District 47 - West TN - Northern
DYER COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412):
The resurfacing on SR 20 from US 51 (SR 3) to the Crockett County Line will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-5: The addition of turn lanes on US 45W (SR 5) between Humboldt and Trenton will cause traffic to be reduced to one lane in both directions.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-43: The resurfacing of US 45E (SR 43) from the Madison County line to SR 187 (Graball Dr.) will cause temporary lane closures in both directions throughout the project.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-367: The resurfacing of SR 367 in Trenton will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. *Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69 (Phase 2): Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The southbound traffic has been switched to the northbound side on SR 3 throughout the work zone, for phase 2 construction.

Restrictions: Tuesday, November 13, 2018 SR 3 has a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ 6” lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69 (Phase 3): Grading, drainage, construction of bridges and paving on future I-69 from west of SR 21to US 51 (SR 3) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

Beginning on Monday, July 29, 2019: SR 21 North will from Clifford Rives Road to Lindenwood Road. The closure is expected for approximately 1 year to allow the construction of the overhead Bridge on the new portion of SR 21 along with the Road & Drainage of the I-69 mainline. Northbound traffic will detour from SR 21 East onto Clifford Rives Road, then North on Bethlehem Road, West onto Lindenwood Road before proceeding North on SR 21. Southbound traffic will be in reverse order. Detour routes are posted.

OBION COUNTY, US 45W (US-51, SR-3): The repair of 6 bridges on various routes over US 45W US 51(SR 3). Motorist should watch trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

On Friday, April 5, 2019 bridges on McClard Road, Mayberry Road and Wright Road will be closed for bridge repair. Bridge repairs will cause temporary lane closures daily on SR 3.  Outside lane closures on SR 3 will re-open by 6:00 p.m. daily. Temporary lane closures are possible throughout the remaining duration of the job. Construction signs are in use.

OBION COUNTY, US-51 (SR-3): The resurfacing on US 51 (SR 3) from South Main Street to north of Allie Campbell Road will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: The repair of the bridges over Mud Creek and Chestnut Branch will cause a lane closure in both directions on SR 22.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, US 45E (SR-43): The resurfacing on US 45E (SR 43) from SR 22 to the Obion County line will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

District 48 - West TN – Middle/Southern
CHESTER COUNTY, SR-100:
Resurfacing on SR 100 from Hardeman County line (LM 0.00) to SR 225 (LM 7.78).

Wednesday, August 21, through Wednesday, August 28, 6:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m.: Intermittent right and left lane closures on SR 100 from the Hardeman County line to SR 225 east and westbound for paving operations. One lane will remain open. Weather Permitting

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18: The resurfacing on SR 18 from US 64 (SR 15) to the Madison County line may cause temporary lane closures. Motorist should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-57: The resurfacing on SR 57 from Saulsbury Rd. (LM 6.85) to Old Rogers Spring Rd. (LM 12.47) may cause temporary lane closures. Motorist should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128:  The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive to south of Opel Loop. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-1 (US 70): The resurfacing on SR 1(US 70) from the Tipton County line to Big Muddy Creek may cause temporary lane closures. Motorist should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): The construction of an I-Beam bridge along with grading, drainage, and paving may cause temporary lane closures on SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass) from east of SR 87 LM 11.12 to west of Windrow Rd. LM 14.73. One lane will remain open at all times. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH within the project limits.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-201: The resurfacing on SR 201 from Chester County line to the SR 104 may cause temporary lane closures. Motorist should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

Wednesday, August 21 through Wednesday, September 25, 6:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m.: The resurfacing on SR 201 from the Chester County line (LM 0.00) to SR 104 (LM 4.06) will cause temporary lane closures. Weather Permitting

HENDERSON COUNTY/CARROLL, I-40: The resurfacing on I-40 from MM 115.31 (LM 20.31) in Henderson County to MM 120.3 (LM 0.66) in Carroll County.

Sunday, August 21, through Friday, August 28: There are no scheduled closures.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd for paving and construction of retaining walls.  Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.

Monday, August 19, through Friday, August 23, EACH DAY from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: SR-5 (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities. Weather Permitting

Saturday, August 24, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00p.m.: SR-5 (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities. Weather Permitting

Tuesday, September 3 and Wednesday, September 4, EACH DAY from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.:

SR-5 (Highland Avenue will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities. Weather Permitting

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5: Resurfacing on SR 5 north and southbound right and left lanes from SR 186 (Highland Avenue) to SR 43 (Three-Way).

Wednesday, August 21 through Wednesday, August 28, 6:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m.: Intermittent right and left lane closures on SR 5 from SR 186 to SR 43 north and southbound for paving operations. One lane will remain open. (Work will not begin in the southbound direction before 8:30 a.m.)

MADISON COUNTY, SR-198:  The construction of a concrete box bridge on SR 198 over Bear Creek (LM 8.65) along with grading, drainage, and paving will cause temporary lane closures.

Restrictions: Beginning April 29, 2019 there will be an 11’ width restriction and a temporary signal will be put in place. Motorists should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-223:  The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 223 from North of James Lawrence Rd (LM 11.31) to I-40 (LM 15.07), including Technology Center Drive. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

Friday, August 23, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, August 26, 6:00 a.m.: There will be intermittent right lane closures on I-40 west and eastbound at Exit 76 as well as intermittent closures of on and off ramps at Exit 76 for milling and paving operations. There will be intermittent lane closures on SR 223 north or southbound for resurfacing and bridge deck repair. One lane will remain open at all times. Weather Permitting

Wednesday, August 21, through Wednesday, August 28, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: 
There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.

Wednesday, August 21, 7:30 a.m.-2:00 a.m. There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 westbound at MM 84.0 for bridge repair.

Thursday, August 22, 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound near MM 75.0 for bridge repair.

District 49 - West TN – Southwest
FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-18:
Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 18 at the intersection of SR 57 may cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40: Resurfacing on I-40 from the Hernando Desoto Bridge to near the Wolf River Bridge (Chelsea Avenue)

Wednesday, August 21 through Tuesday, August 27, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.(excluding weekends): There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on I-40 east and westbound to allow for resurfacing and safety improvements. Detours will be provided as needed. Weather Permitting.

Wednesday, August 28 and Thursday, August 29, 12:00 a.m.-5:00 a.m.:
The ramp from I-240 northbound to I-40 westbound will be closed. Detours will be provided.

Wednesday, September 4 and Thursday, September 5, 12:00 a.m.-5:00 a.m.: Close I-40 westbound at the I-240 southbound split (LM-3.282) to I-40 westbound at the I-240 northbound ramp (LM 2.232). Detours will be provided at Lamar Ave.

Friday, September 6, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, September 9, 6:00 a.m.: The ramps at I-40 east and westbound ramps to Chelsea/Smith (Exit 2) will be closed for concrete repairs. Detours will be provided.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40: Bridge Lighting repair
Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 23, 8:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 east and westbound at MM 0.00 on the Mississippi River Bridge to allow for bridge lighting repairs. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55: Resurfacing on I-55 from the Mississippi State line to Millbranch Road including bridge deck repair.

Wednesday, August 21 through Tuesday, August 27, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. (excluding weekends): INTERMITTENT lane and ramp closures on I-55 north and southbound from Millbranch Road to Mississippi state-line to perform the resurfacing work. Detours will be provided.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Bridge repair project on US 78 (SR 4) over Johns Creek 600 feet north of Shelby Drive.

Friday, August 23, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be nightly lane closures northbound on SR-4 (Lamar) of the right (outside) lane from 500 feet south of Shelby Drive to 600 feet north of Shelby Drive to install bridge beams. Rolling road blocks will be used affecting east and westbound Shelby Drive and northbound SR 4. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: The grading, drainage, construction of concrete Bulb-Tee and I-beam bridges, signals and paving on SR 14 from east of Old Covington Pike to SR 385 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

 

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 385 to east of Kerrville Rosemark. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14:  Bridge repair at Raleigh-Millington Exit
Wednesday, August 21, 12:00 a.m. through Saturday, August 31: The Raleigh-Millington Exit from northbound SR 14 to Raleigh-Millington will be closed for repairs.

Shelby County, SR-175: Resurfacing on SR 175 from Houston Levee Road to Byhalia Road will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project. Expected completion date 11/15/2019.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Resurfacing on SR 385 from the Hacks Cross Road to Byhalia Road

Wednesday, August 21 through Tuesday, August 27, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.(excluding weekends): INTERMITTENT lane closures on SR 385 east and westbound from Hacks Cross Road to Byhalia Road to perform the resurfacing work. Detours will be provided. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Resurfacing on SR 385 from Memphis-Arlington Road to Brunswick Road will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-59: The resurfacing on SR 59 from the Mississippi River to near Indian Creek may cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

TDOT District 49 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier Rail Repair:
Wednesday, August 21 through Tuesday, August 27, 8:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.:
  There will be night time lane closures on SR 3 (Shelby and Tipton Counties), SR 14 (Shelby County), SR 385 (Shelby County), SR 204 (Shelby County), I-40 (Fayette and Shelby Counties), I 269 (Shelby and Fayette Counties), I 55 and I 240 (Shelby County): One lane will be CLOSED to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting

Thursday, August 22 through Wednesday, August 28, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:  There will be day time lane closures at various locations on SR 1 and SR 57 (Fayette County), to repair damaged guardrail. One lane will be CLOSED to repair damaged guardrail. If weather prohibits, the repairs will be performed on the next available day. Flagmen will be used where necessary. Weather Permitting
