DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing On I-24 From SR 6 To The I-40 Westbound Ramps & Bridge Rehab On I-24 Over Spring St. & Oldham St.

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM (excluding Friday and Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on Spring Street for texture coating. One lane will remain open. There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions for paving, permanent striping and texture coating.  One lane will remain open in each direction. There will be an outside lane closure on I-40 WB (MM 211.0) for steel repairs/spot painting of damaged bolts. 

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of noise walls at various locations

·        Starting Monday, April 30 and continuing nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 over Clifton Avenue (MM 206) to install portable barrier rail and a shoulder closure for parapet repairs.

 

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTY, On-Call Signing

·        Nightly, 8PM-6AM (excluding Friday and Saturday), There will be inside lane closures in both directions on I-65 as needed, to replace and modify the existing HOV signs.  The lane closures will be placed for 2-mile sections at a time.

 

DAVIDSON and RUTHERFORD COUNTY, On-Call Signing

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM (excluding Friday and Saturday), There will be inside lane closures in both directions on I-24 as needed, to replace and modify the existing HOV signs.  The lane closures will be placed for 2-mile sections at a time.

 

DAVIDSON and WILSON COUNTY, On-Call Signing

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be inside lane closures in both directions on I-40 as needed, to replace and modify the existing HOV signs.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The Improvement Of The Intersection On SR 1 (US 70S) At McCrory Lane & The CSX Railroad (L.M. 0.99)

·        Daily (excluding weekends), 9AM-3:30PM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 70 for striping.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 254 (Old Hickory Blvd.) from SR 106 to Granny White Pike (L.M. 2.77-5.44)

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Old Hickory Blvd. from Hillsboro Rd. (SR 106) to Granny White Pk. for installing loops.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The repair of the slope located west of the roundabout on Two Rivers Parkway at SR 155, including replacement of storm drainage structures (L.M. 9.89)

·        Through May 2018, The exit lane of Gaylord Drive to the Two Rivers roundabout will be closed. Also, the westbound entrance to Gaylord Drive will be closed to repair the slope and to replace storm drainage structures on Two Rivers Drive.   

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Two Rivers for  and placing rip rap on slope and removing barrier wall.


DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, drainage, signals, and paving on SR 1 from Vultee Blvd. to Jupiter Drive (L.M. 22.50-22.96)

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure in both directions to install a 8" water Tie-in line and box culvert. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Intersection Improvements on SR 6 (Franklin Road) at SR 255 (Harding Place/Battery Lane)

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 for boring and to install the traffic lights. One lane will remain open in each direction.

·        Saturday, April 28, 8AM-4PM, There will be a lane closure for concrete work. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

MAURY COUNTY, The repair of bridges on S.R.246 over Carters Creek and Mayhorn Branch

·        Daily 9AM-3:30PM, There will be temporary lane closures on S.R. 166 for the installation of barrier wall.

 

MAURY COUNTY, The grading and drainage of a concrete box bridge at US 31 and North Pointe Road in Columbia

·        Daily (excluding weekends), 9AM-3:30PM, There will be lane closures on Hwy. 31 for asphalt paving and milling operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Construction of a new interchange including a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge and paving on SR-166 at US 43 (SR 6) in Mount Pleasant

·        Daily (excluding weekends), 9AM-3:30PM There will be lane closures in both directions on US-43 for blasting operations.

 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Construction of new interchange on I-65 at SR 109

·        From now through May 2018, The inside lane on I-65 northbound at MM 121 will be closed for removal of existing median wall and construction of new overhead signs. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The resurfacing on I-24 from near  Rocky Fork Road (LM 5.20) to near Baker Road (LM 7.75)

·        Friday, April 27, 8PM, through Monday, April 30, 5AM, There will be lane closures on I-24 eastbound between MM 68-71 for bridge repair.  There will also be a ramp closure at Exit 70 eastbound on-ramp for bridge work and lane closures on SR 102 for the bridge work on I-24.  A detour will be in place.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 1 from the Davidson County line (LM 0.00) to Ken Pilkerton Drive (LM 6.42)

·        Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for milling, loop wires, casting adjustments and guardrail. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 266 from I-24 Interchange (LM 0.00) to Threet Industrial Blvd (LM 3.33)

·        Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 266 for milling operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The repair of the bridge on US 41 A  SR 16) over the Harpeth River (LM 1.71)

·        Friday, April 27, 8AM-4PM, There will be a road closure on SR 16 set LM 1.71 to set beams for phase 2 .  There is a wide load detour in place.

 

RUTHERFORD, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, The on-call cable barrier repair on various Interstate and State Routes

·        Daily, 8AM-4PM, There will be a temporary lane closures on I-840 in both directions between MM 14 and 66 to install cable barrier.

 

RUTHERFORD, WILSON COUNTY, The Resurfacing of I-840 with OGFC from East Fork Stones River Bridge in Rutherford County to just North of the Wilson County line

·        Nightly (excluding weekends), There will be ramp closures on I-840 EB and WB at Exit 61 and Exit 65 for ramp repair.  Only one ramp will be closed in each direction.  There will be a detour utilized.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Rockfall Mitigation on SR 25 (L.M. 8.5)

·        Daily, 9AM-2PM, There will be a temporary road closure on SR 25 for blasting operations. This operation should take no more than 30 minutes.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 174 north of A.B. Wade Road to SR 52

·        Daily (excluding Sundays), 6AM-6PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 174 for paving activities.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, and Paving Work on SR 6 (Franklin Road) from south of Moores Lane (L.M. 15.93) to Concord Road (18.53)

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating temporary lane closures and/or intermittent stoppages of traffic (one direction at a time) northbound between Wikle Road and Long Road for placing barrier rail.

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures north and south of Moore's Lane and Wikle Road for utility work. One lane will remain open in each direction.

BENTON COUNTY (Region 4)

Saturday April 28 and Sunday April 29, 5AM-9PM, Traffic will be reduced to one lane on I-40 westbound from MM 135-131 for paving (Tennessee River bridge area).

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Daily, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) between Dickerson Rd and Whites Creek Pike for milling and paving.

 

Nightly (excluding Friday April 27 and Saturday April 28), 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-440 in both directions for milling and paving work. At least one lane will remain open.

 

Wednesday, April 25 through Friday, April 27, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closures on SR 24 (Lebanon Road) between the Stones River Bridge and the YMCA for striping. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 100 at Pasquo Road for replacing storm drainage and installation of conduit for traffic signals, along with paving work. Traffic control will be utilized. One lane will remain open.

 

Sunday, April 29, 6AM-6PM, NES will have rolling roads block on I-40 east of exit 221to install new conductor in Hermitage.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 10 in both directions at LM 7.4 for miscellaneous operations.

 

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 2 southbound at LM 3.4 for miscellaneous operations.

 

SUMNER COUNTY

Thursday, April 26 through Saturday, April 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be a right lane closure on SR 174 eastbound intersection to SR 386 for installation of a turning lane. One lane will remain open. There will be a right lane closure on SR 386 eastbound for installation of right-in, right out. The left lane eastbound will also be closed for installation of concrete median in existing lane. The lane closure will alternate between the left and right lanes. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY

Daily, 9AM-2:30PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on SR 109 between Callis Road and I-40 for rock blasting/excavation for THE VENUE Project.

 

Sunday, April 29, 6AM-8AM, AT&T will have a rolling roadblock to overlash fiber across I-40 at Exit 232 at SR-109 (Safari Camp Road).

 

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.  Information in this report is provided to the Department of Transportation by the contractors.  Most work is weather dependent and subject to change due to inclement weather.
