Even for topic as serious as dementia - there's an app for that! Here are a few apps that can be used for caregivers, persons living with dementia, and health care providers.

Alzheimer's Disease Pocketcard (for iOS, Android, Web Version): Cost = free
"The free Alzheimer’s Association® Alzheimer's Disease Pocketcard app puts reliable information and assessment tools at your fingertips. Physicians can find clinical information on the diagnosis and management of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, utilize interactive tools, and much more. "1

Medicare - "What's Covered" App  (iOS, Android): Cost = free
The app delivers general cost, coverage and eligibility details for items and services covered by Medicare Part A and Part B.  Search or browse to learn what’s covered and not covered; how and when to get covered benefits; and basic cost information. You can also get a list of covered preventive services.5

Tennessee_Connect

TennCare Connect App (iOS, Android): Cost = free
"The easiest way to access TennCare, CoverKids, and Medicare Savings Programs. The TennCare Connect app is for Tennesseans who have applied for or are receiving insurance through TennCare, CoverKids, and Medicare Savings Programs. From the convenience of your smartphone, you can access many of the self-service features of TennCare on the web.
Manage and view your cases anytime you want – right from your phone. Whether you want to know the status of your case, view your letters, or send us a photo of the required documents, you can use the TennCare Connect app."6
