west of the I-40/I-65 junction.  Drivers should expect delays during these construction activities and consider alternate routes.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Repair on I-65 from Trinity Lane to Cumberland River Bridge

  • Nightly (excluding Fridays and Saturdays) 8PM-5AM , There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions from the Trinity Lane bridge to the Cumberland River bridge and Spring Street bridge for resurfacing operations.
  • Friday, August 26, 8PM through Sunday August 28, 12PM, There will be alternating lane closures at the Trinity Lane Bridge on I-65 in both directions for application bridge deck work. Two lanes will remain open in each direction. Drivers should expect delays during these construction activities and consider alternate routes.                           

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 155 (Briley Parkway) from McGavock Pike Ramp to I-65

  • Nightly (excluding Friday and Saturday), 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway in both directions for milling and paving from the McGavock Pike Ramp to I-65.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTY, ITS Expansion

  • Nightly, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions from MM 57 to MM 70.5 to install CCTV poles and guardrail.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 254 (Old Hickory Blvd) from SR 100 to US 431 (Hillsboro Pike)

  • Starting Friday August 26 and continuing daily excluding Sunday, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 254 in both directions from SR 100 to US 431 for milling and traffic loop installation. One lane will remain open.   

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Daily, 7AM-5PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 from Goose Creek to SR 52 for storm drain installation.

MACON COUNTY, SR 56 Resurfacing from Spivey Street to Kentucky State Line

  • Starting Monday, August 29 and continuing Daily, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 56 from Spivey Street to the Kentucky state line for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from North of SR 99 (US 412) to Williamson Co Line

  • Nightly excluding Friday and Saturday, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 northbound from MM 53 (Saturn Parkway) to MM 46 (SR 99) for scoring, striping, and installation of snowplowable markers.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, ITS Expansion

  • Nightly, 9PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound at MM 109 to install DMS foundations.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Retracing pavement markings

  • Nightly starting Sunday, August 21, 8PM-5AM, There will be moving lane closures on I-65 in both directions from MM 104 to MM 122 in order to retrace existing thermoplastic markings.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, SR 266 Resurfacing from Nolan Drive to SR 102 including bridge deck repair

  • Starting Thursday, August 25 and continuing nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be a ramp closure of the I-24 eastbound on-ramp at Exit 70 (Almaville Rd) for asphalt repairs.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Over Broad (New Interchange at SR 1/SR 96 and SR 10

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be night work to prepare for shifting traffic to the newly constructed ramps on Old Fort Parkway and Memorial Blvd.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on SIA Route Serving Nissan North America

  • From now through August 2016, Singer Road, from North Broad Street to the Nissan North America entrance, will be closed to through traffic.  This closure will remain in place until the project has been completed or until 8/31/16.  Local business access within the project limits will be provided.

RUTHERFORD, WILSON, WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, Restriping on I-840

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-840 from MM 30 to MM 70 in various locations for restriping. One lane will remain open.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek

  • From now through November 2016, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 235 at New Hope Road to the Robertson Co line

  • Daily, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 258 from New Hope Road to the Robertson County line, for de-grassing and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from Concord road to Davidson Co Line

  • Nightly (excluding Friday and Saturday), 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions from south of Concord Rd (MM 70) to the Davidson County Line (MM 74) for resurfacing operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 248 (Goose Creek Bypass) from US 31 to US 431

  • Wednesday August 24 through Saturday August 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 248 from Goose Creek Bypass to Lewisburg Pike for milling operations. One lane will be open at all times.    
  • Monday August 29 and Tuesday August 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be intermittent road closures for resurfacing operations. A signed detour will be in place.    

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Repair of the Bridges on I-840 over Boston-Theta Road and Sycamore Creek

  • From now through August 31, 2016, There will be lane closures on I-840 in both directions on the bridges over Boston-Theta Rd (LM 13) to perform bridge repair and milling and paving operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, ITS Expansion

  • Nightly, 9PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-840 in both directions at MM 28 to MM 31 for CCTV poles and guardrail installation.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248

  • Thursday and Friday, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure at MM 60 for guardrail repair.

Davidson County

  • Sundays through Fridays, 8PM-5AM and Mondays through Saturdays, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closure on SR 6 (8th Ave South) between Craighead St and Melpark Drive for the construction of a turn lane.
  • Sundays through Thursdays, 8PM-5AM, and Mondays through Fridays 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Rosa L Parks Blvd between Harrison Street and Jefferson for utility installation.
  • Tuesday, August 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closure on Dickerson Pike (SR 11) at Williamson Road for milling and paving.
  • Friday, August 26, 8PM through Saturday, August 27, 8PM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on SR 1 (US 70S) near the former Bellevue Mall for removal of road island and installation of turning lane. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Starting Thursday August 25 and continuing daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 254 between Stone Brook Drive and Oakes Drive for the construction of a turning lane.

Dickson County

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations on I-40 Dickson County to replace snowplowable marker lenses.

Humphreys County

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations on I-40 to replace snowplowable marker lenses. This will be a mobile operation.
  • Tuesday, August 30, 8PM-2AM, There will a ramp closure on the I-40 westbound off ramp at Exit 143 (SR 13) for milling and paving.

Montgomery County

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations on I-24 in Montgomery County to replace snowplowable marker lenses. This will be a mobile operation.

Robertson County

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations on I-65 in Robertson County to replace snowplowable marker lenses. This will be a mobile operation.

Smith County

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations on I-40 in Smith County to replace snowplowable marker lenses. This will be a mobile operation.

Sumner County

  • Friday August 26 through Sunday August 28, 8PM-6AM, SR 174 will be closed between MM 16 and MM 29 for cross drain replacement. Traffic will be detoured on SR 109 and SR 6.  

Wilson County

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be mobile operations at various locations on I-40 and I-840 in Wilson County to replace snowplowable marker lenses. This will be a mobile operation.
  • Friday, August 26 and Saturday August 29, 7PM-2AM, There will be a right lane closure at Watertown Exit 239 for Wilson County State Fair ramp traffic. One lane will remain open. Drivers should expect delays during this time and consider an alternate route.

Williamson County

  • Weekdays starting Thursday, August 18, 10AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound at Exit 69 for blasting (Cool Springs area).
  • Monday August 29 through Thursday August 31, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure of the turning lane on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Parkway) before SR 6 (Franklin Road) for median work. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through August 31, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-440 at the Nolensville Road exit for Piedmont Natural Gas.
