CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Last week, TDOT announced a series of public information meetings in September to discuss the I-75/I-24 interchange modification project currently underway. Due to a scheduling conflict, the location of the East Ridge meeting has been changed from Camp Jordan Arena to the East Ridge Community Center.

Each of the meetings will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. EDT with a presentation given at approximately 6:00 p.m.  The dates and locations are as follows:

Chattanooga, TN 37421

(NEW LOCATION)

Brainerd Meeting – Thursday, September 26, 2019

The same presentation will be given at each meeting, so members of the public can choose the meeting that is most convenient for them to attend. Representatives from TDOT and the contractor will be present to provide information and answer questions.

Additionally, the I-75/I-24 interchange modification project website now has a process for members of the public to sign up for project updates. A link and instructions are located on the main page of the project website and in the Public Involvement section of the website: www.tn.gov/tdot/projects/region-2/i-75-interchange-at-i-24.

In December 2018, TDOT awarded the contract for the I‑75/I‑24 interchange modification design-build project to C.W. Matthews Contracting Co., Inc. for $132,644,398. The winning design-build proposal will complete design and construction of this project in less than three years.
