Watershed Coordinators
The Tennessee Department of Agriculture’s Watershed Coordinators are available to provide technical assistance for addressing a variety of agricultural stormwater runoff and nonpoint source water concerns. They can help develop best management practices to combat pollutant contributions from a range of activities such as animal feeding operations, forestry activities, and urban runoff. A map of the Watershed Coordinators, and the areas they service, can be found below.
Through a Memorandum of Agreement with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, they can investigate complaints involving agricultural practices.
Please note: Watershed Coordinators do not assist with compliance issues related to permitted Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation (CAFOs).
