CANCELLATION AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING

Due to the inclement weather and the impact on communications and operations at Chairman Smith’s ECD, the Tuesday meeting of the Policy Advisory Committee (the “Committee”) of the Tennessee Emergency Communications Board (the “Board”) has been CANCELED and is now RESCHEDULED for Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 10 Am CST. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, this February 24, 2021 meeting of the Committee of the will be held via Webex only. This is being done pursuant to Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Order #71 which can be read here. Invitations to attend the meeting via Webex will be sent out to Committee and Board members at a later this week. Invitations for the public will be available upon request via email to vanessa.williams@tn.gov. For members of the public that cannot attend via Webex, the Committee’s meeting will be recorded and posted online available the next business day following the close of the meeting. The recording of the meeting may be accessed here.

Committee meetings will be conducted by permitting participation of the Committee members by electronic or other means of communication if necessary.
