District 47 - West TN - Northern

BENTON, DYER, GIBSON, LAKE, OBION, COUNTY, VARIOUS STATE ROUTES: The retracing of painted pavement marking lines on various state routes will cause rolling lane closures.

BENTON & DECATUR COUNTY, I-40:  There will be rolling lane closures on I-40  east and west bound from MM 120.31 to MM 134.9(including TN River Bridge) for retracing operations.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412): The resurfacing on SR 20 from US 51 (SR 3) to near Bonicord Road extension may cause temporary lane closures. Motorist should watch for crews and equipment entering and exiting roadways.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-367: The resurfacing of SR 367 from L.M. 0.00 to L.M. 4.73 will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-5: The addition of turn lanes on U.S. 45W (SR5) from L.M. 7.66 to L.M. 8.18 will cause traffic to be reduced to one lane in both directions.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. *Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The southbound traffic has been switched to the northbound side on SR 3 throughout the work zone, for phase 2 construction.

Restrictions: Tuesday, November 13, 2018 SR 3 has a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ 6” lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, US 45W (US-51, SR-3): The Repair of 6 bridges on various routes over US 45W US 51(SR 3). Motorist should watch trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

On Friday, April 5, 2019 bridges on McClard Road, Mayberry Road and Wright Road will be closed for bridge repair. Bridge repairs will cause temporary lane closures daily on SR 3 (LM 23.297 to LM 29.97).  Outside lane closures on SR 3 will re-open by 6:00 p.m. daily. Temporary lane closures are possible throughout the remaining duration of the job. Construction signs are in use.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: The repair of the bridges over Mud Creek (LM 15.71) and Chestnut Branch (15.75) will cause a lane closure in both directions on SR 22.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-43: The repair of the bridges SR 43 over overflow (LM 20.50) will cause a lane closure in both directions on SR 43.

 

District 48 - West TN – Middle/Southern

HAYWOOD COUNTY, I-40: Bridge repairs on I-40 near KoKo Rd. MM 51.8 to MM 60.0

Wednesday, June 19, and Thursday, June 20, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be temporary inside and outside lane closures on I-40 East and West bound from MM 51.8 to MM 60.0 for repair of bridge approaches on I-40.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): The construction of an I-Beam bridge along with grading, drainage, and paving may cause temporary lane closures on SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass) from east of SR-87 LM 11.12 to west of Windrow Rd. LM 14.73. One lane will remain open at all times. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH within the project limits.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18: The resurfacing on SR 18 from US 64 (SR-15) (LM 17.39) to THE Madison County line (LM 30.98) may cause temporary lane closures. Motorist should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57: The improvement of the intersection on SR-57 and Kendrick Rd. LM 1.73 may cause possible lane closures. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128:  The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive to south of Opel Loop. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HENDERSON COUNTY/CARROLL, I-40: The resurfacing on I-40 from MM 115.31 (LM 20.31) in Henderson County to MM 120.3 (LM 0.66) in Carroll County.

Sunday, June 23, through Friday, June 28, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Intermittent lane closures on I-40 east and west bound from MM 115.31(LM 20.31) to MM 120.31(LM 0.66) for paving operations. Weather Permitting.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-223:  The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 223 from North of James Lawrence Rd (LM 11.31) to I-40 (LM 15.07), including Technology Center Drive. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-198:  The construction of a concrete box bridge on SR 198 over Bear Creek (LM 8.65) along with grading, drainage, and paving will cause temporary lane closures. Beginning April 29, 2019 there will be an 11’ width restriction and a temporary signal will be put in place. Motorists should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd for paving and construction of retaining walls.  Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.

Wednesday, June 19, through Saturday, June 22, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Beginning with the SOUTHBOUND lanes of the US 45 By-Pass there will be a PARTIAL closure of the US 45 By-Pass for final paving. This includes the associated interstate ramps. Crews will then close NORTHBOUND lanes for final paving and will include the associated interstate ramps.

Thursday, June 20, 8:00 p.m., through Friday, June 21, 2:00 p.m.: There will be a closure on I-40 west bound ramp of exit 82B. Ramp will remain open, only the turn lane will be effected.

Sunday, June 23, through Wednesday, June 26, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:  Beginning with the SOUTHBOUND lanes of the US 45 By-Pass there will be a PARTIAL closure of the US 45 By-Pass for final paving. Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: Intermittent left and right lane closures on N. Highland, north and south bound, to excavate for the temporary turn lane and ramps onto I-40.

Saturday, June 29, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.: Intermittent right and left lane closures on Highland (Hwy 45) north and south bound, to excavate for temporary turn lane onto I-40.

Monday, June 24, and Tuesday, June 25, 6:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.: There will be closures on the interchange ramps at SR-45 and Business 45 E north and south bound on ramps in Weakley County.

Wednesday, June 19, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Wednesday, June 19, through Wednesday, June 26, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.

 

 

District 49 - West TN – Southwest

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: Repair of the bridge on I-40 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures on nights and weekends throughout the project.

Friday, June 21, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, June 24, 6:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound from MM 29.50 to MM 31.00 for bridge deck repair. One lane will remain open at all times. *Speed Limit will be reduced to 60 MPH during closures.

Friday, June 28, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, July 1, 6:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound from MM 29.50 to MM 31.00 for bridge deck repair. One lane will remain open at all times. *Speed Limit will be reduced to 60 MPH during closures.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-18: Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 18 at the intersection of SR 57 LM 3.90 - LM 4.30 may cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-88: The resurfacing on SR 88 from west of Key Corner Rd. to near Edith-Nankipoo Rd. may cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-209: The resurfacing on SR 209 from Foodstore Rd. to SR 180 may cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-210: Repair of the bridges on SR 210 over the South Fork Forked Deer River will cause possible lane closures through the project.
Restrictions: Monday, February 11 through Monday, July 1. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction controlled by temporary traffic signal.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40: Bridge inspection on the I-40 Hernando Desoto bridge over the Mississippi River will cause outside lane and shoulder closures throughout the project.

Monday, June 24 through Wednesday, June 26, 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

There will be lane and shoulder closures on I-40 westbound on the Hernando Desoto Bridge over the Mississippi River for the purpose of bridge inspection. The outside lane and shoulder will be closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40: Resurfacing on I-40 westbound from near Cypress Creek to near Exit 20 to near Chambers Chapel Road.

Sunday, June 23 through Thursday, June 27, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be lane and shoulder closures on I-40 westbound from near Cypress Creek (MM 23.2) to near Exit 20 (MM 21.2) and eastbound from near Exit 20 (MM 20.8) to near Chambers Chapel Road (MM 22.8) to perform resurfacing activities.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55: Resurfacing on I-55 from the Mississippi State line to Millbranch Road, including bridge deck repair.

Friday, June 21, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, June 24, 6:00 a.m.: Lane closures on I-55 north and southbound from Millbranch Road to Mississippi State line to perform bridge repair work. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 MemFix 4: Replacement of Norfolk Southern, SR 57 east and westbound bridges, and repair of Park Avenue bridge over I-240.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 385 to east of Kerrville Rosemark. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

 

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14:  Bridge repair at Raleigh-Millington Exit

Wednesday, June 19, 12:00 a.m. through Sunday, June 30: The Raleigh-Millington Exit from northbound SR 14 to Raleigh-Millington will be closed for repairs.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385 from Ridgeway Road (LM-1.26) to near Hacks Cross Road (LM-6.13): Resurfacing will have lane closures throughout the project.

One lane will be CLOSED to repair damaged guardrail. If weather prohibits, the repairs will be performed on the next available day. Flagmen will be used where necessary. Weather Permitting

Wednesday, June 19, 9:00 a.m. through Saturday, June 22, 4:00 p.m.: The outside lane of eastbound SR 57 (Poplar Ave.) will be closed in front of the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library to allow for demolition of the existing sidewalk and curb and the installation of a new concrete curb ramp. Weather Permitting

Monday, June 24, 9:00 a.m. through Wednesday, June 26, 12:00 p.m.: The center turn lane and east and westbound inside lanes of SR 57 (Poplar Ave) will be closed in front of the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library to allow for the installation of a median pedestrian refuge island. Weather Permitting
