TDMHSAS Receives More Than $53 Million in New Federal Funding for Post-COVID Mental Health and Substance Use Services

The supplemental block grant funding will add more than $27 million to mental health services and nearly $26 million to substance use services over the next four years.

Wednesday, June 02, 2021 | 08:04amNASHVILLE--Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions Commissioner Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 7.25 percent per annum. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 3.25 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on June 1, 2021.

Boxwoods Shipped to West Tennessee May Contain Invasive Pest

The Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) was notified today that boxwoods shipped to a distribution center in Memphis from Ontario, Canada between August 2020 and April 2021, may have been infested with box tree moths.
