District 47 - West TN - Northern
CARROLL COUNTY, SR-76 (US-79): Monday, January 7 through Thursday, February 28, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures along SR 76 (US-79) between Cutlip Lane and Winston Road for soil borings.
DYER COUNTY, SR-3 (US-51): Repair of bridges over South Fork Forked Deer River. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone. Traffic is reduced to one lane on US 51 (SR 3) in both north and southbound directions, from LM 24.73 to LM 25.00 in Lauderdale County and LM 0.00 to LM 0.40 in Dyer County. SR 3 (US 51) northbound traffic is then shifted to the southbound lanes in the crossover areas. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 portion of the project.
Restrictions: There is a 12’ 10” lane restriction.
DYER COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412): Repair of bridges over Lewis Creek. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
On Thursday, December 6, 2018 both the northbound and southbound lanes are open to traffic on SR 20 from (L.M. 2.16 to L.M 2.74). Temporary lane closures are possible throughout the remaining duration of the job. Construction signs and message boards are in use.
HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. *Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH.
LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: Construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The southbound traffic has been switched to the northbound side on SR 3 throughout the work zone, for phase 2 construction.
Restrictions: Tuesday, November 13, 2018 SR 3 has a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ 6” lane restriction.
District 48 - West TN – Middle/Southern
HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): The construction of an I-Beam bridge along with grading, drainage, and paving may cause temporary lane closures on SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass) from east of SR-87 LM 11.12 to west of Windrow Rd. LM 14.73. One lane will remain open at all times. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive to south of Opel Loop. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.
MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd for paving and construction of retaining walls. Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.
Wednesday, March 6, 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m.: Intermittent lane closures at the SR 186 north bound on ramp heading east bound on I-40. Traffic to detour right at light. Closure is to allow the contractor to drill the foundation for overhead sign structure.
Saturday, March 9, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.: Close left lane of I-40 east and west bound between Exit 79 an Exit 82 for portable barrier rail work.
Back up date Sunday, March 10, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.: Intermittent lane closures on Carriage House Dr. west bound, right lane only. One lane to remain open at all times.
LOOK AHEAD:
Saturday, March 16, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.: Intermittent lane closures on I-40 for pothole repair work for the length of the project, east and west bound. One lane to remain open at all times.

District 47 & 48 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier Rail (F8th Construction Company)
Sunday, March 11, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

TDOT District 48 MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, March 6, through Wednesday, March 13, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.
Thursday, March 7, 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 in Henderson and Decatur counties east and west bound MM 95.0 to MM 125.0 for pothole repair. One lane will remain open. THP to assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.
Tuesday, March 12, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closures on SR-5 (US 45) at LM 11.17 for a team to perform a bridge inspection. One lane will remain open. THP to assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.
District 49 - West TN – Southwest
FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-18: Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 18 at the intersection of SR 57 LM 3.90 - LM 4.30
LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-210: Repair of the bridges on SR 210 over the South Fork Forked Deer River will cause possible lane closures through the project.
Restrictions: Monday, February 11 through Friday, May 31. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction controlled by temporary traffic signal.
SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 - Drain Repair:
Thursday, March 7, through Friday, March 8, and Monday, March 11 through Wednesday March 13, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: RAMP CLOSURE I-240 eastbound off-ramp to northbound SR-176 (Getwell Rd.) exit 20 LM 10.8 to allow for drain repairs. Weather Permitting
SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 - Bridge Lighting Repair:
Monday, March 11 through Thursday, March 14, 7:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures I-40 east and westbound at MM 0.00 on the Mississippi River Bridge to allow for bridge lighting repairs. Weather Permitting
SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 MemFix 4: Replacement of Norfolk Southern, SR 57 east and westbound bridges, and repair of Park Avenue bridge over I-240.
Park Avenue: The right lane heading west will be closed through March 15th.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River near the Fayette County line will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from
SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.
SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: The grading, drainage, construction of concrete Bulb-Tee and I-beam bridges, signals and paving on SR 14 from east of Old Covington Pike to SR 385 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.
