About this event
Each year the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum hosts the annual Legacy Event. This fundraiser provides the site with an opportunity to recognize and honor those who have made a significant and positive impact in our community, state, and nation.
This year’s honorees are:
Posthumously Drs. L.C., William, and Jimmy Jackson for their philanthropy, founding of Goodlark Hospital (now TriStar Horizon Medical Center), and contributions to the medical field in Tennessee & Mr. Gene Ward for his contributions to the Volunteer State through his work as general counsel of the Tennessee Public Service Commission, the Nashville Electric Service, and as a celebrated humorist and speech writer for Governor Frank G. Clement.
