Parker Branch WMA

Directions and Description


Site Directions: from Trenton Tennessee, take Gibson Hwy 186 southeast 3.5 miles and turn left into a gravel parking lot. Look for a sign in the parking lot reading “Parker Branch Wetland WMA”.  Lat: 35.93352N, Long. -88.89227W

The WMA is open year-round during daylight hours, please note hunting seasons.  General access is free however, some hunting, fishing, or recreational license fees may apply.

The Parker Branch WMA is located in Gibson County Tennessee and consists of 263 acres of mostly early successional habitat.  Access is mostly foot trails.  The area provides excellent habitat for Northern Bobwhite quailcottontail rabbitsAmerican Woodcock, and other wildlife that prefer early successional habitat.

Fishing: The farm pond is closed from sunset to sunrise.

CWD Carcass Transportation Regulations Apply

Big Game and Small Game are the same as statewide seasons, except as noted.

Deer  - Open for August Archery Deer Hunt.

Fall Turkey - Closed.

Spring Turkey - One (1) non-quota hunt: April 12 - May 4, 2025. One (1) male bearded turkey, counts toward statewide bag limit.

Turkey (Young Sportsman) - Same as statewide season and bag limit.

Quail - Closed.

Dog training - Nov. 1, 2024 - March 15, 2025.
