District 47 - West TN - Northern
BENTON, CARROLL,DYER, GIBSON COUNTY, VARIOUS STATE ROUTES:
The retracing of painted pavement marking lines on various state routes will cause rolling lane closures.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3 (US-51): Repair of bridges over South Fork Forked Deer River. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone. Traffic is reduced to one lane on US 51 (SR 3) in both north and southbound directions, from LM 24.73 to LM 25.00 in Lauderdale County and LM 0.00 to LM 0.40 in Dyer County. SR 3 (US 51) northbound traffic is then shifted to the southbound lanes in the crossover areas. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 portion of the project.
Restrictions: There is a 12’ 10” lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412): Repair of bridges over Lewis Creek. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
On Thursday, December 6, 2018 both the northbound and southbound lanes are open to traffic on SR 20 from (L.M. 2.16 to L.M 2.74). Temporary lane closures are possible throughout the remaining duration of the job. Construction signs and message boards are in use.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. *Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: Construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The southbound traffic has been switched to the northbound side on SR 3 throughout the work zone, for phase 2 construction.
Restrictions: Tuesday, November 13, 2018 SR 3 has a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ 6” lane restriction.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: The repair of the bridge on Hyndsver Road over SR 22 will cause a lane closure in both directions on SR 22. *Speed limit will be reduced to 55 MPH on SR 22 between LM 20.77 and LM 22.37. Hyndsver Road will be closed for the duration of the project.

District 48 - West TN – Middle/Southern
HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass):
The construction of an I-Beam bridge along with grading, drainage, and paving may cause temporary lane closures on SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass) from east of SR-87 LM 11.12 to west of Windrow Rd. LM 14.73. One lane will remain open at all times. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128:  The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive to south of Opel Loop. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-223:  The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 223 from North of James Lawrence Rd (LM 11.31) to I-40 (LM 15.07), including Technology Center Drive. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd for paving and construction of retaining walls.  Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.
Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31, 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.: Intermittent lane closures on I-40 for pothole repair work and paving from MM 79-82, east and west bound. One lane to remain open at all times.
Back up dates, Saturday, April 6, and Sunday April 7, 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 5, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.:
Intermittent lane closures on Carriage House Dr. west bound, right lane only. One lane to remain open at all times.

District 47 & 48 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier Rail (F8th Construction Company)

There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

·         I-40, Madison and Henderson counties east and westbound (MM 67.19 to MM 119.78)

TDOT District 48 MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, March 27, through Wednesday, April 3, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:
There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.
Wednesday, March 27, 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:
There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 in Henderson and Decatur counties east and west bound MM 108.0 to MM 126.0 for pothole repair. One lane will remain open. THP to assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

District 49 - West TN – Southwest
FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-18:
Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 18 at the intersection of SR 57 LM 3.90 - LM 4.30

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-210: Repair of the bridges on SR 210 over the South Fork Forked Deer River will cause possible lane closures through the project.
Restrictions: Monday, February 11 through Friday, May 31. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction controlled by temporary traffic signal.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 - Drain Repair:
Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 3, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: RAMP CLOSURE
I-240 eastbound off-ramp to northbound SR-176 (Exit 20 - Getwell Rd. LM 10.8) to allow for drain repairs. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 MemFix 4: Replacement of Norfolk Southern, SR 57 east and westbound bridges, and repair of Park Avenue bridge over I-240. Park Avenue: The right lane heading west will be closed through April 10th.

·         Wednesday, March 27 and Thursday, March 28, and Monday, April 1 through Thursday, April 4, 9:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. – There will be lane closures on I-240 east and westbound and Poplar Ave east and westbound.  The associated ramps from I-240 and Poplar Ave will also be CLOSED with the exception of Poplar westbound to I-240 eastbound.

·         Friday, March 29, 9:00 p.m. until Monday, April 1, 6:00 a.m. – There will be lane closures on I-240 east and westbound and Poplar Ave east and westbound.  Ramps associated with the lane closures from I-240 and Poplar Ave will also be CLOSED.  Detours will be provided when needed.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 - Concrete Pavement Repair: Region 4 - District 49 - contractor will perform concrete pavement repair
Thursday March 28, 8:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m., and Friday, March 29, 8:00 p.m. through, Monday, April 1, 5:00 a.m.: RAMP CLOSURE east and westbound I-40 (LM 10.0) at SR-14 NB off-ramp (Exit 8 to Jackson Ave) and I-40 (LM 9.0) off-ramp to northbound Warford Avenue to allow for concrete pavement repair. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River near the Fayette County line will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: The grading, drainage, construction of concrete Bulb-Tee and I-beam bridges, signals and paving on SR 14 from east of Old Covington Pike to SR 385 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

 

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 385 to east of Kerrville Rosemark. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14:  A bridge repair at Raleigh-Millington Exit:
Wednesday, March 27, 12:00 a.m. through Friday, May, 31:
The Raleigh-Millington Exit from northbound SR 14 to Raleigh-Millington will be closed for repairs.

SHELBY COUNTY, City of Memphis – US-72/SR-57 (Poplar Avenue) - Road Widening Project
Thursday, March 28 through Wednesday, April 3, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT Left Lane Closure
on Poplar Avenue east and westbound from 1375 east of Brookfield Road to South Yates Road to allow for the widening of the roadway.  Weather Permitting

  There will be night time lane closures on SR 3 (Shelby and Tipton Counties), SR 14 (Shelby County), SR 385, I-40 (Fayette and Shelby Counties), I-55, I-240, and I-269 (Shelby and Fayette Counties): One lane will be CLOSED to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, March 28, through Wednesday, April 3, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be day time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. If weather prohibits, the repairs will be performed on the next available day. Flagmen will be used where necessary. Weather Permitting.

  • Fayette Co., SR 57 east and westbound, MM 3.0 – MM 23.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Lauderdale Co., SR 19 east and westbound, MM 0.0 – MM 26.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Lauderdale Co., SR 209 east and westbound, MM 0.0 – MM 19.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Lauderdale Co., SR 371 north and southbound, MM 1.4; One lane will be CLOSED. Flagmen will be used.
  • Shelby Co. SR 14, northbound and southbound, MM 7.0 – MM 30.2, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • Shelby County, SR 204, northbound, MM10.6. One lane will be CLOSED.
  • Tipton Co., SR 3 north and southbound, MM 0.0 – MM 25.0, various locations; Shoulder closure ONLY. Flagmen will be used.
