2022 Adjuster Certification Program Schedule

Enhancing adjusters' knowledge of Tennessee’s claims handling requirements
Friday, January 07, 2022 | 12:00pm

Adjusters are key players in setting the tone for recovery for injured workers. The Bureau is pleased to announce the anticipated 2022 dates for Tennessee's voluntary insurance Adjuster Certification Program. This program is a fast-paced sequence of classes that touch on many aspects of Tennessee’s workers’ compensation claims handling requirements. Those who attend the classes and pass the exam are recognized on the program’s webpage as being certified in Tennessee.

Insurance adjusters who attend this voluntary class help raise the bar and improve the quality of services offered to injured workers across the state.  They help reduce the costs for employers they serve and improve the outcomes of the injured workers they assist.

Four Classes Scheduled for 2022
February 14–18*
May 23–27*
August 29–September 2*
December 5–9*

*All dates are subject to change as conditions warrant

We anticipate that these classes will be conducted virtually with the chance that later sessions might be held in person, as we really want to see and interact with you face-to-face again. Each virtual class is a week-long investment. When we can safely resume in-person class offerings, the dates will shift to a two-day format.

Feedback from the December 2021 Class

Even though this course was presented online, the presenters and presentation was very easy to learn; and the presenters answered any questions you had as if you were in-person. No technical issues!!
The presenters were more than willing to answer questions. Also, the presentation was very detailed.
I liked getting first-hand knowledge from the folks who work at the bureau every day.
