The meetings of the Volunteer Tennessee Commission and its Executive Committee are subject to the Tennessee Open Meeting Act requirements.  Under TCA Section 8-44-108, the Committee may rely on the participation of Executive Committee Members by telephonic, electronic, or other means to constitute a quorum (simple majority of voting members) only upon a finding of necessity by the Committee.

Any member of the public wishing to join the meeting may attend in person, telephonically by calling the number listed above, or electronically using the link included above.  Any member of the public wishing to address the Executive Committee during the Public Comment period must make a request in writing to: Jim Snell at jim.snell@tn.gov or 615-253-1426.  Requests must be made no later than one business day in advance of the meeting date.  Comments must be relevant to the published agenda items.
