Existing Business Visits

Roughly 70 to 75 percent of the jobs committed in Tennessee each year are generated from existing businesses. The business development teams in TNECD's nine regions meet and build relationships with companies to support growth and expansion activity. The dialogue typically consists of opportunities the company may have and/or overcoming challenges the company may face.

Key Performance Indicator:

• Every month, each business development regional office team member will conduct a minimum of 15 quality business visits/calls to provide assistance to companies. 
• Across all regional offices, the business development team will target 3,780 quality business visits during the calendar year
