DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Cheatham County Line to U.S. 70S (SR 1)

·        Nightly starting Sunday, May 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions from MM 191-196 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from west of Church Street to east of Arlington Avenue

·        Thursday, May 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions for patching from MM 209-213. One lane will remain open.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 254 (Old Hickory Blvd.) from SR 106 to Granny White Pike (L.M. 2.77-5.44)

·        Saturday May 19 and Sunday May 20, 7AM-5PM, Monday May 21 through Wednesday, May 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Old Hickory Blvd. from Hillsboro Rd. (SR 106) to Granny White Pk. for installing loops.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The repair of the slope located west of the roundabout on Two Rivers Parkway at SR 155, including replacement of storm drainage structures (L.M. 9.89)

·        Through May 2018, The exit lane of Gaylord Drive to the Two Rivers roundabout will be closed. Also, the westbound entrance to Gaylord Drive will be closed to repair the slope and to replace storm drainage structures on Two Rivers Drive.   

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Two Rivers for  and placing rip rap on slope and removing barrier wall.


DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, drainage, signals, and paving on SR 1 from Vultee Blvd. to Jupiter Drive (L.M. 22.50-22.96)

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure in both directions for box culvert deliveries. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Intersection Improvements on SR 6 (Franklin Road) at SR 255 (Harding Place/Battery Lane)

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 for removal of old signal poles. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The Random On-Call pavement marking on various interstates and state routes

·        Sunday, May 20, through Tuesday, May 22, 9PM-5AM, There will be retracing for the installation of arrows, crosswalks and stop bars.

 

DAVIDSON and SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 386

·        Daily, 8PM-5AM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) from MM 0 in Davidson County to MM 4.30 in Sumner County for the installation of construction signs.

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane shifts on ramps for concrete repairs.

 

HICKMAN COUNTY, The repair of the bridge on I-40 over S.R. 230 (L.M. 4.21)

·        Saturday, May 19, 7PM-9AM, I-40 in both directions will be temporary closed at exit 152 (Bucksnort/SR 230) in order to restripe and reset barrier rail on I-40 and relocate power lines away from the construction area.  Traffic will be detoured on interstate ramps to bypass construction. Drivers should expect delays.

·        Saturday, May 19, 7PM-9AM, SR 230 will be closed under I-40.  

 

MAURY COUNTY, The repair of bridges on S.R.246 over Carters Creek and Mayhorn Branch

·        Through June 2018, The roadway is reduced to one lane. Temporary traffic signals are in place.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Construction of a new interchange including a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge and paving on SR-166 at US 43 (SR 6) in Mount Pleasant

·        Daily (excluding weekends), 9AM-3:30PM There will be lane closures in both directions on US-43 for bridge deck welding and blasting.

 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Construction of new interchange on I-65 at SR 109

·        From now through May 2018, The inside lane on I-65 northbound at MM 121 will be closed for removal of existing median wall and construction of new overhead signs. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The Emergency Repair of the Bridge over I-840 on the Ramp from I-840WB to I-24EB

·        Friday, May 18, 8PM through Saturday, May 19, 8PM, The ramp from I-840 westbound to I-24 eastbound will be closed for bridge repair work. Traffic heading to I-24 eastbound will be detoured to I-24 westbound to Exit 70.   I-840 eastbound will be closed at Exit 53.  Traffic will be detoured to I-24 eastbound and turned around at Exit 80.            

·        Saturday, May 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-840 eastbound from MM 52.2 to 53.0 for repair work. One eastbound lane will remain open at all times.        

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 1 from the Davidson County line (LM 0.00) to Ken Pilkerton Drive (LM 6.42)

·        Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for milling, loop wires, casting adjustments and guardrail. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 266 from I-24 Interchange (LM 0.00) to Threet Industrial Blvd (LM 3.33)

·        Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 266 for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD, WILSON COUNTY, The Resurfacing of I-840 with OGFC from East Fork Stones River Bridge in Rutherford County to just North of the Wilson County line

·        Friday, May 18, 8PM through Monday, May 21, 5AM, There will be ramp lane closures on the ramps at Jefferson Pike and SR 452 for concrete replacement of defective areas on the ramps.

·        Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-840 from MM 60-65 for milling.   

 

SMITH COUNTY, Construction of a truck climbing lane on I-40 in Smith County

·        Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24, 8PM-6AM, The inside lane will be closed on I-40 westbound from MM 250-253 for barrier rail removal.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Rockfall Mitigation on SR 25 (L.M. 8.5)

·        Daily, 9AM-2PM, There will be a temporary road closure on SR 25 for blasting operations. This operation should take no more than 30 minutes.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, and Paving Work on SR 6 (Franklin Road) from south of Moores Lane (L.M. 15.93) to Concord Road (18.53)

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating temporary lane closures and/or intermittent stoppages of traffic (one direction at a time) northbound between Wikle Road and Long Road for placing barrier rail.

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures north and south of Moore's Lane and Wikle Road for utility work. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-840 from west of U.S. 31 (SR 6) (L.M. 21.70) to near Campbell Rd. (L.M. 26.00)

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-840 in both directions from MM 27-32 for paving operations. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. There will also be temporary ramp closures.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 141 from Sugar Flat road to the Smith County Line (L.M. 14.59-21.14)

·        Daily 6:30AM-4:30PM (excluding Sundays), There will be temporary lane closures on SR 141 for paving activities. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-440 in both directions for striping work. At least one lane will remain open.

 

Daily, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 100 at Pasquo Road for replacing storm drainage and installation of conduit for traffic signals, along with paving work. One lane will remain open.

 

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Nolensville Road near the Williamson County line for milling and paving work.

 

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd between I-24 and Dickerson Rd for milling and paving work.

 

Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound for milling and paving operations from MM 200-205. At least one lane will remain open.

 

Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 255 for water line work and paving between Lebanon Rd and Nodyne Dr. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY

Tuesday, May 22, 7PM-3AM, There will be a temporary lane closures on I-40 for paving operations between MM 139-138.

 

MARSHALL COUNTY

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound at MM 28 for milling and replacing asphalt.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 2 southbound at LM 3.4 for miscellaneous operations.

 

SUMNER COUNTY

Thursday, May 17 through Saturday, May 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be a right lane closure on SR 174 eastbound intersection to SR 386 for installation of a turning lane. One lane will remain open.  There will be a right lane closure on SR 386 eastbound for installation of right-in, right out. The left lane eastbound will also be closed for installation of concrete median in existing lane. The lane closure will alternate between the left and right lanes.

 

Daily (excluding Sundays), 12PM-3PM, There will be possible rolling roadblocks for blasting work on SR 386 at the Wynbrooke subdivision.

 

WILSON COUNTY

Daily (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on SR 109 between Callis Road and I-40 for rock blasting/excavation for THE VENUE Project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions at the intersection of SR 109 and Callis Road for construction of turn lane and cross over.

 

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.  Information in this report is provided to the Department of Transportation by the contractors.  Most work is weather dependent and subject to change due to inclement weather.
