Blueberry Banana Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 2 large or 3 small smoothies

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups grapes (red or green)
  • OPTIONAL: ½ cup yogurt (plain yogurt, can omit or substitute non-dairy yogurt, or 1/4 avocado to increase calories)
  • ⅓ cup carrots, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup kale, chopped
  • 1 banana (ripe)
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • OPTIONAL: 1 tablespoon flax meal
  • 1 cup ice (need only ½ cup if fruit is frozen)
Directions:
  1. Place grapes and yogurt (optional) at the bottom of your blender and add other ingredients on top. 
  2. Blend well until fruit and veggies are smooth. 
  3. Yields 3 ½ cups of smoothie (enough for 3 mini smoothies or 2 larger smoothies).
Notes:

To give it some extra calories, throw in a slice or two of avocado.
