CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424: Construction of a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge on SR 424 over Roan Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

DYER COUNTY, I-155:  Wednesday, September 14 through Wednesday, September 21:  No lane closures at this time. Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH. Traffic will be open in both lanes.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the 5-lane section (log mile 6.26) to near Tomlin Road (log mile 8.86)

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-43 (US-45E): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from north of Cades/Atwood Road to the Weakley County line, including bridge deck repair.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-77: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Dyer County line (log mile 0.00) to SR-5 (US-45W) (log mile 9.00).

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-185: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US 45W (SR 5) (log mile 0.00) to the 90-degree turn (log mile 0.49).

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: Bridge repair project on SR 100 over overflow at log mile 7.58
Tuesday, May 31 through May 31, 2017: There will be lane closures in both directions on SR 100, for duration of the project.
Restrictions: On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, a signal system was put in place. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11-foot lane restriction.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on SR 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-Bridge over I-40 at Hawkins Lane: Bridge Repair project over I-40 at Hawkins Lane (log mile 0.47) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-Bridge over I-40 at SR-19 (Exit 60): Bridge Repair project at log mile 16.62 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Friday, September 16, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, September 19, 6:00 a.m.: There will be temporary intermittent lane closures on I-40 in both directions for full depth bridge repair on SR 19 Overpass Bridge.
Tuesday, September 20 through Thursday, September 22, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be temporary intermittent lane closures for I-40 in both directions for full depth bridge repair on Mercer Road/SR 19 overhead bridge at Exit 60.
Restrictions: Tuesday, July 5. 2015, through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ 3” lane restriction.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-76: Wednesday, August 3 through Friday, September 30.  Resurfacing work will cause possible lane closures in both directions daily from log mile 9.7 (Near Sunny Hill Road) to log mile 12.76 (SR 1/Brownsville Bypass).

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: Safety Improvements: Temporary one-lane closures in both directions from Smith Road to the Kentucky State Line.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140: Bridge Repair project on SR 140 over Mill Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions:  Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10-foot lane restriction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on SR 218, from SR 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (SR 54). Friday May 8, 2015, through Monday, October 31, 2016: Iron Banks Road will be closed to thru traffic.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: Bridge Repair project on SR 21 over Reelfoot Spillway will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions: Tuesday, July 19, through Wednesday, November 30, 2016, a signal system will be utilized and traffic will be reduced to one 9’ 9” lane in each direction.

Lake County, SR-21:  The construction of a concrete I-Beam bridge on SR 21 over Branch Creek (L.M. 1.20), including grading, drainage, and paving.  Monday, September 12, 2016, through approximately September 2017: SR 21 will be closed to thru traffic.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3: Friday July 29 through Friday, October 28: Intersection improvements at Industrial Drive. SR 3 northbound, outside lane will be closed. A taper using barrier rail will begin at log mile 11.00 and extend to the intersection at Industrial Drive (log mile 11.35). Speed limit has been reduced to 45MPH.
Restrictions: SR 3 northbound, inside lane will be open with a 12-foot lane restriction.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from New Wilson Road (log mile 15.72) to SR 88 ramp (log mile 20.18).

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-19: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from near ARP-Central Road (log mile 16.00) to near Volunteer Drive (log mile 18.99).

MADISON COUNTY, SR-18: Construction of a concrete box bridge on SR 18 over Meridian Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. A temporary signal will be utilized.
Restrictions: Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11-foot lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186, north of I-40 to south of Channing Way Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from just North of I-40 (LM 3.35) to South of Channing Way (LM 4.44). At least one lane will remain open at all times.

  • Thursday, September 15, 11PM-6AM: The ramp from I-40 West to SR 186 North (Exit 80B) will be closed. Once work is completed on Exit 80B, the ramp will reopen, and the ramp from SR 186 South to I-40 West will be closed. Only one (1) ramp will be closed at any given time. Weather Permitting
  • Saturday, September 17, 6AM through Monday, September 19, 6AM: There will be temporary lane closures on SR 186, in both directions, on the bridges over Vann Drive (LM 3.73). At least one lane will remain open at all times. Weather Permitting
  • Monday, September 19, through Saturday, September 24, 8PM-6AM: There will be temporary lane closures on SR 186, in both directions, from just north of I-40 (LM 3.35) to south of Channing Way (LM 4.44), including the Vann Drive ramps. One lane will remain open at all times. THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Construction of 2 concrete I-beam bridges, grading, drainage and paving. Friday April 15, 2016 through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: There will be a lane closure on SR 197, just east of Beech Bluff Road, over branch.
Restrictions: Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11-foot lane restriction.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-15: Resurfacing on US 64 (SR 15) from the end of the 4-lane section (log mile 22.79) to the Hardin County Line (log mile 26.06).N

MCNAIRY COUNTY. SR-117: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 142 to US 64 (SR 15).

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-117: Bridge Repair project on SR 117 over Snake Creek.
Tuesday, May 31 through May 31, 2017: There will be lane closures in both directions on SR 117 Beginning Tuesday, June 14, a signal system will be utilized.
Restrictions: Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11-foot lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-215 (US-45E): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-45E (SR 43) (log mile 0.00) to the Kentucky State line (log mile 2.07), including bridge deck repair.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing on from west of Sycamore View (L.M. 15.54) to west of Davies Plantation Road (LM-22.98)

  • Friday, September 16, 8:00 p.m. through Saturday, September 17, 8:00 p.m.: All ramps from I-40 West to Germantown Road will be CLOSED for milling and paving of shoulders. Each ramp will be opened when paving operations are completed.
  • Saturday, September 17, 6:00 a. m. through Sunday, September 18, 8:00 p. m.: I-40 East off-ramp to Whitten Road will be CLOSED for full-depth saw-cutting and concrete replacement.
  • Saturday, September 17, 1:00 p. m. through Sunday, September 18, 6:00 p. m.: All ramp shoulders from I-40 West at Appling Road will be CLOSED for milling and paving operations. Ramps will remain open during shoulder closures.
  • Monday, September 19 & Tuesday, September 20, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 West will have nightly lane closures, from Davies Plantation at log mile-22.98 to Sycamore View at log mile15.54, for paving operations.

LOOK AHEAD:
Friday, September 23, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, September 26, 5:00 a. m.: I-40 East off-ramp to Whitten Road will be CLOSED for full-depth saw-cutting and concrete replacement.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, September 14 through Wednesday, September 21: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. There are lane shifts on I-40 in both directions. Beginning December 05, 2014, there are transitions on Canada Road in both directions.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240– Washout Repair
Thursday, September 8, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be a lane closure of I-240 North at mile marker 27.2 for washout repairs. Two lanes will remain open.  Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 beginning north of SR-385 and extending to north of Walnut Grove Road: Thursday, September 15, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.: I-240 East on-ramp from Poplar Avenue westbound will be CLOSED for repair to high mast light standard.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:
Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.
Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)
I-240: There are inside shoulder closures in both directions of I-240, between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of I-240 South is also CLOSED in this same section.
I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.
(1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)
I-40 EB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.
(1 lane I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E/new flyover, 1 lane Sam Cooper)
I-240 EB ramp: 1 lane will remain open.
I-240 EB to I-40 WB: Left lane is closed.
Summer Ave Exit:  The Summer Ave exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of the Wolf River Bridge. Motorist must exit I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.
Covington Pike: One lane in each direction is open at the I-40 Interchange.
Summer Avenue: Beginning Wednesday, August 10, at 9:00 a.m., the eastbound, outside lane will be closed.

  • Wednesday, September 14 & Thursday, September 15, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 East, beginning north of the Covington Pike interchange (LM-9.2) and extending south of the Covington Pike interchange (LM-10.4), to allow for milling and paving. The I-40 East ramps to/from Covington Pike (Exit 10) will be CLOSED for paving operations. Detours will be in place for the ramp closures. 
    • Friday, September 16 at 8:00 p.m. through Monday, September 19, 6:00 a.m. will serve as backup weekend.
  • Friday, September 16, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, September 19, 6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 East, beginning north of the Covington Pike interchange (LM-9.2) and extending south of the Covington Pike interchange (LM-10.4), to allow for milling and paving.  The I-40 East ramps to/from Covington Pike (Exit 10) will be CLOSED for paving operations.  Detours will be in place for the ramp closures. 
    • Monday, September 19 and Tuesday, September 20 from 8PM–6AM will serve as backup dates.
  • Saturday, September 17, 6:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.: The outside lane of I-40 West will be CLOSED, beginning at the Covington Pike overpass (LM-10.0) and extending north of the Covington Pike interchange (LM-9.2), INCLUDING the I-40 West on-ramp from Covington Pike, to allow for grinding, striping and removal of traffic control devices. A detour will be in place for the ramp closure. 
    • Sunday, September 18 and Saturday, September 24, 6:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. will serve as backup dates.

LOOK AHEAD:

  • Friday, September 23, 8:00 p.m. through Saturday, September 24, 7:00 p.m.: The merger from Sam Cooper Blvd East to I-40 East will be CLOSED to allow for concrete paving to tie-in to the Wolf River Bridge. A detour will be in place for the closed merger.
  • Friday, September 23, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, September 26, 6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 West, from Summer Avenue to Covington Pike, to allow for final asphalt surfacing. The on-ramp from Summer Avenue to I-40 West will also be closed when the outside lane of I-40 West is closed. A detour will be in place during the ramp closure.
    • Monday, September 26 through Wednesday, September 28, 8PM-6AM will serve as backup dates.
  • Saturday, September 24, 6:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.: The outside lane on I-40 East will be CLOSED, beginning north of the Covington Pike interchange (LM-9.2) and extending south of the Covington Pike interchange (LM-10.4), to allow for grinding, striping, and removal of traffic control devices in order to open the new exit ramp. During this closure, the I-40 East off-ramp (Exit 10) to Covington Pike will be CLOSED. A detour will be in place for the ramp closure. 
  • Saturday, September 24, & Sunday, September 25, 6:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.: The left lane of I-240 will be CLOSED in both directions, from the interchange to Walnut Grove, to allow for removal of portable barrier rail.
    • Monday, September 26 through Wednesday, September 28, 8:00PM--6:00AM will serve as backup dates.
  • Saturday, September 24, 6:00 a. m.–12:00 p. m.: The exit from I-240 East to I-40 East (Exit 12C/Nashville) will be CLOSED to allow for realignment of the barrier rail and traffic control devices.  A detour will be in place for the ramp closure. 
  • Monday, September 26, 8:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.: Two (2) outside lanes of I-240 West will be CLOSED, beginning at LM-12.4 (south of 40/240 JCT) and extending to LM-13.1 (Walnut Grove Road), to allow for installation of overhead signs. There will be INTERMITTENT temporary interstate closures (20-minute rolling roadblocks) while the overhead signs are being lifted and secured.
  • Monday, September 26, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-240 East, beginning at LM-13.1 (Walnut Grove Road) and extending to LM-12.4 (south of 40/240 JCT), to allow for installation of overhead structures. There will be INTERMITTENT temporary interstate closures (20-minute rolling roadblocks) while the overhead structures are being lifted and secured. 
  • INTERMITTENT lane closures of all interstate routes and Sam Cooper Blvd for the purpose of milling and/or paving, weekdays 8PM-6AM and weekends from Friday 8PM through Monday 6AM. Specific dates and locations will be given when available depending on weather and work progression.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel-plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line to Woodlawn Avenue.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project, from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed in both directions. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until October 2016.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on SR 175 (Byhalia Road), from south of Shelby Post Road to south of SR 385, will cause possible lane closure.
Monday, May 16: Traffic shifts will be implemented southbound on Byhalia Road and eastbound on Shelby East.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Bridge repair over Gulf Stream Road, the CSXT R/R & US-70 (SR 1)
Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. Exit from SR 385 northbound to SR 1 (Hwy 70) is CLOSED until approximately October, 31, 2016.
Restrictions: Saturday, June 18 through Wednesday, November 30, there is an 11-foot width restriction from log mile 8.98 to log mile 9.23.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-3: Wednesday, May 11 through Sunday, October 31: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line (log mile 0.00) to Woodlawn Avenue (log mile 9.60).

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Beginning Thursday, June 23 through Wednesday, August 31. Bridge Repair on SR 54 over Hatchie River.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: Bridge Repair project on SR 22 at Old Salem Road and Terrell Road will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-43: Concrete repair work will cause the SR 43E on-ramp to be partially CLOSED between mile marker 14.5 and mile marker 15.0.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-124: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Stafford Store Road (log mile 6.36) to the Carroll county line (log mile15.77).
